She landed, and waited nervously, looking up. Sam may be right about normal people never looking up, but she...never looked down....

She closed her eyes and followed her instincts, trying to figure out what was bothering her.

A small orange something found it's way under Luna's hooves, tripping her up. Ceres peaked up from the tangle of limbs.

Luna squeaked as she tumbled. When she realized what she had tripped over, she gasped softly. "Oh dear! Are you alright, little one?"

Ceres' little eyes widened and brightened. "I FOUND HER!" She called out. "Momma!" She saw cinnamon and beamed brightly. "Other Momma!"

Luna's eyes widened as she blinked at the child.
"Mommy?" another voice piped up before Kerryn stumbled out of the bushes to land on top of Ceres. "Mommies!"
A blue head peered down from a tree.

"What?" Cinnamon Sugar asked, startled and alarmed.
Ceres Beamed brightly. "We found our mommies!"
Kosuke gave a small soothing smile. "Momma?" he asked Luna, unsure.
"Course she's momma!" Ceres said proudly. "I found them, I know!"
Sitara came over and shook out her head, sending stardust flying every which way before she looked up at the two adult ponies. "what if they don't want us?" she whispered.
"That's right," Cinnamon's vengeful mouth took over while she was still dumbfounded. "Who would want a pack of little brats tumbling all over anyway?"
"Humph!" Ceres said, "Well who needs you then. "We have other momma. And she loves us, you'll see 'tara. Right Mommy?" she asked Luna.

Luna was quickly putting the peices together as she gazed at all the little ones looking at her. "Of course," she answered, a bit shocked herself. She was a mother? She certainly could feel a connection to the children, and she knew it to be true... but... oh dear.
"I don't need a mommy," Matariki scoffed dismissively, lounging on the tree branch.

"Course you do!" Ceres chided her brother. "We're family. lotsa ponies wish for family, and dun have one. So we hafta be thankful. Then we can have fun and get in trouble!"

"Trouble could be fun," he agreed grudgingly.
While the children chattered amongst themselves, Luna looked to Cinnamon Sugar, not really sure what to do or say. She couldn't leave the children on their own but...

Cinnamon struggled for control of her own mouth. "I....I can't..." she whispered, shaking from the effort it took to keep her mouth in check.
"Yeah huh! Troubles like the bestest friend in the whole widest world, and its most fun ta get inta trouble with family, and what fun is trouble without momma to catch us?"
