Rorschach finished his beans, grabbed a napkin, wiped his mouth off, pulled his face down again. Walked out to the sitting room again, and saw a man, dressed in metal. Strange. Metal man. Was like nothing he'd ever seen before. Time to observe quietly again. Metal man was an unknown factor.
Danny, seeing Rorschach leave the kitchen, walked in the kitchen. He looked at Cat's plate, and said, "Huh. That looks good." He opened the fridge, and found a full box of pizza sitting there. He smiled, grabbed the box, and sat down next to Black Cat. Grabbing a slice from inside the box, he said to her, "Glad to see a woman that can eat AND have a good figure. I thought they were extinct." Then he took a bite.

Cat smiled. "Are you kidding? With everything I get up to, I need protein." Of course, this wasn't the best kind of protein, but she was in the mood to indulge.

Danny said, "Yeah, I can imagine. Alright, I told you about Ghost Rider, how about I hear a little about you." He ate the slice of pizza he had, and grabbed another one from the box. "Help yourself, by the way," he added, motioning to the box.

Cat was still working on her first piece, so she just shook her head. "There's not much to tell. I steal things; sometimes for fun, sometimes for money. I'm one of the only people in the business who can usually deal with Spider-man in one way or another, so I'm in pretty high demand." She shrugged and took another bite of her pizza, disliking the topic.

Cat grinned wickedly. "How do you think?" Actually, at least half of it was fighting.

Cat took another bite of pizza. "Of course I can. I wouldn't be able to even begin to keep up with him if I couldn't. And it's gotten a lot easier since I started manifesting actual powers," she added thoughtfully.

Cat shook her head impatiently. "No, I said that he got rid of the negative side effects. It was like... I could cause bad luck. The problem was that I couldn't control it, so it effected everyone around me, whether I wanted it to or not." She shrugged again and grabbed another piece of pizza. "So he got rid of it."

Danny nodded a little. "Alright, I understand now." He smiled to himself a little, then said, "You know, hiding from demons while waiting for the Sorcerer Supreme aside, this is kind of fun. Maybe we could do this again. After we get Azazel off your case."

Cat blinked at him over her slice of pizza with wide, questioning eyes. "Do what?" she asked after swallowing, "Eat pizza?" Should she mention the fact that the demon had contacted her? ... No. It wasn't as though he'd done anything but make threats in a scary voice. Besides, the last thing she needed was for Danny to be more paranoid than he already was.

Danny laughed. It felt good to actually laugh. "Well, if you insist, but I was thinking more along the lines of what normal people would call a date."

"A date?" She did her best to look offended, but the amusement in her eyes betrayed her. "Daniel, I am surprised at you! You want a date while the world is ending? You should be off doing hero things... and I should be capitalizing on the chaos," she added with a very slight, thoroughly mischievous smile.

Danny chuckled at that. "Well, a hero's gotta take a break every once in a while. So would a thief, I imagine. Maybe we can match up our busy schedules for, say, about three, four days after we take care of Azazel. How about it?" His eyebrow raised at her as he asked.
