Lite stumbled,and almost lost grip of Arin. he did catch on to her again, and twisted his body so she would be falling on top of him. now comes the reason why claw gauntlets strapped to your belt is a bad idea: they hurt when sat upon. he winced as the claws sank into the meat of his arse. he tried to get up slowly, now seeing tufts of fur blow past him.

Getting up was almost a waste of time. he rose an inch, and then landed right back on his a**.tears ran down his cheeks as he fought back the urge to scream. he didn't want his Auntie to wake up and exert herself even further. he tried yet again to rise. he needed to get Auntie Arin help.

his will prevailed as he rose back to standing position. he moved his hand off of Arin as swiftly as he could and ripped the gauntlets form his posterior. he then moved his hand back to holding Arin, and attempted to continue to follow the blinking lights, ignoring the pain.

Zyke opens his eyes, unable to relax or rest from the energy of the fight still so fresh in his body. He gets up and walks outside into the hall to see Lite struggling to carry Arin while adjusting to the increased gravity. Zyke goes over to Lite and takes Arin from him, "Sorry, but we can't be prolonging her from her recovery while you get used to the gravity change." Zyke takes Arin to the Med-bay, placing her into one of the bacta tanks, setting it to start the recovery process for Arin. Zyke left the Med-bay and looked to Lite again, saying, "If you want to train once you've grown accustomed to the weight, then come see me." Zyke turn and walks back into his room, preparing himself for the brutal training he was about to put himself through.

Zyke walked into the center of his room and centered himself. He was determined that it was now time for him to begin to train his Ki. He needed to learn to control and harness his Ki, as well as make it greater. His physical prowess was well past proficient for his level of power, but it's over overwhelming difference over his Ki was making for a great unbalance in his power. He stood still and raised both hands up to in front of his chest, hands open and fingers spread and curled in slightly to form a sort of cage in front of him that he was pouring his Ki into, trying to focus it into a ball.

Zyke's excitement grew as a ball of chromatic appearing ki formed in his hands with surprisingly little effort. He held the ball over the palm of one hand and readied for a throw. Zyke planned to try to launch the orb and have it fly along the edge of the room. His arm was cocked back, palm facing forward with the orb floating in front of it. Zyke thrust his arm forward, using his Ki to propel the orb forward like a bullet out of a gun.

Zyke smiled as the ball launched forward in an almost arrow-like form, flying all the way around the room, coming full 360% back at Zyke. Zyke instinctively dodged the attack, cursing at himself for being stupid enough to forget that the blast would come back at him at it's projected course. The orb continued to go about it's rotation around the room, Zyke having side-stepped away to be out of it's projected path. Zyke grew tired of watching it fly in circles around the room so he focused another shot in his hand and launched it into a counter path to the current blast's, setting them on a direct collision course for each other. The two orbs collided with a blast the illuminated Zyke's room. Zyke decided that he must train with this skill further, So he exited his room and made his way to the training room to get in some practical target practice.
He walked into the room and immediately asked for target dummies from Alice. Four targets came up from the floor at about 50 yards away from Zyke. It was a remarkable test for his marksmanship, but it would suffice for training in the utilization of his new technique.
Zyke charged a shot in each hand and prepared to take out two of the dummies in the first volley.

Zyke launched his two shots at the two of the dummies, the shots hitting their targets spot on, taking off good chunks from the dummies respectively. Zyke prepared two more and launched them at the remaining two dummies, the shots hitting their marks, blowing pieces off of them. Zyke was now pleased with his control and application of the technique, but he wasn't satisfied with how slow it was to him, he needed it to be more natural to him, so he could throw volleys of shots at a moments notice in the heat of battle.
Zyke asked for Alice to call in two of the combat droids for him to fight, and to set them on full defense alert, set them to consider Zyke a full intruder and attack to kill.
Alice complied and two droids came in from a door at the back of the room, their systems at full alert and their weapons primed. Zyke took up a stance and prepared to fight for his life against them.

Zyke charged shot from the get-go and selected his target. He was going to destroy both of his opponents without relying on his physical prowess and using only his Ki to attack them. Zyke jumped into the air as the droids started to come at him, flipping in mid-air and shooting the two shot down at Droid 1 from above. The shots flew like arrows down at their target. He charged two more shots and launched them down at the Droid following the other two, and he ended the chain with one last volley descending down on the Droid.

Five of the shot hit the Droid spot on, each dealing considerable damage to the Droids structure, but not dealing any real damage to it's core systems. Zyke landed between the two droids, the droids taking advantage of this to attack at Zyke. They each threw swings at Zyke while he was in melee range, which he wasn't for long. He back-flipped away from the droids as soon as he landed, trying to get his advantage of distance over them again. He stopped in a position ready to launch more shots at his target. He charged up his Ki and launched a barrage of shots at the already damaged Droid, hoping to put it down this time.

The first Droid fell into metallic bits, as the shots each hit their mark. Zyke didn't stop to appreciate his victory over the one droid, because there was another perfectly good one already on the attack at him. The final Droid charges forward, throwing a hydraulic-powered swing at Zyke. Zyke attempts to spin out of the way of the attack from the Droid, and lands to launch another volley of Ki shots at his last opponent.

Zyke's speed proved too great for the Droid, as Zyke easily spun away from the Droid's attack and landed, his own Ki volley finding their marks just as Zyke had wanted.

The Droid took a fair amount of damage from the volley of attacks that Zyke had launched. The Droid, not feeling pain or fear, didn't falter though, and resumed it's assault on Zyke. Zyke swayed and swerved his way around the Droids melee swings, his speed proving it's worth again. Zyke didn't even bother getting his range back this time, he launched his entire volley of ki shots straight into the Droids chest, wanting to get this battle done and over with so he could resume to more training.
