That was a refernce for Pale. Our old rpg thread "Things Fall Apart" literally did for similar reasons.
Wedsday continued to stand there, until the silence was murder. Pale had told him yesterday night that Ultima had a fiance, he wanted to sink into the ground when he heard about it. "Kill me off?" a question and a suggestion.

Tsubasa walked out slowly as everyone left, and silently started to walk through the wilderness and back to his 'room' at the men's dorm, perhaps he'd beat his stuff out of Jay today...

Rei arrived in the arena and stood in its center, waiting for Pale to arrive. "Hmm, maybe going all those years without traing was a bad idea..." she chuckled to herself.

Pale floated in through the hole in the wall she had made with her earlier match to Tsubasa, the adrenaline was already starting to run through her. "You're the new one, make your first move." she said as she landed, the air still swirling around her.

Nodding slightly, Rei charged at Pale, using her demonic speed, and slashied at her stomach. Her nails had grown at least three inches in length and her eyes turned orange.

Pale put up a quick burt of wind over her abdomen, deciding she should treat Rei as if she were Tsubasa. She swung with her left hand as a huge gust trageted for Rei's back shot out.

Fight is paused
Pale was getting sleepy, so she paused the fight and went to the bleachers for some last bits of popcorn.

Aes appeared from out of the shadows, having walked all the way from his practice to the stadium. "Mistress Pale? Is that you?"

Surprised, she turned around and smiled. "Yeah, that it be! I'm seeing what leftovers Wedsday might have left here...not sure where he's been lately."

'Tsubasa took me there a while ago, it was really nice." her eyes lit up at the thought, it was one of her best memories with Tsubasa.

"He's not here now. Why not come to the inn for a quick bite? There's no one else up, and I could use the company." Aes said casually, smiling "Most of the stuff there our manager took from the tavern's stores anyway."
