"what are you doi- AGH!"
Kiki shrieked as the girl grabbed her arm, and she and her began to fall to the ground.
"NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" Kiki yelled, hoisting a treebranch, and hoping the girl would let go of her other arm.
Kiki glared at her.
"As soon as I get back on the ground, I'm going to hurt you so badly that-"
Before Kiki could even finish her sentence, a greyish-orange blurb whizzed past, scooping Kiki from the clutches of Rat, and Off into the forest.
Headphones and all.

Rat fell to the branch, and almost fell off. When the girl glanced over and saw the retreating blur of motion, she pointed a finger after it, and said, "Fetch."
Then, out of the nearest tree, sped a greenish-bluish wisp of what seemed to be smoke, intangible and passing through trees, racing along at high speed after the (presumed) monkey, and not troubled by having to go around trees or find perches as well.

{ How does she manage to do that with a fire power? Is it actually just a blob of smoke that can somehow move at miraculous speeds against the turbulent current in which they are travelling? }

The giant samurai- like figure of the giant monkey traveled with much more speed and agility than Kiki could ever possess.
It occasionally looked back to see the Grey-smoke like blob following suit.
Kal, or Odemunk looked back.
"You little snit, Angeleke!
The young girl just rolled her eyes from the shoulder she actually sat on in a princess-like fashion. This made running a lot harder for him, but it didn't really matter.
Odemunk jumped down into a pile of leaves, cushioning the fall, and swung himself around to face the chaser.
Of course he easily threw Kiki off of his shoulder and into a bush.
Kiki made a face at the old man, who always hated her getting into fights.
She climbed up into a tree again and listened to the headphones once more as she casually sauntered off, walking daintily on the trees with her little shoe-clad feet tappping in rhythm on the bark.
She let the old man settle the fight.

The shadow passed right through Kal, offering no resistance, and turned sharply to missile itself directly at Kiki.

"This is just great," Rat muttered, tromping along the forest floor. She felt herself beginning to smolder, so counted to thirteen to calm down. To catch fire completely was not what she needed at the moment.
As they wandered farther away from Gagazth (or was it... closer?), the air began to change. If they were going farther out side of the forest, the power of each Guarded's magic diminished. As they went closer to the icy center of Ether, magic began to grow stronger.
Either way, the feeling was somewhat nauseous to all Guarded, until they completed the regional transition. Guardians felt no difference.

Maybe for the others the magic began to change, but for Kiki, she felt a chill, and turned directly back into the other direction for the warmth of the tropical-ish forest.
With a smirk upon her cheeky face she swung, dodged, dipped , fell, and dived away from the ghostly thing chasing her. Maybe Odemunk was too weak with age. But Kiki stopped suddenly.
She had to stick her arms out to regain her balance, but she no longer felt as energized as she did.
She wasn't too hungry or thirsty, but she needed to bathe later.
Kiki looked down to the girl who was now directly below her.
Taking a nice even place to sit and ignoring the ghost charging at her-
Kiki dropped the little music device on her head.
It was silent now, and thus no good to her.
{no electrical outlets in a forest >D Muahaha! except for Kiki, that is, but..
MUHAHAHAHA *cough* }

Rat glanced up. "Oh, great," she said, exasperated, as she quickly put the musical device away. "You drained the batteries. How did you do that!? Did you just... sap all the energy from them, or what? They were fully charged!"
Rat shook her head and began to stop talking once again. She didn't even glance up, just started walking.
Nipp, the floating ghost-like creature, drifted down, now, and paused in front of Rat to point off in a perpendicular direction.
Rat stopped and blinked. "Oh. Right, Nipp." Then Rat turned and began to walk in the correct direction that would lead her to the river Naan and, after that, farther from the center.

((XD It's allowed. ALTHOUGH. Kaye was a little miffy on the detail that Guarded running into other Guarded on Earth was very rare... meetings are more common in the Ether since, well, the only humans there ARE Guarded.
What's our group total? Shef, Falian, Holly, Butterfly girl... yeah. No more Guarded meeting up with them until and unless they go to Ether, okay?))

I simply have no life, that's why I go to bed before 1 on Spring Break.

I was GOING to make a feline..
but..you just had to swoop in. >_> Ah well, I can get crafty. }
"Most probably."
She mused.
Without another word Kiki skipped off leaving only the faint sound of a few leaves being rustled together. She needed to go find some other form of entertainment,
and possibly a swim.
Odemunk just shrugged, already back in his little tree hut eating a very nice fruit salad. Oh- and studying various tomes and texts, novels and such in his er...study.
