Ten minutes?! She hadn't been prepared for it to happen that quickly and began to sweat just thinking about it. Tugging at the collar of her dress, she fastened the decorative cape and settled her circlet into place then stood by his side. He was doing quite a good job, wasn't he? But she was still hot. Pressing her palms to her cheeks, she felt the heat settled in them. "Yes, love." Clearing her throat, she let out a completely inappropriate laugh and shook her head.

"I'd like to apologize for my inappropriate behavior earlier today. I acted like a spoiled child intent on getting her own way." Oh, there was another half giggle. "I...I also want you to k-know...that I support Glynnic in his support of you and I love you as much as I love my own people. It shall not be a war between us for our king's affection." Dear Rinc Kier...she needed her fan. "I want us to belong...I mean get along..." Another giggle bubbled forth and her cheeks flamed all the brighter.

"Yes, but your mama is also very stubborn and doesn't always admit when she does need that help. That's why it's up to you to keep an eye on her and step in when she can't handle it. Don't worry if you don't know when those times are, Nillrik. You'll learn as you get older." He let his eyes slide up so he was sort of looking at the child and chuckled. "You mean you don't get in as much trouble as I did when I was your age? I'm not so sure I believe that, Nilli."

While she was getting hot and giggly like as she was giving her half, he started feeling funny himself and watching her more intently, getting his own warm feeling. A blink as another one of her giggles snapped him out of it a few seconds and he realized something. Crap, she just got flushed and giggly didn't she? Time to bail this whole thing out.

"It's important that everyone rememebrs that no matter what is happening, that no one will be abandoned, forgotten, or looked over in light of other things. Things are changing in Andal, and rather than fear it with uncertainty, we should embrace it with security." Putting in three minutes of happy smiling face time and what not as people took the hint and dispersed and he plopped an arm around her shoulders and lead her back inside. "You feeling alright?"

"I've learned pretty good already." Which he was proud of, and it was nice to have someone telling him that he was doing a good job and would only do better as he got older. But he did give a laugh and tug at Kyst's ears. "Okay, I'm not in trouble most of the time. Better?"

She was seriously blowing this speech and as words kept tumbling out of her mouth at a frantic pace, she realized that she just didn't care. Her body felt like a furnace that had been left on warm for too long. Stripping off her cape and loosening the laces of her overtunic, she took the fan a servant brought her and vigorously whapped it in the direction of her face. "Sure." Giggle. "Fine. The people think I'm an idiot but that's okay." Looping an arm around his waist and leaning against him, she gazed up at him with bright eyes and flushed cheeks and giggled once more. "As long as you don't, right?"

"Look at you, already knowing more than I thought. I think someone's getting a little cocky...and you know the remedy for cockiness, don't you?" Giving a chuckle and then reaching back and tickling at the child's sides before tugging him off and tossing him to the mercy of the waves.

Time Change: Seven Days

Galesen came out of his reverie with a jolt, a small gasp escaping his lips as his mind flooded him with the memories of what happened at the tournament. Though he quickly looked down at his arms and noticed that they were fine, he checked himself and noticed his body had adjusted to the power increase he had been given somehow which he was thankful for that.

Still, as he flexed his hands Galesen couldn't believe what had happened; it was the six day of the tournament and he had made his way through the roster of fighters and was going to fight his second last opponent. The man's name was Aldair he was a well trained fighter from the Arch kingdom, Galesen had fought against him a few times before so they knew each other well enough. The problem was out of all the times he had to get a power boost he had to get it during the fight, though Galesen believed that would be small like the other ones were before and so he could control it while fighting, but he was unprepared for the boost to actually be pretty big. So while he was fighting Galesen tried his best to keep his magic suppressed, but that cleaved his attention into two and Aldair knew it, so the man took advantage of it putting Galesen on the defensive. Galesen did thought about calling it quits to spare himself and Aldair but he found himself being able to control it the harder he focused his mind on the battle, allowing his magic to slip out and be used so that way it wouldn't be built up. The problem was he could only let so much out at a time at risk of letting it out all at once, but he knew if he were to end the battle quickly everything would be fine. Still, Aldair was a really good swordsman and when Galesen went to strike him Aldair was able to dodge and and strike him hard in the chest, knocking Galesen off balance and and making him hit his head hard on the ground. With that hard tap to the head Galesen lost his focus and felt his magic being released, and with all of his energy being released so quickly he could not help but pass out.

Though at the present moment Galesen was still staring at his hands, and had to wonder just what the hell happened after he passed out. The only thing he could remember was any memories from the past until he woke up, so now realizing what had happened he hoped Aldair was alright. "Is anyone here?" Well he was alone, he had to guess they were being careful with him.

"You are a very lucky little elf, did you know that?" The soft male voice filling the voice of silence that was with Galesen, hands bracing on the elf's shoulders and pushing him back down to the cot he was on. The tell tale sounds of flint being struck before a lantern lit lightly beside Galsen, shedding light on the two of them. "Always were one for dramatics, weren't you Galesen." The light showing his company to be Luccaydyn. He may be a royal in training, but him and his mother were taking care of tournament cleric duties this year.

"Whoa, did you see that, Nil?" Pointing to an elf flying through the air as a result of his attacker's magical attack. He'd decided at the last minute to come watch the tournament and had run into Isle and Nillrik. An invitation to sit with them and his butt was plopped in between Isle and her son, watching the elves on the field go at it. 'Who do you think's going to win?"

One tent over Lhia sat holding Vale's hand and praying he'd wake up. He'd taken that last hit pretty hard, the other elf disqualifying himself with an illegal tipped arrow. The cleric had seen him but wouldn't really tell her anything. So now she had to wait. And worry.

Of course the tournament hadn’t been stopped on account of Galesen, even if his whole situation had been odd to begin with. It was tournament, such things happened. So she was trying to not worry to much, nor be in the way by constantly checking on him. Let clerics do their jobs and what not.

He was busy being loud and rowdy, after being assured that Galesen was okay and every other elf who was getting themselves bashed up. Tournament was exciting! He had climbed up on Kyst’s shoulders, sitting there to get a higher vantage over the adults around them. “I’m gonna be able to do that one day too!” Giving another peel of laughter in his joy, “Umm…that one.” Pointing to the dark haired mage. “He’s not even tired yet.”

His breathing had steadied out, what with care from Lady Arrowood herself but he was still resting. Valeessen had been competing in the tournaments for a few years, but he had recently stepped up in the levels and his brigade mindset had left him off guard this time. Tournament wasn’t about level respect, it was about doing your best and he had forgotten that. Of course he didn’t know the seriousness of the situation, just that he had let his guard down.

A groan from him accompanied by a frown signaled that he was coming up out of his coma like state he had been knocked into. He blinked at Lhia in dazed like state as he let his head loll to the side. “Mother…”

"Really? How come?" And Galesen easily knew whose voice that was, it was nice to hear Luccaydyn's voice again even though he head heard him for the past week, it meant nothing was wrong with his head. Still, when he was pushed back down onto his cot he made a small noise. "I'm fine." Though he blinked when he suddenly saw some light coming from a lamp. "Maybe, but this year I wasn't trying for anything actually." A small sigh from the elf before he closed his eyes. "How's Aldair?"

"As long as you practice and work at it." He watched another nasty blow, holding onto the small elf's knees so he didn't fall back in excitement. "But that one over there is stronger." Gesturing to a blond mage who had been throwing out fireballs and such. "I'll bet you a piece of steel that my guy wins over yours. Deal?"

She was up in a flash, gently sponging off his brow and squeezing his hand. "I'm right here." Checking over him one more time to make sure he really was going to be okay, she gently cradled his hand against her cheek. "Oh Vale, I thought I'd lost you. I told you not to compete in this silly thing."

"Because you've been out for a day and took some magical backlash pretty hard. That and you were frosty. Never a good thing." Flicking Galesen's nose in typical Luccan gesture. "You're fine when I say you're fine and not a moment before." Sighing, "He's as okay as he can be. Alive if anything. He'll recover, it will just take some time. You know, if you can't handle your magic you should not be using it."

Nillrik quickly began to pat himself down, looking for a piece of steal and after rummaging in his pockets for a good few seconds, he made a noise of victory before danging a rather valuable crystal in front of the sea elf. How he got it, was anyone's guess. "And I bet my crystal against your steel that mine is gonna win. Doesn't matter if you're is stronger, he'll get tired faster from being on the offense." Smarter than he looked.

He merely gave her a slightly goofy off kilter smile. After all, cheating sucked and being put down sucked too. But he felt he did his best, despite forgetting the spirit of competition. "I wanted to try. But I forgot to not be part of Brigade."

Galesen gave an odd look when he was told he was out for a day, he didn't expect to have been put out for that long so it worried him. "Really? Well it must of been odd to handle me, I mean I can't tell when my hands get cold but you guys certainly will." Though he had to wonder if his skin turned blue, it would be odd but he thought that would be pretty cool. Another small noise from Galesen though when his noise was flicked before grabbing it and looking at Luccan with a small glare, he then pushed the elf a little before he rested fully on the cot in answer to his statement. Though when he heard Aldair was going to be alright Galesen sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. "That's good to know, he probably will be cold for awhile though." Still he was worried, after all he could of killed the man by accident so he was worried about what could happen now that everything that did happen well happened. A look to Lucien and he just stared at the elf before giving a small sigh. "I can, it's just been acting odd lately for the past...thirteen years or so..." And saying that reminded Galesen to talk to Kieran, though at the moment he had the thought the man was enjoying the tournament. "What...happened really?" He needed to know, he would be able to rest better if he was told what had happened when he blacked out.

Luccan rolled his eyes at Galesen's protesting. "Not really." Busying himself away from Galesen for the time being, the familiar clank of vials and what not being most of the noise that was heard. "Magic can do wonders and my mother tended to him. He'll be fine, it will just take some time. She didn't want to quick push anything." Turning a look over his shoulder to the other elf. "Long story short, you lost it. You went down, bad happened, he went down, a bit of crowd panic from being in range of said losing it, but it got handled. We dragged you all off the field and well here you are now." Holding over a vial, "Drink this."

A small sigh came from Galesen as he laid there on the cot, he had to wonder what he could do about all of this, maybe he needed some help after all, get someone to look into what was happening to him or something. "That's good to hear." He felt a wave of relief wash over him like the night tide and he couldn't help but smile just a little. A look to Luccan though and he blinked, was that it? Galesen wanted details really, he wanted to know what his magic did when he blacked out, maybe he could ask someone else later. "Alright." Though when the elf handed him a vial Galesen slowly sat up and took it from the man. He stared at the vial for a moment before downing what was in it then handed the empty vial back. "So was that suppose to help me get better?" He only asked because he wanted to know, simple curiosity really.

"Something like that. Mostly just to warm you up Body temperature is still a tad low and it makes me worry." Unlacing Galesen's tunic more than it was already and going about poking at his person, checking out basic things as well as any wounds he had had previously. Of course the man was still bruised up, seeing as he hadn't been more or less flash healed what with him being out of it and what not. "You probably shouldn't re-enter into tournament."

"Huh, I never noticed. Thanks Luccan." How the hell was his body temperature colder than normal? He felt the same way he did before he started the tourmanent really. Though Galesen blinked as Luccan undid his tunic and then began to poke at him with his fingers, which caused the elf on the cot to gasp a little and his body arched in reaction; aside from feeling him bug the bruises Luccan's fingers were soft and warm and they were touching him in a way which was nice when they weren't on the bruises. "Hey...if you wanted me to warm up all you had to do was this." Smirking at Luccan with a slanted look before he gave a small nod. "Yes, I've been thinking that. There is always another time for me so I don't mind." Yeah the last thing he wanted to do was loose control of his magic again, even after realsing his magic his body was still getting some control over it even though there was no trouble now.
