Uh. You should check out the story, if you haven't already.
Also, you would need someone who already has the toad contract, to get it yourself.
Also, most crew, if not all, do not want Sage Mode to exist unless for some desperate reason...
Uh, yeah... just try to make your character reach Kage level at like 25 years old or something... then maybe they would let you have Sage Mode...
Naruto only learned Sage Mode and Fuuton: Rasengan because of his Kyuubi chakra and Kage Bushin... He shortened the time frame MASSIVELY.

The Eight Trigrams Seal is made to leak the Kyuubi's chakra and merge naturally with Naruto's chakra... hence why he has so much. And what do you mean by " as fast as he did"? He did it faster than Jiraiya because he used Kage Bushin. If he did it without Kage Bushin, Most people in Konoha would of been dead by the time he finished... He not only learned Sage Mode, he also learned the Frog Kata... His chakra control probably became that of a Kage once he MADE the Fuuton: Rasengan. So... [spoilerz] now that Naruto has complete control over the Kyuubi chakra, he probably could defeat all the Kages without any problems. [/spoilerz]

I'm pretty sure that even Sage mode was learned rather legit. When you say that he uses the Kyuubi's chakra, you are referring to when he turns all red and s**t, right? Because its only then that he is actually using the Kyuubi's chakra.
And yes, Naruto uses a clone to produce a Rasengan, but doesn't use them in the sense that he sped up his learning process. Naruto learned it just as everyone else did, but made a slight shortcut in terms of actual production.
When you say he ONLY learned it because of those two things, you're wrong. Both Sage mode and his Rasengan were learned WITHOUT the use of the Kyuubi chakra and WITHOUT the use of shadow clowns. Sure, he uses shadow clones to prolong the use of Sage mode and uses them to produce a rasengan, but they weren't used in learning either.
As far as Fuuton: Rasengan goes, you're right. I kind of mixed up Fuuton: Rasengan with the regular Rasengan. I refer to it as the Rasen-shuriken, so I confused myself. But you're right, learning the rasen-shuriken technique required both the Kyuubi's chakra and shadow clones.

READ and READ disadvantages... Naruto could not perfect anything without the shadow clone, and he could only do mass shadow clone because of the kyuubi. Rasengan = himself and shadow clone. Wind Release Training = Multiple Shadow Clones (Impossible without Bijuu Chakra, as Kakashi AND EVEN Hiruzen had trouble making more than two. Kakashi wasted half his chakra making the Lightning Shadow Clone) Fuuton: Rasengan = Shadow clone for Wind Chakra, Shadow Clone for Shape Transformation, Himself to hold technique. Fuuton: Rasenshuriken = Needs Sage Mode to throw. As I said, Naruto would be pathetic without the Kyuubi.

I didn't mean to start a match guys. Besides, I never actually meant that I wanted Sage mode. I simply wanted my character to be able to feel and use the chakra from all around him, like a sage does. I don't necessarily want him to all of a sudden go all uber.
Plus Qyp, Naruto is the son of Yondaime, who was supposed to be one of the greatest shinobi ever. I'm pretty sure that he would have been an awesome ninja, regardless.

In relativity to your question. Sage mode... If I had bothered, it would've been likely something belonging to the village...a Konoha Village Hijutsu. But...as it is too much trouble and there is indeed other, more important things to fix and do...
Like hell. I'm not going to bother. smile
Well...on another matter. Anyone is welcome to try and finish up Uchiha at a later point in time. I think it's safe to say though that most of us are out of ideas at this time, or plainly there's just no way to balance the last three techniques.
And as for your other point. Well...the only clan able to use natural chakra directly is Senju. And since natural chakra=/=human chakra...when Naruto ran out of human chakra, Sage mode was thereby forced to end. Basically, otherwise, you're asking for something you can't use unless converted to Sage chakra, thereby impossible without Sage training. Unless being a statue is very attractive...

@J3sus: Sorry, I have no idea what sage mode is apart from "Naruto looks like a frog". I wasn't paying very much attention during that arc. I'm afraid I can't help you there. sweatdrop Maybe when I'm feeling more awake I can read up on it. But can your character be expressed in a simpler way, something that doesn't need sage mode? Maybe it's just a personal ability. Or something..?

Long story made short...Sage mode is when Naruto grows make-up and replicates giant high-speed Ransengans. >_>

On a different note, what are the chances of a clan that can absorb another person's chakra by physical touch happening?
On another side note, will it be impossible for a person to make a contract with dragons?

The ability you mention in the second paragraph is a technique, it's the "Chakra kyuuin Jutsu".
You'd have to create the summons yourself. I did RP with dragons for a while but it was a very short term mission NPCs thing a long time ago. It's possible. wink
