I still work with owls these days, but under much more controlled circumstances. There are no owls flying through the hospital, and gods help us if there ever are.^_^'

Here's a picture of a screech owl we saw a few months back- he got his foot caught in a henhouse door.^_~ He's lucky the farmer was forgiving enough to bring him in to a wildlife rescue group.

He's still a little groggy from the anesthesia in that picture. But it didn't take him too long to snap back to full awareness once he spotted the camera.^_^

Owls are such interesting creatures. Many people think they are frightening or boring; I've seen a few in my time, and they can be quite cute and full of personality. heart

With these images, one can clearly see a circle/ring of mushrooms and taller/darker grass.

They normally appear in fields and pairees(sp?). My house was built on a field, so now it's in our front lawn.
