"As smooth a salesman as you seem to think yourself, you can't sell me on this one, Crow," Jes said, apparently refusing to spare a second thought about the Bount's proposition. The idea of a partnership with the Bounts was detestable in Jes's eyes. By her estimations, Ky never offered alliance unless there was quite a lot for him to gain. Although he had offered shares in whatever he harvested from the alchemical power below Las Noches, Jes wasn't fooled for a minute. It was genuinely possible that there were significant gains from this endeavor, but, in Jes's opinion, the costs far outweiged any such profits.
Ky alone knew how to harness alchemical energy, so the source beneath Las Noches was entirely useless for Jes's own designs. Allowing Ky access to the energy would give him the opportunity to make leaps and bounds in his own personal power, and Jes wasn't foolish enough to give him such a chance. Moreover, any percieved "benefits" that trickled down to Las Noches seemed too much like hand-outs. This alliance would effectively put Las Noches under the Bount's thrall, and the arrancar would be weakened by developing a dependence on whatever power Ky and the Bounts saw fit to give them. Worse, Ky would potentially be able to use the relationship as a bargaining chip-- if the arrancar didn't dance to his tune, he'd withdraw his support and halt the flow of alchemical profits. Becoming Ky's puppets did appeal to Jes in the slightest. She much preferred to remain an independent faction.
"You're deluding yourself if you think I'd let you drill into the belly of Las Noches just to get at a new source of power that you alone can use," She continued, face absolutely emotionless. "I believe you have grown too attached to the idea that you may come and go as you please. This may have been true under Feiy's rule, but it is not the case under mine. You are... encouraged... to return to Earth where, like all humans despoiling their planet, you may drill to your heart's content,"

Ky shook his head at Jes' attempts to play it rough and make it harder for him to strike a deal, though he did it with a smile since the feeling that made him want to shake his head was more of amusement than that of exasperation. It was exactly the kind of challenge Ky wanted and from a woman her caliber no less. "You drive a hard bargain, Jes. I see Las Noches finally grew itself a brain when you and Temor assumed the throne, though your predecessor was no slouch herself," said Ky, indirectly complimenting Jes in his usual way. "If you continue playing hard to get, I might actually fall for you."
Ky's little muse shortly gave way to a rebuttal to the Espada's last remark. It was quick, but calculated. Ky wanted to show a bit of pushy aggression that made businessmen get the deal even from the hardest of clients. That was how he treated Las Noches, a very important client that would be a big help in furthering Ky's interests and it was why he was exerting so much effort into getting them to cooperate with him.
"Well, if you're that concerned with me getting all the power, how about we do this instead? Since your main concern is that you assume that I would monopolize such power, then how about I create an arrancar who can use alchemical power as well. It's not really that hard since I've already done it with the Jagers. What's fiddling with the process a bit to create an alchemy-capable arrancar rather than a Jager?"
His offer was something Jes had to take into account. Not only was Ky giving Las Noches the opportunity to utilize alchemical power , he was also giving them an arrancar capable of feats of alchemy, technically a new breed of arrancar to sum it up in simpler terms.
"Oh, and just to respond to your other remark, not all human beings are that crazy of drilling holes into the planet like a red light district whore. You may be right about one thing though, I like to drill to my hearts content, though I would rather drill on a different kind of hole. I'd like to show you what I mean, though I think that I would have a harder time getting your permission for that than I am right now, hehehe," chuckled Ky as his lips formed a naughty little grin, but even though he was getting playful, he still made it a point to maintain eye contact with the Espada to show her that he was still paying attention to her. In a twisted kind of way Ky was enjoying his chat with Jes and awaited her response. He didn't want it to end just yet.

"I don't assume, Ky," Jes corrected him. "I make it my business to understand a person's character. You would not offer this merger unless your Bounts would make a substantial gain. We are two very different factions with two very different aims. Our alliances are fluid at best, and the minute things go south, this deal goes sour for all involved. You know as well as I that an alchemy-wielding arrancar is a stopgap measure at best. You are still the only alchemical master to date, and we both know it. Whatever Las Noches stands to gain from tapping into this power, you would gain several times over. If you'll allow me to be frank, I'm unwilling to help you gain that power,"
Jes couldn't deny the amusement she derived from speaking with Ky. He knew he was a slick businessman, and he made no effort to hide it. Although the idea of an alchemy-wielding arrancar was intriguing, Jes had several misgivings. Ky had already stolen the Hogyoku-- practically from Feiy's corpse-- and used it to power his little science project, the Jagers. In their creation, he must had gained vast quantities of information about the workings of the Hogyoku, and his success in his work suggested that he had the skill to apply these findings. As such, Jes had no guarantee that he would not tamper with the creation of an arrancar. There was the possibility that he could create an arrancar who could use alchemy, Jes had little doubt, but there was also the distinct worry that Ky would tamper with the creation in other ways. He could instill it with a loyalty complex to the Bounts, give in a self-destruct complex that would backfire in the arrancars' face should their relations take a less than friendly turn. Jes wasn't about to open herself to such vulnerability.
"I'm sorry," Jes didn't really sound sorry at all. Rather, her tone, as usual, held very little inflection. "But, at present, I'm turning your offer down. Come back to the table with better terms, and I might reconsider," She did condescend to smile slightly, now. "As for your other suggestion-- I'm not sure you could handle me. Dead leaders make for nasty incidents between factions, and we wouldn't want dear Ky, the little Bount Prince, to die unexpectedly, now would we?"

With Jes' reply, Ky raised his left hand and extended his left index finger. Putting his finger closer to his lip, Ky bit the outer cloth covering of the white glove that he wore on his hand and slowly pulled it out all the while he gave Las Noches' very own Karminrote Königin, literally meaning "Crimson Queen", a naughty look into her deep, red eyes. When Ky had finally finished revealing his bare left hand, he used it to take the glove from his mouth then spoke to respond to Jes afterward.
"You would be surprised at how much I would risk just to get what I want, my little Karminrote Königin. You should know that businessmen are used to risking everything just to get a deal, and that's just for normal businessmen, my dear. You're talking to one of the best, " exclaimed Ky, his voice so full of pure confidence that one would be able to easily mistake it for senseless arrogance even though his overbearing sense of pride had the track record from the experiences he obtained from his centuries-long existence to back it up. The fact was Ky knew that he was one of the best businessmen, if not the best, that ever walked the earth and he wasn't afraid to flaunt it.
With an immediate shift in his body so fast that it wouldn't be a surprise if Jes would interpret it as a hostile action, Ky drew out his rapier from its sheath and whipped it about gracefully with a flick of his wrist, showing just how adept he was at handling such a weapon. Then, feigning a thrust, Ky extended his left hand at the same time he thrust his rapier and placed his index finger on the sword's sharp edge. Holding his hand in place, he only allowed his sword to move, making a cut on his index finger as he did so, before he flicked his wrist and diverted the rapier's pointed tip to reach Jes' person. Once he was done playing around, he gave her a smirk then sheathed the rapier back into its home. It had already done what Ky wanted to do with it and he didn't for the time being.
Ky could feel the droplets of blood drip down from his left index finger. It was a feeling that Ky hadn't experienced for quite some time now and he actually felt pleased that he was able to feel such a thing again, the feeling of physical pain. It was something that made him feel alive and human, a normal human, not a Bount. For a being without the concept of death, pain was the alternative equalizer. It didn't matter if you're rich or poor, you still feel pain the same way without exception be it physical or emotional.
Using his alchemical powers, Ky focused on transmuting the blood that came out of his index finger until it becomes a more solid, oval-shaped form. Being a master at his craft, it didn't take Ky long to do such a thing, a few seconds at most. He then tapped the tip of the now-solidified droplet to transmute a long silver chain by using the iron found within the blood. With a few other simple modifications, Ky was done. He had created a pendant literally acquired from his own blood and work which he immediately presented to Jes in the hopes of her accepting it. The cut from his finger began to heal itself at an incredible rate, thanks to Ky's alchemical powers, as he began to speak in order to explain what he had just done.
"Don't think of this as some sort of bribe to get you to go with my idea. It's your choice as to whether you accept this or not, though I hope you do. It matches your eyes, dearest Karminrote Königin."
Jes could think all she want and figure out where Ky was playing at with his sudden gesture that was unfitting of his person. Nobody expected it, but it was there and Jes herself can attest to that fact. The pendant shone with the dim light from the torches that lined outside the court's hallway that made the accessory even more appealing to a woman's eyes. They liked shiny things, and hopefully, Jes was the same.

[*is totally enamored of nickname* XD]
"I believe you have me confused with a magpie, Ky," Jes said, right eyebrow lifting ever so slightly at his offering. In defense of Ky's alchemical skills, the pendant was a lovely piece of work. There was absolutely no denying his mastery of alchemy, but this only served to highlight Jes's concerns about the use of the energies supposedly buried beneath Las Noches. If the man could craft a pendant from a drop of blood, there seemed no limit to his potential creations on a larger scale.
Jes understood only the most basic concepts behind alchemy. It was the principle of equivalent exchange that usually held the alchemist back from doing whatever they desired with the materials available to them. As such, they all generally searched for the "philosopher's stone"-- a source of unlimited alchemical energy. If she interpreted Ky's words correctly, the power beneath Las Noches would serve to make up for the power expenditure of alchemical transmutation on a mass scale without physical cost to the alchemist himself. Jes didn't trust Ky with such unlimited energy.
All the same, she was vaguely intrigued by the entire endeavor. She'd already turned him down twice, yet Ky was still attempting to sway her. Obviously, this venture was important to Ky, or he wouldn't press the matter. Jes knew she could use his interest to her advantage. Unlimited power such as the source Ky was after did not come without a hefty price on his part. Jes wanted more than what he'd offered, and now seemed like the ideal time to up the ante. If he accepted her terms, so much the better for Las Noches and Jes's aims, and if he didn't, she would have effectively chased him away. Both options appealed to her.
"It's clear that I can't entice you to leave without a display that might make future diplomatic relations... awkward, to say the least," Jes said, lifting the blood-red pendant with one, pale finger-- a signal that she was considering his offer. "But your buy price doesn't measure up to what you'll gain. We both know that. I want more than a cut of the alchemical profits. I want proof that this alchemical power is even beneath Las Noches. I want to know where you plan to drill, and I want my arrancar with you on every step of this project. The minute I find something wrong with your operation, I'm shutting it down-- by force, if necessary,"
She let the pendant drop back, and her eyes found Ky's, measuring the impact of her words on his demeanor. "You realize, of course, that these stipulations only apply if you meet-- or better-- my asking price. First, you will make me an arrancar capable of wielding alchemy. Until I'm satisfied with this arrancar's proficiency, you won't so much as scrape Las Noches's topsoil. Second--" Jes paused, wondering perhaps if she was pushing her luck. Still, if Ky agreed, it would prove his commitment to their alliance. "Second..." She actually smiled coldly. "I want you to bring me a shinigami. Now, before you get all excited, I don't want a captain or a vice captain. I want one of their precious little academy graduates-- fresh blood. They should show considerable latent power and potential, but they should be young enough that their disappearance will draw little or no attention. If you're worried about the repercussions, don't be. I'll have the youngling back to the Seireitei before too long, and they won't breath a word of their little adventure. That I can promise you,"
Jes's reasoning was simple. There were four or five active factions functioning within their world: the Shinigami, the Arrancar, the Bounts, the Quincies, and the Vaizards-- although the Vaizards could be trusted to side with the Shinigami during almost every conflict. As alliances stood, the Shinigami and Arrancar were--and would always be-- at odds. The Quincies, in Jes's mind, were nearly a non-entity. Their power had never been enough to contend with anything Las Noches had in its arsenal since Eme Boelba had been killed and became a Soul Reaper. The Bounts remained the only wild card power that showed potential.
Jes knew Ky had connections with the Seireitei, but the offer of this merger seemed a gesture of goodwill on his part. The creation of an alchemy-wielding arrancar would place them on more equal footing in terms of available weaponry. Delivering a shinigami into Jes's hands would demonstrate Ky's willingness to forge alliances against erstwhile affiliations. And, of course, unbeknownst to Ky, Jes already had an ally among the Bount ranks. If Ky brought a promising shinigami to Court, Jes would have the opportunity to establish the same bond she shared with Powchii-- a bond not so easily broken. By replacing that same shinigami in the Seireitei, she would have created a new-- though perhaps unwilling-- ally and spy within the shinigami ranks. That Ky would be the one to do her dirty work served to conceal her involvement in the matter. She was not one to make overt gestures of aggression until she had the upper hand in every respect. As of now, she knew she did not have the resources or firepower to contend with the entirety of the Seireitei, but this scheme was certainly a step in the right direction.
"So, how about it, Mein Herr?"
[*puff puff* Looong... Invovled... O_o' Sorry it's so damned lengthy. I was struck with sudden inspiration XD I really wanted to be the one who learned alchemy, but I'm afraid that'd make my character stupid-powerful, and that's never fair. As for the shinigami thing, it's an idea for an ongoing plot that could be really cool, but we'd have to find someone who's good at RPing and is genuinely interested in this. I know of only a few newbies who show promise, but I'm still stalking... uh, searching ^^]

((No need to apologize for something you worked hard on. In fact, I enjoyed reading your post and I wish to see more of it in the near future, especially if you become inspired again. I am also pleased to hear that you liked your new nickname, Jes. It suits you/her.))
Ky smirked seeing that he was finally able to convince Jes to come to terms, though he didn't expect it to go that smoothly or at all for that matter. In all honesty, when he presented that pendant, he didn't expect Jes' reaction to be of that sort, thinking that she would once again reject him and immediately categorize his actions as part of a scheme to get her to play his game, but for it to turn out in that manner was an unexpected, but completely welcomed, turn of events. Ky couldn't believe it himself and wanted to express himself in a manner totally unfitting of his character, but keeping with his image since he was still in the presence of his new business partner, his immense satisfaction was expressed through his smirk. It was the best he could do under the circumstances.
"You're a woman after my own heart, Jes, mein Karminrote Königin," said Ky, clutching the pendant she had dropped back onto his palm. "Okay then, I accept your terms, gladly, regardless with whatever ulterior motive you may have in mind concerning this merger. With that said, allow me the pleasure of sealing this deal formally. A contract is too simple, though I have something more...sincere, so to say, in mind."
With a quick step forward, Ky walked over to Jes and leaned in with the blood pendant still in his hand and placed it around her neck and fastened the lock. "Take this as a token of my thanks and as a reminder that I, upon my pride as a businessman, as a leader, and as a man of my word, that I shall abide by your conditions until you have deemed them complete. As such, during that time, I shall be spending my days here in Las Noches, so I hope you don't mind if I make myself at home."
The Bount leader smiled after he had said those words and kissed the pendant to show absolute sincerity in the words that he had uttered face-to-face with Jes. He was serious in his vow to stay in Las Noches, he wanted them to see that he wasn't pulling any strings and was even willing to work under their direct observation, meaning that they can see everything he does anytime they want. It was a complete risk on his part, but like Ky said before, even Jes would be surprised just how much he would risk to get what he wanted. In any good business partnership, trust was important. Ky wanted to show that he was someone who kept his word even though his reputation as a ruthless and emotionless utilitarian overpowers his good traits most of the time, but that was all part of the job.
"Well then, I shall get started on meeting your first condition seeing as it is the easiest. You said it yourself, and I quote: "you will make me an arrancar capable of wielding alchemy", correct? Let us begin training you then, but let's do it after I have finished with making a place for myself here," said Ky, playing around with the words and intentionally interpreting it as something that meant differently. Also, Ky thought that it was easiest to just train Jes into using alchemy than create an entirely new arrancar capable of such, though both methods were easy enough in Ky's case. However, Ky found training Jes to be the best choice among the two since it would eliminate any shred of doubt Jes had on Ky and, at the same time, it would also be in line with Ky's plan on building trust with his new business partner.
Walking to a nearby wall, Ky removed his French coat, his cravat, his long-sleeved red and white polo shirt and even his undershirt, and placed them on a marble clothes hanger he had transmuted from the floor, leaving the Bount leader's upper body bare save his strange-looking monocle and strange-looking hat. The finely toned muscles he had gained from training himself endlessly through the centuries were one of the things that stood out along with a few battle scars on his back. What was most apparent though was that Ky had an odd tattoo on the base of his neck, in between his shoulder blades, which resembled that of an eye. Aside from those mentioned, there was nothing wrong with Ky's body. As a matter of fact, he was ripped. The act of removing his upper body clothes seemed to be unnecessary, but in reality, it was something he needed to do lest he would risk them getting torn to shreds because of him exerting more power than he usually did.
"Begrenzer ausgabe. Release parameters at 30 of maximum power output."
The entire area overflowed with massive amounts of alchemical power as Ky began to show a fraction of his power. With his initial release, the ground shook for just a moment before he placed his hand squarely on the wall in front of him. The eye tattoo on Ky's back shone red with power and red lines soon spread all over Ky's body, bathing his muscular form in a bright crimson hue. Surges of alchemical energy roared out of the light and burrowed themselves into the wall thus beginning Ky's work of transmuting a part of the area to a place fit for him and his research. In all of this, Ky showed no signs of physical strain nor fatigue which was amazing considering the amount of power he had been exerting. To anyone outside of the Organization, this may seem like a baffling sight to behold, but to those who are a part of the Organization know the reason behind it. Ky had already created a Philosopher's Stone, several times even, long before his arrival and is one of the sources of his seemingly unlimited supply of alchemical energy, though the stone itself served only as something used to give Ky an edge by completely cutting himself off from the bounds of equivalent exchange. Everything else was still up to Ky and his skills.
((Why not have Jes become a Raven then? Not only will you be able to perform alchemy, you can limit your alchemical usage as well depending on your personal preferences, though that sort of thing will be tweaked according to Jes since, if you choose to become one, she would be a special case considering that you already have what it takes to become a Radiergummis.))

[Since that situation's been remedied, I'm gonna ignore that post, if that's ok, Kenji.]
Jes lifted a delicate eyebrow at Ky's antics, but decided not to comment on his display. In truth, his concessions pleased her. There was nothing she trusted more than what she could accomplish alone. That Ky was willing to teach her alchemy was a sign of extreme good faith on his part. The added abilities would only augment her already-appreciable power, and the fact that Ky was ready to teach her was certainly a sign of trust-- at least in the business sense of the word. From a military perspective, it was a dangerous gamble. He was effectively giving shiny new weapons to a faction that could turn against him as easily as it had allied with him. There was no true guarantee that Jes would not stab him in the back once she'd gained what she wanted from this merger.
All the same, as the deal stood, Jes was willing to ally herself with the Bounts at least temporarily. Such was her good humor that she didn't protest to Ky's uninvited creation of a Bount base adjoining her Court. If their relationship took a turn for the worse, she could dispose of it as easily as she had the marble column from earlier in their negotiations. Still, it suited her to allow its existence. It made Ky happy and, frankly, Jes was uninterested in housing the Bounts in her own domain.
Now that she was going to learn the art of alchemy, it was interesting to watch Ky at work. Although no such emotion appeared on her face, she was excited to begin this new training. She had gone so long without an intriguing project that she considered Ky's lessons as much a diversion as they were a necessity.
"If you're satisfied," She said lazily, though her eyes were alight, matching the bloody pendant at her neck. "I should like to know when we'll be starting these lessons of yours. And when you'll be delivering on the other aspects of our deal,"
[Sorry, but what's a Radiergummis...? I'm so alchemy-ignorant XD]

((It's not a term used in alchemy, it's the highest rank currently available in the Organization's hierarchy.))
A bead of sweat trickled down his face as Ky finished off the final part of his fortress in Las Noches. His muscular body glistened with the torchlight from outside the court's open doors, every inch and movement highlighted by the dim source of light that came into contact with it. It was hard work, but he was done. Finally, he had finished creating a base fit for his high standards. Ky was pleased with himself.
When all the transmutations, the loud and often blinding displays of alchemical power, and the shaking of the ground due to the earth beneath them being displaced with the creation of a huge structure, a fortress now stood, connected by a large hallway from where he stood. It had thick walls that made entry from the outside extremely difficult, an intimidating building design reminiscent of those old Romanian castles popularized in horror movies, and what's more, it was just a few steps away from Jes' domain. That alone meant that Jes herself would be acting as the first line of defense since most people would have to pass through her domain to get to the fortress.
The location was absolutely perfect, though Ky, always thinking ahead, wanted to make sure that he didn't rely on Jes too much. She may be powerful, but sometimes even the most powerful of beings find themselves face-to-face with someone or something that would shake their very beliefs and turned their world upside-down. When that happens, Ky wanted to make sure that whatever does get past Jes would have one hell of a time getting past any further. That aside, Ky still had to name his newly-built fortress. For him, it didn't just have to look intimidating, it needs to sound intimidating too.
He smiled.
"Fort Enbrasse."
The words escaped his lips as a small murmur that only he himself could hear. Fort Enbrasse, it had a nice ring to it, or so Ky thought. The name itself, "enbrasse", is derived from several words rolled into one. It was only fitting since, in a way, the combination of different words to form one name was somewhat related to two different factions merging to achieve a single goal.
Turning back to Jes, Ky gave her a satisfied look, but he didn't smile. Although her facial expression was still as dead as ever, her way of speaking strongly indicated that she was very excited to learn the alchemical arts. Her eyes, too, gave her away as it twinkled in the torchlight. With such an eager student, the teacher in Ky felt happy. However, as with any good teacher, he needed some time to prepare for the lessons ahead. Thus, he needed time.
"Come by after a day or two. I'll probably be finished setting up by then," he said and started making his way towards his new fortress as his footsteps echoed throughout the halls which connected to the court to the fortress.
"Oh, and if you feel an surge of tremendous energy coming from my direction...don't come. Feel free to observe, but don't come unless...," he paused for a bit, stopping in his tracks. However, this happened for but a second until he continued walking.
"Never mind. Do as you please."
((I'll be skipping it to a day when I post in Fort Enbrasse. Come by whenever you feel like it, Jes.))

Powchii's entrance was noted by the same faint sound of thunder. . . He collapsed to the ground and a small amount of blood trickled from his mouth, "Gotta pull it together, in this state I'm nothing more than a meal to Jes." he mumbled as he stood to his knees. After regaining his composure he stood up completely and took a few deep breathes. . . Breathe. . . he took one final deep breathe and exhaled it slowly. After a few moments of silence in the dark he raised his spiritual pressure a bit to light up his surroundings.
Once things came into contrast he called for Jes. He tenderly called her name trying not to show any sign of problems, but he knew problems were all he had to discuss with her.

"If you insist upon damaging yourself, you are of no use to me, Powchii," Jes arrived a short time after her name had been called. The Shadow that always accompanied her encroached on the light Powchii emitted, casting the area into a dim half-light. She reached out long, pale fingers and grasped his chin, tilting his head this way and that, assessing the damage he had managed to inflict upon himself.
He was putting up a strong front, but their bond was such that she could detect his injuries. Shadows gathered in her hand, slithered and twining into a single, dark mass as black as pitch. She pressed the same hand to his chest, directly over the hole left by the absence of the Shinyogo. The Shadows flowed into his chest, easing the strain on his body and stealing away the pain which Jes quickly consumed.
"You've done as I asked?" Jes prompted, removing her hand. She already knew he had managed to implant Aislinn with her energy. She could feel the tenuous link established. The girl was most vulnerable in dream and Jes had already been testing their connection. Still, Powchii seemed to have news of which she was not aware.

((??? Why'd your post go to the top? lol. . . Well I'm glad you're feeling better.))
He winced as the shadows filled the empty cavity in his chest, the pain was replaced with warmth. "It's not like I run around damaging myself Jes," Powchii said shaking his head, "besides it happened doing what you asked me to." he paused shortly after, "Scratch that I don't want you to think I'm incompetent." he added with a sigh of annoyance.
After his short arguement with Jes he remembered that there was something more pressing that needed to be taken care of. "Jes, before I tell you Aislinn's current condition I would like to let you know that I'm not a healer. I'm a strategist, spy, and long distance fighter. . . Not a healer." he said healer with more emphasis. He took one more breathe then looked up at Jes, "The only way I know to heal people is through the Shinyogo, so that was how I healed Aislinn. Everything went perfect. . . untill we were noticed by two shinigami. I explained to Aislinn the basics of the Shinyogo, that while she healed she shouldn't exert herself." he was embarrased completely at how he carelessly let the Shinyogo be carried away with a pup like Aislinn. Shutting his eyes tightly he blurted out, "She needed such a large amount of it to heal, so I willingly gave it to her. She knows that I will need it back, but if it stays with her for to long her body will become reliant on it." he realized he never explained the Shinyogo in depth to Jes.

"You let our pup run away with the Shinyogo," Jes said, arching one thin eyebrow. She was not one to repeat simple ideas, but even she was taken aback by the turn of events. Nevertheless, she recovered quickly, re-ordering her short-term arrangements to incorporate the Shinyogo's recovery.
"Understand that I'm pleased you healed Aislinn. You did well by tainting her with your shadow, but I cannot have her dependent on this power of yours. I need both of you to be able to function independently," Jes continued. "Now, I don't quite understand all the mechanics of the Shinyogo. Perhaps you can enlighten me. First-- how did it serve to heal the pup? You say yourself you are no healer. Secondly, will its removal damage her? I know Nera left her quite broken, yet you seem to have restored her to perfect health. Will her injuries return with the Shinyogo's removal? And finally, you speak of dependency. I want her dependent on my power alone. How long do we have before she becomes reliant? I can't have that,"
Already, Jes was weighing the various plans of action she could take. She could retrieve the Shinyogo herself, thus allowing her to meet her soon-to-be shinigami servant for the first time. At the same time, her knowledge of the Shinyogo was such that its extraction seemed more of a job for Powchii. Moreover, her presence in the Seireitei would likely not go unnoticed. Perhaps now was as good a time as any to abscond with Aislinn altogether.

Powchii took a deep breathe, "Hm~" he chuckled a bit while shaking his head. "I could have attacked her Shinigami friend, would you have preffered that~?" he asked sarcastically.
"I understand Jes." he said more understanding, "I should have explained it's mechanics the day I joined you." he added with his head hung. "I'll start with the dependancy issue." he took a deep breathe and let every detail he recorded about it flow from his mouth, "Once it becomes part of a hosts body, the Shinyogo will settle in and do what it does best. Being pure energy it doubles the rate at which it's host body functions i.e.: healing and physical capabilities. It is useful for about one month before problems will begin to show. After awhile the body will become reliant on it that's when the Shinyogo will integrate itself into and become a part of the host's body. . . like an organ. This become a problem because as it doubles the rate at which your body functions it also wears it out." he shook his head, "As you've seen with me in the later stages the wear and tear become more apparent." he looked back up at Jes and took a deep breathe. He then pointed to the black hole in his chest, "Once it becomes a part of a host it can be removed, but it's like removing an organ from your body. If the whole thing is removed the host's body will eventually shut down entirely due to the reliance it developes on the Shinyogo." he took a deep breathe, "If it's removed from a host entirely then their death is certain." he said with a hint of sorrow.
He then turned his attention to her other question, "No, the removal will not damage her." he paused, "What happened is it snapped all of her bones back together then began a sealing proccess. In that stage it basically fortifies any changes to the body made when it was healed. Now if I removed it the second her bones snapped together they most likely would have fallen back out of place." he realized that the Shinyogo was powerful, but not without it's faults or backlashes.
