After thinking for a moment or two, Senritsu finalized herself on her thoughts of whether or not to continue on doing what Sukotto had given her now, or perhaps later. As long as she hadn’t finished what he’d given her, he couldn’t give her something else. Perhaps se can do a little something on her own while waiting for her ankle to feel better? It would make sense and the Uchiha male couldn’t argue that she couldn’t go on doing what he’d asked her to if she couldn’t even stand up correctly. There’d be no way in Shima she’d be able to stand on a foot that’s injured. Sitting up straight, her back popped, and she sighed in relief. All the moving she’d been doing that day was causing her back to stiffen up quite a bit. Perhaps if she was trained more in a physical sense, her body would be able to handle itself better. Not only in a battle against someone, but even when she was just sitting there, unmoving. Perhaps when she would be reading her book next time, her neck wouldn’t be in pain from looking down, or her back from slouching as she always did.
Mental Rambles Senritsu likes to think to herself about the oddest and simplest things at times. It doesn’t matter where she is, or what she’s doing, she always ends up thinking about things that are completely separate from her position. 1D20(1 cool + Int Mod(11) DC: 21 Train: 3/5

Shisei heard the words. Even though his mind understood what was happening his body was not quick enough to respond perfectly. His hands clapped together, but it was too late. The open palm hit Shisei’s fingers and pushed them back into his chest. This effectively pushed the boy back. His feet peddled away from the Uchiha almost falling off of his feet. The serpent youth managed to regain his balance and not fall. Little snake expected the male to try and peer him up with one of the females of this team. Fortunately he did not. Shisei preferred to train with the superior. For many reasons that his mind will leave us not knowing. It was probably the best anyway. One seemed to be hurt and the other was resting. As the amber eyes stared at the two female’s the one in scantily clad clothing appeared to be staring off into space of at Sukotto. Returning to his vertical stance the boy prepared himself for another assault. “Well then sempai. Hurry up and attack. I need more jutsu to learn.”

The Uchiha followed Shisei's eyes over to Senritsu and noticed that the training had seemed to have taken its toll on her, as he had expected it to. While he didn't necessarily like to see her hurt, he was happy to see that the training had finally caught up with the girl, as that was the point when the true learning and growth would begin. Even though Sukotto had known Senritsu the best out of the group, he felt as though she was still quite unpredictable, especially after she began training so much some time after the two had met. She had accomplished what took most other shinobi to do in less than half of the time and was still quickly catching up to the higher ranking ninja. Forcing himself back into the situation that was at hand, the chuunin smiled and nodded at the Orochi, and lunged at the boy with his opposite hand, aiming high at the serpent youth's head and quickly shuffling his feet towards the trainee. Sukotto moved quickly, but he was holding back a little to give the boy a chance to execute the jutsu, as he knew how difficult it was to form hand seals, manipulate chakra, and concentrate on what you wanted to switch places with while you were under assault, in the heat of the moment during a battle or even training session.

[sorry about that. I lost inspiration last night sweatdrop ]
The gold eyes saw the assault towards his head. Yet even now he felt as if his body was not responding as it should. The attack hit him across the forehead as the senior’s foot shuffle nearly tripped him. Shisei moved back a little surprised at his own action. “Grr!..” his voice grumbled as the small frame reeled back. Why had he not been able to dodge? Why did his body feel so lethargic all of a sudden? It hadn’t been there before… or had it? “You know you shouldn’t push yourself too far or else you’ll end up like you did before.” Kanami’s voice rang out in his head like a reminder. That’s when the boy realized. How long had he been going now? Last night with Yuki, this morning, this noon. All in his belly was some cake. Fatigue was beginning to wear on the serpent youth like a cheap robe. Shisei may have been reaching his limit, but he could not stop now. He was behind as it is to all the rest of the trash on island. If his body could not catch up… well then death maybe a better option. Refusing to listen to his body’s aches the child arched his brow down slightly looking at the chuunin. “Again.” his tone stated with a little more authority. Fatigue would be a harsh teacher today as the boy refused to let it make him quit.

After having effectively tagged the boy once again, Sukotto decided not to wait for him to be ready enough to request the next attack to happen, so he quickly formed a bunshin to continue his training, and then immediately launched his dormant palm at the boy's thigh, hoping that he would be able to focus on all parts of his body at once. While the attack was still swift, Sukotto felt himself lag a little, as his fatigue from training the entire day had finally managed to catch up with him. After running around and gathering all of the squad members, picking out training and giving instruction, and training in a lot of different exercises that nearly all required the use of chakra, the Uchiha had nearly bitten off more than he could have chewed. He knew that he'd need to recover his chakra to continue his genjutsu training, but he felt as though he was so close to being done with it, that he'd push himself just a little harder to try and get it done before he'd have to recover his chakra. Of course, the chuunin would begin the chakra restoration process after the training was complete, but he didn't want to delay his training at all, as that was something that was one of his most prominent pet peeves. His bunshins were becoming quite effective, and he was quite glad for this.

Kanami stated don’t push himself too hard. What a joke. So that he could remain behind? The bitter taste of the trash around him succeeding was like gagging on a piece of asbestos. Even now he found now pleasure in learning the original jutsu. Long ago he imagined learning his first jutsu would have been great joy. To finally reach that first step in his ambition. The first of a long conquest. Yet not anymore. Even after his first jutsu the boy did not acknowledge it. Even now learning this technique did not bring any joy. How would a ten year old feel finally learning how to read when everyone else learned such a skill six to eight years previous. It would be an embarrassment, which is what the serpent youth was doing now. A task of embarrassment. The next attack of Sukutto came before the boy could finish his sentence. Only a word was left in the air as Shisei had to act again. His fingers crossed and the chakra in his system boiled instantly. The maverick could not think of anything quick enough to use as a substitute. Well there was one thing that he could use. That large tessen would have multiple uses after all. As Sukutto’s attack came centimeters away from breaking skin and puff of smoke emerged rapidly and in the little purple haired boy’s place was the giant gold fan, spread open.

It wasn’t the best idea to begin with at the same time it could still be surprising. The giant fan hid his body and with it fully spread you could not see the Orochi’s next move. It would have been ideal to use a jutsu that could do fierce damage from close, but for now the boy would have to settle for taijutsu. His frame leaped up to level of the Uchicha’s head, both hands gripped the handle of the tessen which allowed Shisei to pivot and swing his body at the youth. His right leg extended fully as to clip the boy at the side of his face. Specifically in the temple. With fatigue and disgrace looming in the boy’s mind, Shisei was not ready or willing to pull any punches. At least for now an attack was an attack. Besides Sukotto was a chuunin. Surely he could evade the attack of a student two years late.

The Uchiha grinned as his palm extended to touch the Orochi's fan instead of the boy himself. Then, the serpent youth leaped from behind the weapon, clung his hands to its handles, and then transformed the forward momentum into a spinning motion in the form of a powerful kick that was aimed a vital spot of the chuunin's head. Sukotto crouched and looked up as the boy swung and hit nothing but air. While the Uchiha had managed to dodge the kick, he was quite satisfied with what the boy had pulled off, so he deemed the round itself successful for the Orochi. Shisei's reaction to this next situation would be a true testament to his skill, for launching an effective attack was easy, but responding to a counterattack was the true test of one's ability. With that in mind, the higher ranked shinobi moved his hand up to push at the boy's dormant foot. If successful, Sukotto would flip the Orochi student in the air and cause him to either attempt to correct himself, or collapse to the ground after having spun in the air a few times. Normally, Sukotto wouldn't have attempted such a harsh move on the boy, but the Orochi had decided to step it up and launch something more powerful than a mere tag at the Uchiha. Sukotto was actually quite glad to see that Shisei wasn't holding back, but the boy had to see what happened when he provoked others who had more experience than himself. The Uchiha was interested to see if Shisei would dodge his strike with the technique, get hit by the strike and successfully land, or get hit by the strike and fall to the ground in an ungraceful manner. After testing the boy with this, Sukotto would form his final bunshin before having to recover his chakra.

Shisei expected the boy to evade. He was a chuunin after all. If he didn’t then either this squad leader was severely week of the Orochi youth would have to add bonus points to his ego for being so skilled and not realizing. What his mind did not anticipate was that the teen would counterattack in such a fierce way. Wasn’t he one with an easy going disposition? The senior ninja’s hand shoved the boy’s passive leg the opposite direction. Such a small frame as Shisei’s instantly went into a spin. “Shi.!” was all the boy’s lungs managed to get out as the sky and ground revolved quickly. During that spin cycle of worldly revolutions the amber orb quickly glanced that Sukotto was making another attack. One perhaps not as friendly. Well at least the male was getting serious with him. Yet now the snake student had to push through the fatigue. He couldn’t allow it to hinder him at this point in time. He had to at least get out of this situation. There was one easy way to get out of this situation. His mind quickly rattled off all the objects nearby. His tessen, rocks, leaves, stones, sticks, branches, and….! That would work. The Orochi born quickly arranged his fingers in the seal and called upon his chakra. The smoke, exploded around him and in the fleshy frame’s place was an even skinnier, but well crafted staff. One that belonged to the Raiken clan.
“Heh. Perfect.” It was a nice plan because that put him out the eye sight of the uchiha. A perfect position for him to attack from behind. Although it did leave him in a slightly compromising position. His exchange may have put the weapon in harm’s way, but it put the Orochi falling off of the Raiken girl’s hip. Hopefully his mass did not break the girl’s hip holder, but that was not the dread hair’s primary objective at the moment. The primary objective was attacking the Uchiha. “Excuse me.” pushing off of Serena’s hip that may have pushed the taller girl off her feet. Well the boy did say ‘excuse me’. Manners had to remain at all times to some degree. His form ran face, the skeleton aiming lower to the floor. He was going for a low attack this time. If he couldn’t get an immediate knock out, then the boy would have to debilitate and work his way up. As the child was only a few feet away, both arms dropped to the ground giving him balance. The frame swung sideways and the Orochi pushed both legs forward. Then like a spring his arms pushed off so that the boy had momentum for his target. Both feet stuck together to maximize the force of the hit. Where was this attack going? Towards the back of Sukotto’s knee.

Toying with the red ribbon adorning her thin neck, she stared blankly at the sight played out before her. She couldn’t help but find it amusing how Sukotto touched the Orochi child on the first try. At least the kid wasn’t calling Sukotto a rude name. With his bad attitude she wouldn’t have really been surprised. But, that wasn’t a concern right now. Taking a few minutes to enjoy the sight of the two male’s interactions wasn’t a crime, and it wouldn’t take too long before she’d end up having to jump back into the tree and go one footed to complete the hand seals she’d yet to do. Which ones had she not completed as of yet? She finished a few of the first ones, but she hadn’t gone through very many when she ended up getting caught up in the tree. Sighing in agitation, she looked up to see the sun midway through the sky. It was noon. In other words, lunch time. It didn’t seem like team would be taking that little break though. At least with the way things looked right now. Besides, Senritsu was sure that Sukotto had quite a bit more for the group to do before they would leave. Actually, he never mentioned what time they’d be leaving…or did he? Was it today? Or tomorrow? Perhaps the next day? Either way, Sukotto, with his training obsessed ways wouldn’t let them have too much free time before they’d leave.

Dark eyebrows, hidden beneath black hair, crinkled together as she noticed the battle dampening on Sukotto’s side. A slight sluggishness was able to be seen in his movements as he motioned towards the Orochi in yet another attack waiting to be avoided. It then hit her, he’d been doing a lot of training with those clones of his. His Chakra must be close to being completely diminished. It took a split second but she wondered if there’d be a chance she could learn one of those Jutsu that helped the process of restoration of Chakra. She couldn’t remember the name at the moment, but she was sure it would be in one of the books she’d gotten at the Library. She’d have to take a moment or two to look it up when she had the chance. It definitely be something that would take some time hunting down, but be well worth the time. At the moment she began to reach for the books a sound caught her attention and she refocused on the fan that was actually quite beautiful. Was that Shisei’s? So, he finally was able to complete the Jutsu effectively. That was a relief at least. When he was finished with his training, Senritsu could only wonder what else Sukotto would want him to train in.

Gently touching her ankle, Senritsu could tell that it was good enough to stand on again. Lifting herself up from her position on the ground, she climbed up into the tree for yet another try at completing her miniature mission. It took her a moment to get up the nerve to try getting on her one leg again, seeing as how the last try didn’t exactly go very well for her. As the girl stood in the tree, she looked up to see strange hair colored kid actually get a decent sneak attack on his opponent. If he wasn’t hesitant to go up against Sukotto for his training, Senritsu shouldn’t be hesitant to go up against a simple tree. Nodding slightly to herself, she let her thin leg lift from the bark, and her hands combined to start back at the first hand seals she had done since she couldn’t remember exactly which one she had left on when she slipped. The only thought that was coursing through the young girl’s mind at the moment was hoping she wouldn’t fall again. Injuring her ankle, or perhaps a wrist or her back was definitely not something she was too keen on doing. Being hurt wasn’t something she liked. Period. Beginning the hand seals, she started off with Ox, went on to Boar, then Ram, and then Horse. The first four of twelve that she’d need to complete before being done.

Another smile slid itself across the Uchiha's face as he grabbed the Raiken's staff instead of the Orochi's body. However, since it was in fact the girl's weapon that was in his grasp, Sukotto knew exactly where the Orochi would be coming from, and the boy's apologetic voice confirmed Sukotto's hypothesis. He pretended that he didn't hear this until the Orochi was close enough to hear his words. "Be careful not to get too fancy with this jutsu, Shisei. Unique objects such as this staff will give away your position." Sukotto then quickly left the ground in a vertical leap while dropping the staff. He made sure to jump a little early so that gravity would take over when the Orochi was directly underneath him. With this downward momentum on his side, the Uchiha would be in a perfect position to tag the Orochi unless the boy was fast enough to execute the Body Replacement Technique. Whether he landed the blow or not, he would then begin the process of restoring his chakra and call over to Senritsu with a suggestion to ease the training that had finally challenged her, as it had become apparent that she needed a little help. He would say, "Your hands can be a distraction during this training, so really try and focus on one point in space so that your balance isn't interrupted. If you're looking at your hands, then your eyes will cause you to focus on the wrong thing and you will fall."

Feeling herself slip a bit, Senritsu leaned forward and grabbed onto the tree’s trunk before she was able to completely fall off. Her fingers landed on a small piece of the bark that was jutting out from the rest of the tree though and ended up cutting into her hand a bit. It stung, but didn’t cause too much damage to her palm. Smiling, she stood herself back up to try this again. At least she didn’t injure herself as badly as before. That, she was very happy about. Getting up on one foot again, she retried he hand seals, attempting to go further into the list of twelve than she had the time before. It was rough for her to do, seeing as how she wasn’t too good at balancing herself. She may be light but that didn’t help in this situation in the least. Her eyes were kept on her foot, trying to make sure it didn’t move while she was completing the upper body part of this particular set of movements needed. Senritsu completed a number of the hand seals, but still wondered if she’d be able to complete them faster still. There’d be no telling without giving it a bit of a try. Looking up at the sound of Sukotto’s voice she nodded and kept it in her mind so she could make sure to get it right next time round.
