(Ah, I long for the action of a dramatic battle. Gotta stretch the wings)
Mike continued to gently supress his feeling of an evil pressence, making sure he was calm but alert. Still, he was getting a little stressed, so he closed his eyes half way and began to quietly hum the song he had played when he first picked up his ocarina. It helped more than he expected.

((Going to introduce one NPC: The King. He's open for everyone to pass control))
The guard took the group to a large reception hall. Along the walls where niches with statues of past kings and a guard standing in front of each, and a window between each statue, giving the room ample light. There was an empty throne at the far end off the hall, with a small side door near it. People of all walks of life milled about in the hall, waiting for the king to walk in. As soon as the guard left, the side door opened and the King, his advisor, six guards, and four paladins walked in. The King took the throne, the advisor stood next to him, and the guards and paladins moved through the room and stood at attention.
Ashe took this all in will an impassive face, but turning to the group she asked, "Whats with the paladins? Did they find out about what happened the first night?"
(Time Jump)
The King had finished with all those before the group and beckoned them forward. "Now what can I do for you?"
((Fight coming soon, don't worry Mike))

Flint felt overwhelmed, to say the least. The size of the hall was enough to make him feel smaller than he was, but it was the statues that did it. They were huge, so he thought, and looked rather imposing. So did the guards, as well as the paladins. He hid his unease well enough, however, and waited for the king to finish. "Probably, or maybe they're his personal bodyguards, or something." he said to Ashe's question. He decided to let the others walk ahead of him toward the King. If they were headed out on a dangerous quest, he didn't want to give the impression that their group leader was a 3 foot tall gnome.

[[Something for me to do...]]
The King took a long, hard look at everybody in the group. A gnome, two humans and a Fallen angel. What a motley crew this was, and further-more, the reason they were here baffled him.

((Sorry guys, ACT, slooooow internet, lotsa stuff keeping me off the net. And Blue...I'm actually a half elf in my mortal form, not human. Though now that I think about it, most would consider me an elf at first glance-I'm off topic and cant think of anything to RP about.
Just sayin'))

((sorry bout my lateness. My computer is really going downhill.))
Mike stopped humming once the king walked in. He put his hands behind his back and smiled brightly. To anyone around him, he looked like an overjoyed half-elf that was eager to meet the king. Inside, he was ready to get this charade over with so he could get back to searching for his memory and destroying his summoner.
Before the king entered however, Mike had looked at the statues on the walls. He saw a statue of a guard, one of the legendary heroes that had fought for the kings of the past. He took a good hard look. The young man was only a couple of years older than him, his ears showed his elven decent, his face, hard and strong with justice, honor, and loyalty. His hair was quite long for a guard, but his blank eyes still had a determined look in them. It looked kind of like Mike. But that was impossible, the statue was over four hundred some years old most likely. Mike's total life span was just over one hundred and thirty. He couldn't have been in the Inferno for that long...could he?

[Eh, no matter. I just like the fact that we're still going. Not much I want to put into this but I'll post anyways just to keep us afloat] ----- Flint continued to remain quiet as the king stared at them. He still said nothing. Even if he could find his voice, he would leave the diplomacy and speaking to his companions. This was mostly out of nervousness. Gnomes usually make great diplomats...Flint, not so much. He got nervous easily, and standing in front of the king, seeing the armed guards and the massive statues, he couldn't help but feel nervous. Wondering when someone, ANYONE, was going to speak, Flint coughed nervously. It was an utterly pathetic sound.

Ashe reached the king's throne. She bowed and spoke formally. "Your Majesty. We ask that you hear us out. We have heard that you have asked for hunters for a certain quest. We wish to take that quest."
~
Shiango smile. "The dragon's bold. But let's see what she'll do when I pull one little string..."
~
The king's adviser walked up to the king and whispered into his ear. "Sir, two of them are not showing who they truly are. I suggest that you turn them away unless you see if you can trust them."
((I'm aiming for the king to force Ashe and Mike to show their true form. We need a fight.))

((cool!))
Mike's eyes locked onto Ashe when he caught his adviser's whisper. He had originally planned to show his true form from the start, but decided to go with their plan. He started to let go of the hold he had on his form, but held on just enough to maintain it. He would wait for Ashe's next move. A dragon was alot less scary in this world than a demon, especially one that looked as demonic as Mike did.
