Cassie looked up at him. she gritted her teeth at the throbbing in her legs. "My legs, are asleep." she managed. she wiped the tears away hastily and tried to get back up but fell back down.

Cassie shook her head and stood up. she didn't really like it when he did that. she could figure him out. "why?" she asked.

Ralister walked quietly into the village and killed all the guards. He went through the homes and killed alll the men first, the the women more slowly as they couldn't fight back. He woke up the children and herded them out of the vilage, and as they left the sounds of fighting[although there actually was none]] rang out and they looked at him as a savior. He left them near the woods, by themselves, and went back into the depths.

"Either way-" Cassie felt the words lump in her throat. they didn't want to come out and she wasn't sure why. "- you can't expect me to be swept off my feet by you just because you kissed me once. I hardly know you." she said haltingly.

Ralister smiled as he came upon a curios, although not uncommon sean, bandits, trying to steal from travelers, it was unusual becuase this time, the travelers were winning, he decided to help the bandits out. He stepped up behind the toughest of the travelers, using the bandits shadows as a guise, and slipped a dagger into his back. Killing him quickly.

"If you wanted to, that means that you can stop whenever you want to, and you'd be better off not chasing someone like me. why don't you court a kind, quiet girl who will take care of you?" she asked him. "I've never had a decent relationship in my life and i'm used to being by myself and alone. why me?" she asked again.
