"I suppose that Ian and I would be the annoying older brothers?" He laughed. "Just promise me you'll let me search the shops you want to go in. I have an acute sense of smell." They slid to a stop. "I do believe that this is it. I told you I could get you here in no time." The front doors were locked, so he turned away from them and kicked one in. "Ladies first. Just turn and slide." He stuck his tail in the doorway, waiting for them to enter the building.

"I guess." Missy said not wanting them to know that she doesnt want to think of Ian as a brother. 'Must not think that way. must not think that way.' She chanted in her head as she walked through the door that was kicked in, thanks to Orex.

Ian nodded, still with a smile on his face.
"Works for me, I guess." he said to both the older brother thing and the store searching thing.
He hopped off Orex, waiting for the girls to go inside. Then he himself walked into the doors.
He didn't know what he expected. Whatever it was, it wasn't a fairly empty two storey mall.
A few zombies where littered here and there, going about their business. Not much else beyond that that was...alive.
"Let's get to work." he said casually, stepping into the mall.
There was a few things he wanted first. A smaller knife than his bayonet, and some more ammo, both he expected to find in a sporting store.
Ian stepped up to a map of the mall and began to read it.

"I always used to have brothers, so I'm so excited for having an older sister!"
Lithil expounded, bounding off the back of the lizard to land neatly in front of the once-automatic doors. Following Orex's directions, she slid in between the two broken doorframes, taking special care not to step on broken glass. It wasn't imperative that she did, as her body could just easily expel the shards, but it still hurt like a b***h so she avoided it. Turning back to look at the giant iguana, she arched an eyebrow.
"I got enough of those, dude. How 'bout you just be Orex for the moment? Family metaphors would just make things suck more if one of us dies..."
Her serious senses kicked in, making her sound like a total hypocrite. She winced, and shook her head. Her eyes adjusted to the musty light that filtered down through the huge, surprisingly intact skylight, highlighting a muddy fountain that probably was once the central meeting spot of the mall. Bodies lay strewn about, some hanging out of shop windows, other slumped over benches or in the potted plants.
"Quite the fixer-upper, eh..."
Lith murmured, glancing about. They hadn't, to use a WoW term, 'aggroed' the drones yet, so she bounded off to dispatch them before they caused any danger.

[I guess it's my fault for not being here. I was gone to an amazing date with my GF, then a freakin' amazing Chinese theater and dance special at the NAC.] Virgil opened his eyes again on the bench after hearing something stomp down the road. Presumably towards his choice destination. He got up with a groan, and muttered, "Guess it's my fault for getting myself knocked over pretty hard. If only I had a way to get..."Even with his pain-killer addled mind, he remembered a garage nearby that had, of all odds, a working Jeep that he found out about a couple of days ago. "Hang on guys. I'll give you some back up." Virgil said as he hurried down the street. He found the garage without any qualms, and loaded his magnum to be safe. Opening the door, he led his way inside with the revolver first, carefully. Finding a lone 'drone', as Lilith called them, he dispatched it with calm ease...thanks once again to the magic of Ibuprofen. Finding the wonderful Jeep in a nice blue, and a half-tank of gas, he got in the driver's seat and hotwired the car to start. In a minute, the Jeep was back out of the garage, and headed towards the mall amongst the rubble in the road. [Not mentioning how to hotwire, since it could lead to you guys doing something stupid IRL.]

((Could we not discuss actually committing felony charges? I've got stuff off-the-record that makes me a little uncomfortable about that kinda stuff.))
Orex studied the map of the mall and made his way to the security room. He turned into a spider and crawled under the door. There were two drones in the room, which, after shifting back into his human/lizard form, ripped them to pieces. He accessed all security cameras and watched his new friends' actions.
He picked up a walkie-talkie and tried to get someone else's attention. "Hey guys! Guess what I found?" He laughed and watched as Lithil ripped through a crowd of fleshbags.

((hey guys, i'm new! Thanks meghan for showing me this rp!))
Pandora had been hiding out in the mall for a few days now. It was one of the few places she could find food. Of course she would dispose of the few living dead that crossed her path. She actually had her sights on one at the moment, when suddenly she heard a walkie-talkie of a dead security guard squak to life. She was suprised. Other humans that were alive, there? What were the odds? She shot down the oncoming zombie and once he was out for good, she went over to the uniformed corpse and pulled the walkie talkie out, it might come in handy.

Ian found his way past the map to a sporting store not to far away from where Lithil was going to town against the zombies.
He kicked at the security gate a few times, until a section snapped and collapsed. He assumed he wasn't the only one to smash at this gate, though he was probably the only living person in a while.
He jumped when he heard something else unexpected. A single gunshot. He was sure none of the others fired. It came from deeper in the mall...
Ignoring his original plan, he moved up ahead, SKS shouldered. He had no idea if the shot was fired at his team, or at a zombie.
Either way, best to be safe.
Not long after, he found what he was looking for. Down below him, near a candle store, was a young girl standing over a security guard. The gun in her hand told him it wasn't a zombie.
He stayed quiet, moving over behind a heavy stone garbage can, just in case. He peered over it, down at her.

Missy watched Ian walk away and she decided to go find some clothes. Her's were tatered from the last fight. She walked amilessly untill she heard shots being fired. She rushed to see where it was comming from. She stopped mid stride when she saw a reflection of a young woman in a window. She stopped behind a wall and watched for a while.

Pandora put her gun back in its holster, and went into the nearest store, which happened to be a candle store. She closed the door quietly behind her. She looked through the aisles. Candles would come in handy when she needed to leave the mall. She found a stash of lighters too. "Excellent" She whispered. Now she wouldn't have to worry about starting fire's by hand.

Ian stayed quiet, almost as if he was a hunter stalking an elusive prey.
He wasn't going to fire unless she did, of course. Judging by how she moved, she had no clue he was on the second floor, or that the group just moved inside the mall.
A bit of movement caught his eye. Moving his head, he saw Missy behind the corner, near the store.
He looked down at her, hoping to make some type of eye contact to get her attention without alerting the other woman.

Missy noticed Ian at the top floor and looked at him. She noticed he saw her so she nodded her head as if to say she saw him.

Once Pandora grabbed about twenty lighters, and a few candles, she exited the store. Her foot caught on the door jam and she fell into some broken glass. "Great, just perfect." she mumbled as she picked herself up. Her hands were bleeding, however, they started to close themselves up. Pandora was glad that none of the glass had stuck in the wounds, she would have had to rush to pull them out before they were healed over.
