"Why else do you think I'm here? You know I don't get involved unless there's competition. " Puddles purred, "Spikey failed twice to get her... A third time, and I bet you'll be elected leader. Someone worth pulling out of neutrality for. " He wasn't really buying time, just having a nice civil chat before blows were exchanged. He hadn't seen these guys in ages! He had to catch up in the gossip somehow.
Course, it was probably seeming like he was jumping sides, yet again, to the human hanging from his neck it seemed. He didn't really care. Though, he should probably see to keep the human out of the fray a bit longer. "Say...You don't mind letting me land so I can get rid of the necklace? Dropping her would seem...a bit pointless to the overall plan Raziel has. "

angelgirl2345 *stares at puddle, not believing what he was saying* you're... going to help Radu... *is angry and lets go of him and tries squirming out of some of his grasp since they weren't far from the ground now, enough to hurt a bit, but it wouldn't kill her* hmm.. *ponders over what puddle is saying* so the best thing is to not let Spike grab her.. interesting *grins and then looks at her* *parries attacks from both Kain and Spike now, not doing well against Kain's invisible wind sword; It had already cut him very badly in his side* Damn... *strikes a strong attack against Kain to eliminate him, and misses**attacks upward at Fenrir and misses his body, but gets a wing**gasps from the pain and falls to the ground, landing on his feet, then moving out of the way to avoid Spike's attack too**laughs and hisses* I will kill you this time Isaac..*is breathing heavily and on the verge of passing out from blood loss* Damn... I have...to.. take him...out... *lunges again really fast and slashes Balthier's sword arm, making it fall off**makes no sound and picks up sword in other hand, blood gushing out of the left, and swings at Skyler as he slices him, both becoming injured; collapses**winces and falls forward, finally out*

Irridecent_Puddle Puddles sighed and ...well had it with the squirming girl in his arms. He rolled his eyes and basically hoisted Angel over his shoulders. He would grab her hands and legs so she wouldn't pull anything or really hurt herself. He was, after all, negotiating her freedom in a way. "Shut it, human. I'm following orders. "
Attention was turned back to Radu with a smile. "So... Thinking of helping a guy out? It's quite clear Spike fails as a commander...and Babysitting her is getting tiresome. " With a lot of things at stake, including his neutrality, he was trying to at least keep everything on a tolerable level. "All we need is her eggs...yes? "

angelgirl2345 *is very angry with puddle now, gets teary eyed and whipers* why... I trusted you.. *is now still over puddle's shoulder*Yes, but Overlord Raziel also wants her as a Daemon.. We have a spy in the Asea Valley that is giving us information that she would be a powerful Daemon or Fallen, one that would indeed be at Sage or Lord level. That is why we need her..*stares at Angel again* to think such a human existed..*listened in horror, and continued to not move at all*Damn... I have to ... take out... one of ...them... *gasps and looks at Narcissa, Kain, Balthier, and Spike, all surrounding him* Damnit... *picks up severed arm and it heals instantly to his skin, then changes sword hands again to his left hand**laughs* aw Isaac.. what's the matter you look a bit beat.. Did we get you to hard... *laughs again**grinds teeth, he was indeed beat and he knew it; His body was now covered in tons of major injuries, and now he was also poisoned thanks to Narcissa getting back up* Dammit...*tries not to become paralyzed before taking out one of them; doubles over, coughing up blood and then he too, passes out* Angel...*laughs* yes.. now to get the girl, everyone with me.. Puddle is a handful when he takes her.. *flies in the direction of Puddle, Radu, and angel: The others following*

Irridecent_Puddle "Hush." He hissed. He wasn't trying to be mean, he just wanted to be able to think without a crying girl at hand. They were ever slightly annoying.
"So she is. But think of the offspring you could breed from her if she remains human! Her genetics are quite powerful. But...once she's either, will she remain fertile? The other's weren't. " It was then that he saw Spike and the gang heading this way. "Damn.. Oh well. I suppose I'm out numbered, huh? Well, I guess I have to give her up... she's already been tainted by Issac..." He mumbled out the last bit, though looking back at Radu. "But your information already that that part...right? "

Jakapello, Fenobi, and Hjinx were at the site of the battle no sooner the folks flew off. Drops of Puddle's #24 healing potion was admistered to all the battle worn folks. This was his plan. Draw the folks away with the girl, heal the heros, and then have the hero's ambush the baddies. But, then again, he wasn't sure that would work. Hence why he sent out his lackeys to heal while he stalled. And the plan had changed rather quickly from the original one.
"The lord really has made a mess of things this time."
"Shut up and heal! Then get them back to the Hall. We need to keep up."
"Keep up!? HAH! We'll be lucky to catch a feather with the way he rolls. A two second warning isn't my idea of fun. "
Hjinx hissed and snarled. "Look! I don't like having them here anymore than you! It's better than getting air raided all the time here! "
Jakapello, finished with the rounds sat in the middle, grumbling before shaking his body out. This was going to be quite a killer of a transport. Those that had been really damaged in battle would be collected by a bright light before...well, it was replaced with a dark circlular room with a rather nice ceiling made of stained glass of reds, oranges, and blues. Hjinx and Fenobi would lope off, yelling and snarling at one another. They had folks to cook for, and a Master to wait to return with the girl.

angelgirl2345 *listens and hears the part about being tainted, when she wasn't yet* what... *is suddenly very quiet, thinking**is here and heard what Puddle just said* What! she can't be tainted by Isaac.. *growls**is tense and staring at Puddle and hisses* how are we suppose to deliver her now..*glares and snaps at Radu* It doesn't matter.. All we need to do is grab her, take her back, and then they can deal with it. If a child were growing within her, it would just be destroyed, easy fix..*thinks* yes... now all we need is her.. Hand her over dear Puddle *holds a hand out*

Irridecent_Puddle Aww...okay Stray! -waves- good night love! Puddles smiled and shook his head. "A tainted human isn't allowed to procreate, remember? That's the law of the land. You'll be going against the law of all sides by bringing her back. I don't want Raziel out of commission. He's doing such a good job. Your error messing up his reign is not something I'll let happen. " He snarled at the other Daemons as he recited an old law. Yay for random trivia! If Jeopardy! was still around, Puddle would probably be a five time champion, if the category was 'Random laws that loop hole abductions from foolish Lords'.
He didn't make a move to hand over Angel, since that would leave him open to attack. He did trust Spike and Radu not to attack him, same with the quiet one. The others? He had never met them outside of massive parties thrown by the Overlord. He couldn't trust them. "Ahh....Who are you?" he blurted, his face skewing in confusion to the person holding the hand. It was a bit rude...But, then again so was randomly attacking out of the blue and demanding without introductions. "I don't think we've met. It's a breech in protocol to hand over someone to someone unknown. "

angelgirl2345 *bows* how foolish of me.. I am Narcissa, Lord Orin's commander now... *whispers* laws... I do not recall them and Overlord Raziel's word is law... we bring her tainted or not.. it doesn't matter..Puddle, we don't have time for this, just hand me the human so that we can take her back.. *stares at Puddle and flies closer to him, with his hand out**also stares at Puddle and is ready to leave*

Irridecent_Puddle " Narcissia...Ah. Yes. I've heard of you. Wonderful work ethic. Ah...Orin was bound to be replaced eventually. Lucky for us all it was you. " He nodded his head in return to the woman. It was the polite thing to do.
Listening to the muttering of Spike, Puddles hissed and then started laughing. "You should look it back up. It was before Raziel came into power. Its back next to the one where we don't eat Fallen filth unless we have to. If I recall, " the male began slyly, "you failed that course and had to retake it three times. I don't know how you got high in the ranks. Disgraceful really. "
Since this was getting pointless, he sighed and raised an eyebrow. "You know I can't give her back without some fun. How about this... I don't give her to you. Not until there is someone I actually respect on the case. Lovely catching up! See you at the next convention! " He winked, waved to the silent one and ..well..Vanished.
Only the whisper of a spell could be smelled by the more magically inclined of the bunch. And even then, it would smell only of a simple spell of hiding. Reality, it was cover for the more complex spell of transport. Far off would Puddle and Angel appear. Deep underground where Puddle's home was...right in the middle of the human's guardians. There he would carefully set her down and pat her on the head. "Now...I"m not giving you to them just yet. Actually, never. Heh..Deception is an awesome tool, isn't it? Now...you look spaced and tired... Hjinx will show you to your room. "
With that, Puddle walked out of the lovely room cast in the glows of red, orange, and blue. The halls were huge, tall, and made of stone. Clearly, Puddles had been around for a long time to be able to afford such a nice place...that or he had some rank in the Daemon society. Hjinx met him halfway down the hall and quickly passed by, bounding into the lovely lit room. "Thank gods you're okay. He didn't do anything stupid did he? "

DAMN YOU PUDDLE!! *looks really angry, but its to cover up the fear he has now.. not fear for himself, but fear for the one close to him* Dammit... *spins around and begins heading back towards the Overlord's castle to report back in**looks a bit triumphant and mutters* we'll see who is in charge after this**eyes Radu and speaks in a snake type voice* you didn't want her to be captured Radu... But if Lady Elana dies because of this, I will kill you... *turns around and follows Spike**turns to the other two* you two did great at getting knocked unconscious back there**grins evilly* of course.. all a part of the plan.. we'll will be rewarded once you replace Tyson.. especially after we get that human.. Puddle lied when he said she was tainted..*grins* did he now... he is very sly indeed... you will not win though Puddle, we will capture her when it is our turn.. *turns to head in the direction of Overlord Raziel's castle too**was completely dazed at entering Puddle's home* Where.. am.. I *stares at the pretty red, orange, and blue glows and answered Hjinx* he lied to them, and I think stalled them before bringing me here.. He also insulted them a bit.. *turned to find where Puddle had gone* where is he now.. I wish to thank him and apologize since I thought he had betrayed us...

Irridecent_Puddle Hjinx snickered, and rolled his eyes. That would be his master alright. He was always plotting and scheming. And this time, he had his hands in the mother load of power. Puddle's pretty much had power in his hands and he wasn't going to let it slip away. Unless a better offer appeared. Both sides so far were proving to be..well, stupid how they wooed the woman to their ways. The Fallen had almost got her. Almost, if Angela hadn't gotten impatient.
"Yeah. I told him it was a bad idea. But it worked out in the end. "
The wista hopped over the passed out figures of Fenrir, Skylar, and Riko. They really were a bit worse for ware, but they were slowly healing before their eyes. They'd wake up in a little bit. By then, Angel would be comfortable enough to explain the situation to them. Hjinx trotted down the corridor, making sure the girl was following him before turning several corners, each turn he waited for her to catch up. The scenary was probably drawing the attention away from the directions. He stopped before a double door, shoved it opened..and well... It was a lovely room inside. Four poster bed, sheer drapery, and an odd balcny out onto a cavern that had a lovely view of the valley. Yep. Puddle's home was built into the ground in a cave wall. A very good place to hold court at, and to drive folks away. "Well? Like it? It's not exactly like your room..but it has a 300 count sheets! Improvement, yah? "

angelgirl2345 *was indeed distracted by everything; it all seemed to sort of glitter and the lights were so pretty* wow... *was even more dazed at it all and was completely shocked by her room* oh my god its amazing... *runs over to the four poster and plops down on it* soo soft! *hear's hjinx's comment and laughs* 300 count... very big improvement to my room...*thinks about Fenrir* I shouldn't stay though... I want to be with Fenrir... *whispers* Is he ok... I probably won't be able to sleep without him anyways... he always sleeps in my room.. *thinks about last night and blushes*

Irridecent_Puddle In the long run? I don't know. Possible utter complete betrayal. My character dictates how I move. But for the most part, that's it. I just need to pick an ultimate side. Hjinx laughed when she bounced around the room, plopping his haunches in the door frame. "There's a door to another room next the bookshelf for the others. We've practically thought of everything. Though, We're going to have to ask to keep the balcony door closed and locked at all times it isn't in use. " He wasn't going to mention anything at all about the actual reason for keeping the girl here. Then again, he didn't know that. That was Puddle's knowledge.
"Heh... He's sleeping really...You saw. he'll be up on his feet soon. Dinner? "

I think I'll just go be with him and Riko and Skyler.. *gets up and walks over to Hjinx and hugs him* thank you.. for everything...*pulls aways* but really I want to see them... *is getting sad now that they aren't there with her; doesn't like to be alone*

Irridecent_Puddle Hjinx blinked as he was hugged, but he patted the girls back and smiled. "Alright. They're right across the way. " He laughed softly, picking himself up and pushing on that door that happened to just be a wall. Inside..well, there was a slightly less ornate and effemanate room, but the three guardians were there. Hjinx sat at the door and would wait until Angel passed before he would leave to return to his own quarters. Ha ha ha... Meh...XD Insentive not to betray is always good. Else...you never know I might end up creating the neutrality faction that is only after Angel's cells.
