Sandra realized that she was rambli ng and quickly stopped. She glanced away from him, like she was embarrassed and waited for him to say when he was ready.

 "Thank you for your concern, but there's no way to correct something genetic," Shiki said with a chuckle when she turned away. He needed to take her mind off of what happened. He didn't want to explain that to her, even if he couldn't remember it. He could grasp the gravity of what he did and he had a feeling his 'other' self was responsible. There was no mistaking that desire to slaughter the moment before he lost consciousness, "...So, where to next?" he asked.

SAndra pulled her map out and spread it on the ground in front of her. "I'm not sure," she said, honestly. She quietly skimmed over the places listed on the map.

Sandra was quiet as she looked for a new place to go. "Hmm.... we could go here," she said, pointing to an area that said, 'Lurugen Swamp.' "I think there would be a lot of new plants to see there," she added, more to herself then to Shiki.

"Okay. We'll go there next," Shiki said. He was thinking it could be a good learning experience if nothing else, as long as there's no zombies wandering around in daylight like here...

"Okay," Sandra said with a small smile. Then she stood up. "Are you sure that you will be okay traveling right after that?" she asked in concern, not wanting him to overdo himself.

Sandra frowned in response to his answer. "You shouldn't go and wear yourself out. We can rest here for a little while," she said, carefully gripping his elbow to help give him support.

"Shiki..." Sandra said, continuing to frown. "Really, we can rest here. I'm not even sure what happened to you, do you know what did?" she asked, wanting to know in case that happened again.

Shiki stumbled and his back hit the tree trunk behind him. He leaned on it for support, "I have an idea what happened...I guess there's no avoiding it huh...?" He contemplated.

Sandra sighed and got ready to help him if she needed to. "What do you know?" she asked. She didn't think they should be leaving soon anyways, with Shiki like this.
