Alihi froze. "I-I'm not sure."

Nils turned around suddenly, hearing the yell. Frantically, he looked around the crowd, discovering the same thing as Rhys had: Madriana wasn't there.
Fearing the worse, he headed towards the rest of the Host Club.

"R-Rei? Amelia? One of you over here... NOW, PLEASE?" Rhys looked agitated, almost ready to panic.

"Nometal... good to see you." The nomad grinned, but that was all. Even in her normal state of mind, it wasn't like her to flat out smile.

And through the tension that travelled through Rhys, she put up a calm facade while talking to the others. "What's going on, everyone?"

The bishop's face split into a wide grin, and he reached out to rub the top of her head. "It really has been forever, hasn't it? At least we get to meet like this and not as enemies, hm?" He paused for a moment, then shrugged. "It isn't as if I would fight you, in any case. But! I'm glad that there is this little event to entertain us." After a moment, he seated himself on the floor. "I suppose you aren't interested in dancing tonight, judging from appearances?"

"Ah, thank you," Alcyone managed to choke out her throat feeling tight and hair not easily reaching her lungs. The answer was most uncharacteristic of her, normally at such a moment she would heap praise upon her creator or insult him in such manner for he was human.
Perhaps it was his dragon blood that caused her to not strike out against the lord. The defiant action sent a wave of pain through her mind, which she couldn't help but wince at. The pain was a reminder of her loyalty, a loyalty she could never betray as long as her master lived.
"I think we should." Her eyes returning to their emotionless state after the reminder of her loyalty she had felt.

She had been about to stage an elaborate "accident" between Rhys and Amelia, but she was distracted. Amelia had noticed something too, as had a few others.
"Um... nevermind, I'll deal with it later... what's going on?" She backed up and tried to make a survey of the area.

Amelia looked over to to NoMetal, then Sue. "I'm not sure. Please, wait here," she told them, holding a finger up before running over to Rhys.
"What's going on here? Why was Madriana yelling?" Amelia asked. "You didn't say something mean, did you...?" she tried to joke. It was a bad time for it, but it just slipped out.

Vaherianslyeri shook her head- Rei was poking fun at her. She'd recognized it, but figuring out how to respond... now that was the hard part.
"A pleasure to see you again as well, Rei. No ill will, I assure you." She took the hand and shook it, glad for not the first time that minds could not be read. She didn't want to tell him what transpired beneath the grounds of the castle, what with the Crew member that had almost crippled herself during the morph's attempted inquiry. It was not what he needed to hear now, and she did not offer it.
She raised a brow when Tibarn approached, but she did not stare hostilely at him. He was suspicious of her- he had every right to be, based off what he had told her. She remained civil, and was surprised that he hadn't said anything derogatory to her.
She had to pinpoint what it was that had irritated him last time. She couldn't help her aura, but if it was her inquisitive nature...
"...Cozy? The environment is comfortable, yes. I will have to look up this concept later."
...Whoops. There it came out again. Realizing it could not be taken back, though, she sighed and looked up again.
"Yes. Thank you, sir Tibarn. Are you enjoying yourself, as well?"
Madriana's cry cut off all thoughts of conversation. She turned, though she could see nothing.
A pang of pain at realizing that she could no longer be at her creator's beck and call coursed through her- though it only showed on her face.
The first chord was cut.

Tibarn was saved the awkward conversation to follow by Madriana's loud cry from within the castle. "That sounds like my cue, he murmured," and suddenly he took to the air, his enormous back-mounted wings carrying him easily through the open doors and into the castle, where his excellent hearing led him straight to Madriana. He set down on his talon-paw-shoe-things and cocked a brow, crossing his arms. "Hey, Madriana, what the hell is going on, exactly?"

"This is not cool! This is SO not cool! If that was who I think it was freaking out about something for real, we are in SO MUCH TROUBLE! And what's worse is that this all means the Resistance more or less started it! This was a true chance to make a happy ending, and it could very well be blown from here to high heaven now!" Rhys babbled, flinging his arms this way and that, nearly falling onto the ground.

Stefan listened to the conversation between Rei and Vaherianslyeri suspiciously, but he decided he shouldn't pry into it. At least not for now.
Instead he directed his attention to Tibarn, who had approached recently and began rambling in an attempt to make conversation.And before Stefan could reply he had made his way towards some sort of dilemna elsewhere at the party...
