My high school director wasn't a diva. He was a nice guy who worked you hard. Mory's director is a diva who expects you to not have any life other than HER SHOW. I hope she doesn't rag on Mory too much for not showing up yesterday at the dance rehearsal. After all, it wasn't on the schedule *I had* when I arranged her birthday party!
(Of course, this is the woman who tried to take me on last year when we had tickets to the circus and I told her that Mory was going to miss ONE rehearsal. She lost that battle!)
See, what's really freaky about Mory is that without any coaching on my part, she was always been interested in the things that *I* was interested in throughout High School. (Although her grades are WAY better than MINE ever were!)
Let's just hope she doesn't piss away her potential like her mom did. sweatdrop

I don't think you pissed away your potential. At the very least you have a very kind and caring daughter. You have worked hard to give her a good life. Thats hardly a waste. Also I know you have friends that care about you, and wouldn't have their lives nearly as well off if not for you. A life spent helping others is no waste.

Usagi Zendrake I came in here to take the meat off the chicken bones so that I could use the bones to make some soup. Fixing you a plate will be no problem. So how's the Modly business today? Has the latest Gaia glitches made it difficult to do your duty? But then, you've got the great and powerful Mod server so I bet it was better for you. Does the Mod server have a name? *passes DV a plate filled with chicken and roast beef and salad and veggies* Wonderful, thank you. heart *eats and waits to speak until the bite is swallowed* And why yes, it's called Stage (would that make us performers?). It's a lot more stable than the others since there are only a handful of Mods using it. At the moment, it's free from those annoying server errors. heart The Admin is good to his servants. As for the other conversation, I want to get back into acting as well...

Romuel Now what's on the menu today? Well... I was thinking of putting the chicken soup/stock I made in the freezer for some other time. That just leaves the rest of the roast beef. And I was thinking of turning that into some nice pulled beef filling for burritos. mmmmm. Burritos! heart

Let's see... pull apart the meat into little chunks. Check! Chop an onion and saute it in a bit of oil. Check! Put meat in with onion. Check!
Time for the seasonings.
*digs through spice cabinet for cumin, garlic powder, oregano, and chili powder... pulls container of picante sauce out of the fridge*
*tosses enough picante in to moisten the meat, then sprinkles in seasonings willy nilly*
Mmmm! This is going to be good.
*turns down to simmer and lets everything warm and the spices to seep into the meat*

Ah, the magic of the intarweb! Burrito filling perfectly cooked! xd
*puts some black beans in one pot and refried beans in the other, placing them on the stove to warm*
Hmmm... what else do we need?
*chops tomatoes, red and green peppers, onions...*
I should make some pico de gallo. Let's see... chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, minced jalapenos, a touch of minced cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice. I hope I haven't forgotten anything.
*puts some tortillas in the oven to warm*
