She stared at him a moment and blinked again. "...No? If anything I feel like I...want...to know..." she began, then trailed off as her surroundings finally registered. "....why...are we..."
What the heck was going on?

"In a tree?" Spider-man supplied helpfully. "... It's actually kind of a ridiculously long and mindbogglingly stupid story. ... Except that it was completely terrifying when it was actually happening." Looking at the girl's eyes, which were still having a little trouble focusing, he sighed. "... I think we'd better give you a minute first."

Jessica looked around another moment, trying to wrap her head around where she was, and what had happened. The last thing she remembered was...was...um...oh. She couldn't remember. She was in New York, but...someone, someone did something.
She moved a little bit to try and sit herself up more, then finally realized that waking up in a tree was the least of her worries.
"Oh God! Where are my...why am I in a sheet?"

Peter immediately covered his eyes. "Don't DO that! Jesus!" Deep breaths. This wasn't awkward if he didn't make it awkward. The version of me with boobs is mostly naked in a pine tree. ...That's pretty awkward, all by itself. "Okay. Short version. You were kidnapped by this super secret organization, and they were... experimenting on you. I think. Any explanations that I managed to get were pretty spectacularly vague."

A pair of Doombots began patroling the forest near Spiderman and Spiderwoman. The robots were flying just over the tree line.

Jessica grabbed the top of the sheet with one arm and pressed it against her chest to keep it from moving any further. Her face rather pink. "Experimenting?" she said, almost to herself.
Experimenting...secret organization? The last thing she remembered was...swinging through the city. Something...oh. Something caught her attention and she went to check it out. Then there as a man...Deadpool. He had that stupid stun gun. Then she woke up....she woke up strapped down to a table. Machinery and wires all around her. A woman standing by her.
"...oh." she said quietly. "And you...you got me out of there?" she asked, turning back to him.

He opened his mouth to answer, then froze as his spider sense warned him about the approaching... things. Holding up a finger, he waited for whatever it was to pass them by. Maybe the drugs had dulled Jessica's spider sense... that was actually a really disturbing thought.

As the Doombots flew over, one of them pick ups their respiration through their parabolic hearing and slowed its flight, Picking up lifesigns. Investigating.
It's partner then slowed to follow the first in investigating what the other one detected.

Crap. They were getting closer. "Get ready to move," he said quietly. Seeing as he had no idea where he was or what the things were, he didn't want to attack them right off the bat; just because he was alone with a half drugged girl in an entirely too-creepy forest... Maybe they were happy flying unicorns with sunshiny smiles! ...Hey, it could happen!

Jessica looked at him, then quickly glanced around. Get ready to move? What? She didn't sense anything. At least...her spider sense wasn't doing anything. Nevertheless, she gripped the little bit of cover she had and tried to hold it in place for a sudden getaway.

Both Doombots spot Spiderman and ... a naked female with a bedsheet, Spiderman.... and a female.....
One of the Doombots jerked oddly for a brief moment. Then a familiar rich tone came through the robot's voice, "Spiderman, is there a particular reason why you have a naked woman in a forest just outside of Budapest?"

Spider-man just stared at the thing for a long, long beat. KARMA REFUND! NOOOOOW! RIGHT FREAKING NOW, DAMMIT! "... Oh, you know," he heard himself saying offhandedly as most of his brain struggled to come up with some kind of plan, "Tony Stark throws a party, and the next morning..." He shrugged one shoulder.

Jessica didn't say anything. She simply stared and tried very hard very hard to keep herself calm. If she didn't, she had a feeling her face was going to turn about as red as Peter's costume.
Good g...she wanted to just curl up under a boulder and die. Trying to surf a cyclone of scrap metal sounded better than....this.
