Plus they actually explore a wider varity of concepts. They have a ton of things they can do, but how many songs can you sing about having mad money and bitches?

Now don't get me wrong, I still like certain hip hop artists, namely MF Doom.
But artists like that do not get recognized by the average fan of the genre because...He doesn't usually rap about Mad money and bitches. They think he's horrible based on that.
But hey, there is some truth in what we are already saying. Currently the genre that's been having plummeting sales every year is this genre that we are talking about.
