The arm that was caught soon snapped appart. Octavious grimmaced and tried to slam the creature into the wall repeatedly. It was the only thing he could do.
"I could..." Alcina replied with a smile. "...but you haven't given me a reason to yet."

"Really?" asked Riddler, "Let's see what we can do about that..." He leaned forward, and went for a kiss.
Croc didn't have very long to gloat over the tearing of the second arm, as the success threw himself off-balance, allowing the human octopus to throw him into a wall a couple times. He grabbed a pipe on the third impact, and ripped it off the wall as his enemy pulled him back again.

Alcina smiled a bit and stayed put to let him kiss her.
Octavious's vision was a bit blurred, but he still caught the creature grab the pipe. He swun his arms to the side, to try to slam the creature into something else. If he could render it unconcious, he'd have a better chance to escape.

On the next pull back, Croc threw the pipe directly at the octo-man's head. "You'll have to do better than that, octopus man. I've been hit by Bane."
The Riddler then pulled away from the kiss. "You know, suddenly, I'm not sure I should go through with that, truth be told."

Octavious brough his actual arm up to block the pipe, but it whiplashed around it and still struck the side of his head.
The swing of his tentacles soon slowed.
"Oh?" Alcina asked.

Killer Croc took advantage of the slowed motion, and grabbed the other two arms. He was already halfway there, why not break the others? "Tick, tock, tick, tock..."
The Riddler smirked. "You know when soemthing tells you that something is very wrong? I'm getting that feeling now. Don't worry; you're still very beautiful... Is there another god-like being out there that's extremely jealous when it comes to you?" In truth, he had NO idea whatsoever whether that was true or not, but it stood to reason. She was impossibly beautiful.

Ock's last two arms soon snapped in half. He grimmaced, holding the side of his head with one hand, and tried to back away.
Alcina's smile fell a bit in reply. "There might be."

Killer Croc cornered the man. "Tick, tock, your time's up."

"Unless a god of equal power puts a spell on the man. Then the other can't touch him." Alcina said with a small grin.
Octavious scowled, and his broken arms still writhered around him angrily. "Never." he hissed. Though...there honestly was nothing more he could do....aside from hiding his own fear.

"Interesting development," Edward said, "I'm listening..."
Killer Croc grabbed the man's real arms and lifted him off the ground to look him in the eye. Just then, an idea formed. He looked back at the door, then back at the octopus man. "Yes, I think that would be better than just eating you."

Alcina smiled a bit. "Typically...if I put a protection spell on something, then there is very little that can touch it."
Ock's metal arms tried to strike at the thing, but being broken, it still couldn't do much.

"I see," Nygma replied thoughtfully, then continued with, "Naturally, SOMETHING will have to happen in exchange. Everybody wants something."
Croc shifted his grip, so that one massive hand was holding Doc Ock by the torso, his chest completely covered by the scaly hand. "Time for a swim," Killer Croc said, taking a deep breath and diving into the water. He started swimming towards the door of the cell, the access that the guards use to deliver Croc to his cell; the hatch at the top wasn't big enough to allow Waylon Jones passage, which was exactly how they had intended it. Killer Croc intentionally kept his prey fully submerged as well as he approached the door.

Still trying hard not to show his fear, Octavious's grimmace deepened. He took as deep a breath as the hand would allow and tried to hold it as the two went under.

Killer Croc slowly made his way to the door. He could stay under water for a VERY long time without any discomfort, but he wanted the man to begin to think that he was going to drown before they resurfaced.
"So, question: What do you give a goddess in exchange for protection?" asked the Riddler.

Octavious soon began to run out of breath, and after a few moments, began struggling in the creature's grasp.
"Well, I suppose that depends on what there is to offer." she replied with a small smile. Really, she couldn't think of anything herself. He was keeping her mind away from X, so she was fairly satisfied at the moment.
