She waved her hands in front of her. "No, no. I'm fine, really." She looked away from him again, speaking even softer. "So, I guess you guys have it all planned out. This is becoming a reality. Kind of scarey..."

She smiled weakly and placed her hand on his. "I know. I'll stay here. I promise." It pained her to say the words, but she knew Vandal would not give up so easily. She leaned in to rest her head on his shoulder. "I'll.....miss you when you're gone...."

Sophitia couldn't fight the smile off her face. "I will." Her eyes teared up again, but she still kept her smile. She tackled him into a hug. "I want you all to be safe. And I promise to keep watch around here."

She tightened her grip on him. "I....I will stay safe." She bit her bottom lip. "Is there any way I can hear from you? To know how you're all doing?"

Once on the roof, Brodix began to look out over the city. It was hard to believe that he had only been in this town for a whole day, and now here he was a part of a conspiracy to over-throw it's boundaries. He didn't really know what to make of it all, but whatever.... it wasn't like his life had been simple before this anyway. He only had memories of the last 50 years. Everything before that is lost.... perhaps permanently. "Hm, I wonder what other riff-raff this group will attract."

She leaned her head on his arm. "Ok." She was finally able to look into his eyes. "I just worry because I......I really are about you." She blushed and looked down, remembering parts of Twilight, which she was still reading...

Her mouth twisted, hiding her smile. "You better not be pulling an Edward. I will be strong for you, but you don't have to worry. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep myself safe." She almost laughed. She was falling for a vampire, how safe was that?
