 Xena took on a rather annoyed appearance and she took up the leash again. "Very well." She stared blankly at the portal and jumped through, landing on her feet on the other side.

Shadow yawned and rolled back onto his back..He guessed the people were done here so he didn't have to worry anymore...

A flood of relief passed over Mika. "good. One less problem to deal with." She seemed to just rop to the ground, she was reveling in resisting the temptations. "Now, shall we leave at daybreak?.. or stay here some more? there are better places to hide then in a very..open desert. How about the forests, i know a few places to tuck away in."

Mika nodded, just sitting beside him, just laying his head on her lap as she looked down at him. "does it still hurt?" She gently put a hand on the bandage, just light presure to see if the lump was gone. "that poultice should have neuralized it."

"Thats good. Im glad its geting better, ill put more on later, once thats done seeping in, ill clean it out and put another poultice on, that one should work a bit better... itll heal in steps." Mika nodded. "atleast that bump has gone away... that was a nasty nasty thing that was."

Renata heard everything they said back and forth, but wasn't exactly there listening, her midn stuck listening to oen word ring over and over in her head. The place she had been trying to get to for a long long time now. THe place she had once called home before everything that defined home was put to fire and shambles and before she had been dragged away to dark nights and painful days. "The forest..." she whispered her eyes swirling many different colors in that moment, the mere thought enlightening to her. She wanted to know if anyone had survived... The only two she ha not seem murdered... her own siblings.. only two could have made it.... for everyone else could not come back from beyond... but she had no seem their demise... and she could barely recal the dancing spirits and shades of figured moving through the woods clearings dancing under the moon before becomign one with their trees once more... they were her in a sense... yet she could hardly recall... it had been so so long...

"huh?" Renata said snapping her head up and to attention once more having been so destracted by her thoughts and attempts at memory recalls of an old home, of a forest so vast and alive. "Oh yes, I mean good," she said blushing a shade of light pink in her day dreamy screw up. "Sorry," she said shaking her head with a small smile at her own foolishness.
