Katara saw her mare close by, anc whistled to her. The mare came forward and Katara mounted it, "5 miles beyond the north gate. That's where the wounded camp will be. 10 miles beyond the north gate is where every body else will be." She said. "Hurry. They put fire to the Inn, and it'll spreading. Driect people you find that are able to walk to where the camp will be. There'll be soliders along the road for protection. Let's hope the others are okay. I'll be in the next town, getting supplies and maps. I'll return to the camp by nightfall; tell Derak everything." She said with one last weak smile, before cantering off.
She stopped near the North Tower, finding an officer was ordering Soilders with her orders. Hmm. How conveient. The soilders set to their duties quickly. She sighed, waling from the village. The medic camp was setting up and the other camp was already covered with tents, woman, men and children. She said, riding through the camp quickly. After leaving the camp, she made note that it was close to 2 o'clock. She picked up her pace to a gallop.

((I'm just going to assume that Korrin somehow made it out safely.))
Enzeru kicked down the door of the burning building and ran up the steps two at a time. She heard screams coming from inside some of the rooms. With as much haste as she could, she went about helping the people out of the burning Inn. She was at the last few doors on the second floor, and had yet to see any of the dragoons. As she kicked down the last door in the hall, she saw a young boy crying in the corner, one of his arms badly burnt. When he saw her come through the door, he ran to her, gripping her arm with his good hand. "Please miss, you have to get me out of here." Enzeru nodded, picked up the kid and brought him outside with the rest of the people. She spoke to one of the men who worked at the Inn. "Did you get everyone from the first floor out?" The man nodded. She sighed with relief. "Ok, now everyone needs to go to the north gate." She handed the boy to the man as they all made there waay down the street, Enzeru keeping an eye out for any of the brutes that had attacked.

After a while, Enzeru spotted Quin with a large group of people in front of her. As the two groups merged, she started waving one hand in the air and cupped the other to her mouth. "Quin, hold up a sec."

Quin took a moment to steady his horse, as it seemed to want to run away from the smoke and flames. Then again so did Quin. He noticed that Enzeru was nearby with a group of towns people. The two groups met eac other, worried eyes flashing from side to side and the men protected the women and children from anything more.' Enzeru shouted, which was almost drowned out by the din of the burning buildings and the noise from the small crowd of people. He stopped where he was, waiting for her to show up. His horse continued to prance about, while Quin tried to will the creature still as much as he was trying to still it himself.

Enzeru hurried up next to him, taking a sec to sooth the horse, which calmed after a few seconds. "I was able to evacuate the Inn before there were any casualties, though there is a boy that got injured. What is your status?"

"Besides a few arguing town folk due to my... history, few problems. There were a few good lads that wanted to play their trade in this chaos, and paid the price. The fools. They should have ran away, would have been what I would have done." Quin just shook his head as he remembered the scene looking into one of the better shops in the town. Three of his fellow thieves had tried to steel from the store, only to confront the soldiers. It at least appeared that they had a quick death. "Families seem clear, these are the last of them." He waved his arm over the group he was following.

She looked down, a it disapointed in her old friend. As far as she could tell, most of, if not all of the enemy had been taken care of. As soon as we deliver these people to the north gate, we need to come back and look for any wounded that may be to weak to get here without help, or would you rather leave them to die like you did your friends?"

"I did not leave them to die. They were fools, and had already managed to get themselves killed before I could get there. What am I to do? Carried dead corpses back here?" A bit of anger and hurt could be seen in Quin's eyes as he burst out with the frustration. He wished he could have done something to help his friends, but they where the fools who happened to do a foolish thing and foolishly get them fool selves killed. "My section is clear. It was mostly businesses and only the owners needed to leave, with maybe a family or two. I even managed to send word to the smarter ones of my group to head for high grounds and get out of here." now he just had to hope that the message got through and they also didn't try anything too stupid.

The anger in Quins eyes came as no suprise, and Enzeru didn't really care that she was the one that caused it, but she did regret the pain. "I'm sorry. I see that even when I try to care, I only hurt people. I guess my heart was never meant to shine."

"No, you where right. It is a shame they died, but there was nothing I could do for them. Help the living and let the dead be." She had reasons to be angry just as much as he did, Sounded like she had better luck than he did though, for only one child was burned compared to his casualties.

As Kiana and Gill walked the now empty streets, she was disapointed to see that no one seemed to still be alive. All the bodies were simpy corpses that they were unable to get to on time. They had already gone round the whole town twice and were now headed to the north gate.

She walked on in silence as they finally arived at the north gate. The officers were trying to file the people through in an orderly manner, telling the injured to go to the nearest camp and all the rest to go to the other. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Kiana and Gill walking towards them. "I see that five of seven are accounyed for now."

(Just when you think it is safe, I throw in a curve ball on you.)
As Quin approached, he started to open his mouth when a swoosh of air could be heard from behind. "Enzeru.." he started to say, and then fell off the horse, an arrow sticking out of his back. On the far building, an archer could be seen standing on the roof. He was apparently aiming for Enzeru when Quin moved forwards.

Enzeru turned when she heard her name being shouted and saw Quin falling off the horse. She caught him as he fell and put him gentally on the ground. "You idiot, why did you do that?"

Kiana saw the arrow plant itself into the bays back as he fell. She quickly ran to the two of them and knealed down over the boy. She was shocked to see tht it was the same boy that she had run into earlier that day. Without saying anything, she reached into her bag and started taking different things out of it that she would nee to remove the arrow safely.
