Marcus had closed his eyes, but sleep didn't come. After a few minutes of staring at his eye lids, he decided to just abandon the idea of getting any rest. When he rolled over on his back, he saw Akido at the window. Marcus sighed and folded his arms behind his head, then asked, "You ok?"

Lost in thought she barely head heard his question answering distantly, "Yes. I am fine." Resting her head against the glass behind her head, the height did not bother her, nor did the prospect of falling. "Am I disturbing your rest?" Looking out she blinked slowly before turning to him, "You will have to forgive me, I am not used to having a room mate and I fear I do not make a very good one."

"No, I couldn't really sleep" he replied. Marcus swung his legs to the side of the bed and planted them on the ground. He made his way to the window Akido was looking out through and peered out it as well, trying to see what she was looking at.
After gazing through the window for a few seconds, he gave up and decided to just ask her. "What are you looking at?" He asked as leaned up against the wall.

Looking back to him, "Nothing in particular, just thinking for the most part. I prefer being outdoors given the option but it is no fun to walk around alone." Swinging her feet lightly everything seemed to remind her of home lately, making her wonder if her cousin had kept his word and those she cared for were safe. If this had been her home world she would have jumped, give her wings some use but it wasn't. These people couldn't even see the dragonfly like wings on her back.

Marcus stared out the window a bit as he thought. He didn't entirely feel like going for a walk, but it was obvious that Akido did so Marcus could muster through it. Marcus pushed himself off the wall and headed towards his boots, then called back to her, "So how about you and me go on a walk" He stepped into each boot and tied the laces, "Besides, I haven't really seen the garden at this place" He then looked up at her to see her response.

Akido looked to him a smile spreading across her features, "I heard the garden is amazing." Ducking her head she slipped back underneath the window pulling her legs so she could turn without falling. It was times like these where the glamour she had in place did not match the way she acted. Her appearance was to rough meant to keep people away and yet she delighted in their company. Going into her bag she pulled out a pair of simple flip flops slipping her feet into them.

Marcus had slipped on both his jackets and was ready to leave when a thought popped into his head. He quickly went to his bag and pulled out the 9mm, tucking it under his jacket so it wasn't visible. He made sure to have his back to Akido when he did this, he didn't want her to think he planned to kill her or anything. The reason Marcus brought the gun was just something he had come to live by, rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.
Feeling he had prepared all he needed, turning around to face Akido, he asked "You ready?" His hands now tucked into his jacket pocket.

Logan didn't give much of a response at first. He simply stared at the girl for a moment, taking notice of her original question.
Slowly, a small smile spread onto his face as he tried not to laugh.
"Room ten then?" he said, after a moment, the slight hint of a chuckle making it's way through his voice. "Alright, I can help you with that. Follow me."
He turned and began walking towards the stairs, a smile still spread across his face. He was used to getting such reactions and had begun to find it amusing, rather than irritating as most would think.
As he approached the stairs, he began to speak to her again.
"So you're probably wondering what happened to my eye?" he said, turning his head so he could see her clearly. "Childhood accident you might say. Teenage boy didn't like me. He picked a fight with me, I refused, then he hit me with a rock. I guess it did more damage than either of us had expected but hey, at least the vision in my other eye is even better now."

Cole stayed tucked against the wall as he watched the man walk by. The man was tall with dark hair and a regular looking appearance. There didn't seem to be anything different about him than any other normal human.
Cole watched from his spot as the man entered the building. He waited for a few more moments after he was out of sight before he even moved away from the side of the building. His body slowly turned back to normal, though he kept a weary eye on the door.
"Why's he here...?" he whispered to himself, in a voice that was just barely audible.

Damian continued to lap up the milk, making the cute tongue smacking sound that most cats produced while drinking. After a few more minutes, he pulled his head away, the bowl licked clean. He licked his lips as milk dripped off of his fur. He looked like he had a little milk beard running along his chin. It was difficult, after all, to lap up anything without getting it all over his mouth and chin. He swished his tail contentedly behind him as he continued to try to clean his face.

"Depends on your idea of fun" Luke said casually, leaning against the wall. Then he started speaking, listing off different things he knew the school had "We've got a hot spring, a pool, a lake, a big as garden, videogame room, TV's in our rooms, workout room, nearby forest, and a secret lab in the mountains full of a bunch of nuts that want us all dead" He said, managing to say the last part with a completely straight and calm face, acting as if it were nothing. Of course it was something, a BIG something, even he thought it was big; but he was more interested in finding out how BJ would react.

Teddy nodded and followed older man silently, horrified at her lack of manners. If this was how she was going to act, she could just see that what her future here was gonna be like. She could almost hear her parents words echoing in her head.

Notcing that he was talking to her again, she tuned back in to the current world, taking the stairs two at a time. When he had finished talking, she smiled and this time it was genuine. "And it's a beautiful shade of blue." she commented, not really thinking about what she was saying. She was just glad that he hadn't reprimanded her for her earlier rudeness.

Leaning against the opposite wall she didn't bother to hide her apparent disbelief, "I'm calling you on that one. BS. Nobody bothers with secret labs anymore. These days you want something dead you pass a bill not play club house in the backyard with a torture chamber." Watching his face she was pretty sure that it was all bull but there was only one way to be sure, go take a closer look sometime later. Hey if she was lucky she might even get a successful change so she could just waltz by like a bear and no one would be the wiser.

"Yes. Thank you for coming with me." Clasping her hands behind her back she walked to the door smiling to him, "You will have to show me the way. I've never been there." She never saw the gun he hid lost in her own world but she was back to the present and happy to be able to get out of the building and be in good company.

"Oh yes, because people with mutated genetics and inhuman abilities are so restricted by the laws of...anything..." He said, thinking about it for a moment. When you really considered it, some mutants could even disobey the laws of physics. "Really though, about the only way to get us all would be to bomb the entire planet, and for all they know we'd be more likely to survive then they would" Luke wasn't really sure if that was true or not, but it seemed possible.

"Anyway..." He cracked his neck slightly to the left "Ask anyone else and they'll tell you the same thing...well excluding anyone that just showed up within the last hour or two..."

Logan flashed the girl a polite smile at her comment.
"Why thank you," he said before continuing up the stairs. He walked silently for a few steps before a thought popped into his head. He turned to glance at the girl once more just as he reached the top of the staircase.
"I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? My name is Logan. Logan Sykes. I've been called Mr. Sykes, Professor Sykes, or just Logan. I'm the bio teacher here. It's a pleasure to meet you," he introduced, pausing at the top step.

Luna looked confused at Cole then back at the man, transforming back in to a human she looked at Cole, "Who the hell was he and how do you know him?" She noticed him look at the door like it was the devil.

Evening looked down at Mr. Catz and giggled before grabbing a napkin and wiped his chin for him, "You should be careful when drinking milk, if you were a human you could use a cup but your a cute little cat and have to use a cute little dish." She rubbed the top of his head and gave it a kiss, "I could just eat you up I swear."
