Franky sighed. "Indeed, you have met interesting people. Can you show me to where Alexia would be, then? I am sure Nathaniel has told her of the important news I told him the other day. I told him to tell all the people he must, and only them." Franky was getting frustrated, even though she was 2nd best in the house, she was no Nathan.

"And now you are annoyed again. Really, I do not think I shall ever understand you. You could check their rooms. Nathan may well even be in his. Do you know which it is?" Mallory does not really wait for an answer, but tells him instead. "I would accompany you, but I only seem to be causing you undo frustration. I am going out." Mallory heads outside, one hand in his pocket and the other raised in a wave goodbye. He did not know where he intended to go, but what did it matter? He never got far. He would not even be running this time. Mallory walked down the street on his aimless stroll, clearing his thoughts and attempting to just enjoy the day.

The second Mali left the room Lance looked away from the girl who was so annoyingly speaking to him. He wanted nothing more but to have the boy in his arms. "Pardon me miss, But I need to attend to something." He bowed politely and ran after the boy forgetting his shoes and shirt in the parlor. By the time he got outside Mallory was already at the end of the block. "Mali!" He called and ran to catch up with the boy. "Were you going?" He asked slightly out of breath. He was breathing heavily and skin shimmered slightly in the dim light that coated the streets. He looked concerned and his stocking-ed feet pranced lightly on the cold pathment.

( I cannot post at all anytime soon, i've been swamped with homework so until things calm down this will be my last post for the time being. Hopefully I will be able to catch up and post by this weekend. Thank you for continuing on with the roleplay, it's turning out even better than I had wished.)
After seeing the men that Al had brought into the house, I needed to escape for a bit. It didn't occur to me that she was going to bring in more than one man to the already crowded house. I stepped outside to see Dusk sitting along on the porch. I did not speak a word, all I did was take her arm in mine and walked off. I didn't know when I would be comming back, just that I needed time alone, I needed to get away from the insanity of the house. I looked back once, remembering that I had left a note for Al on the dinning table, explaining that untill I return she would be in charge. I knew it was a big responsibility but I knew of no one else who would be more than prepared for the spot. I ended the letter with a wish of luck and hope...

((Good luck with all of the homework.))
"Lance? What are you... Zut Alors, man, you are not wearing any shoes!" Of course Lance had admitted to not even wearing pants when he was at home. Why the lack of shoes surprised him so much was anyone's guess. Still, Lance did not look very comfortable. "Now I am going right back and so are you, oui? I have nowhere I needed to be. This house, it is just... everything is très dramatique! Even I seem to fall into several mini dramas on any given day. It is an exhausting way to live."
As Mallory spoke, he walked back toward the safe house with a hand at Lance's spine, gently urging him to come along as well. "Before it was only argue with my father, then fume in silence for Alexia's sake. It upsets her, I think, so I try to remain calm. She is very kind to me. I think she will not be pleased with me... I was supposed to keep an eye on the one named Dusk. You met her sister just now. And already Franky seems displeased with me though I cannot say if it is about earlier or some new transgression I have committed. I try very hard to be respectful, responsible, amicable. I just do not always succeed, it would seem. And now I have forced my story upon you under duress! Please forgive me; I should have better manners."

Lillith had been singing inside the Blood Moon nightclub on the west side of town when the fire had broken out. People started screaming and panicking. Some didn't make it out, others were seriously hurt, but would recover.Lillith stood there in a daze, watching the club burn, the flickering flames reflecting in her eyes as she shivered in fear. Once she realized that she was ok, other than emotionally numb, she started to walk away.
This war has taken enough from her, and from many that wanted nothing to do with it. Her fiance is dead, her job, the one place where she could still bring joy to people, was destroyed... even her parents were ready to give up on the hopes of a permanent peace. They had told her last week that they were thinking about movign to another city, one of the human ones where they could hide what they were and live a normal life for a change.
As Lillith walked down the streets aimlessly in her singer's outfit, she twisted the thin silver ring on her left, the only reminder she had kept of her dead fiance, wondering if there was any hope for peace left in the city...

Franky sighed and went to to look for Alexia's room instead. It would be easier to find her than Nathan.

Lance smirked slyly and stopped right in front of the boy, his feet were planted firmly on the frozen ground. "Don't act so formal Mali." he said looking down at him. "I love to hear about your life, Your so young, and yet so interesting." he Brushed a wave of blond hair off of the boy's forehead and kissed it softly. "Would you mind telling me what Zuft Aluorz Means?" he grinned widely the moment shattered by his inability to not let his misunderstanding of French flow by. “Because I think it means Dashing warrior.” He chuckled.

Lillith continued down the street, the shock of the club burning down finally hitting her, and she looked like she was in a daze as she neared the two men. She had soot on her pink and white outfit and ashes in her hair as she walked close to them and started to pass them by, almost as if she did not see them.

Mallory's cheeks turned pink as Lance brushed aside his hair and kissed his forehead. Then he chuckles softly. "You are teasing me! It is just an exclamation, but I suppose you may take from it whatever meaning you favor." Mallory looked about to say more, but he was distracted by the sight of a woman covered in soot walking past them. He was stunned and murmured to Lance, "One minute, s'il vous plait."
He turned from Lance and gently touched Lillith's arm. "Mademoiselle? Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Mallory looked around for signs of a fire or other wandering soot covered people. He had forgotten to even bring a jacket and regretted it only now as he had nothing to offer the woman but his concern.

Lillith was startled by the sudden touch and quickly turned around, her usually bright eyes dull. "Th-the club... th-they burned it down..." she whispered, swaying where she stood. Her skin was growing paler, as if the shock of it was draining the life right out of her body. "The Blood Moon... it's gone..."

Lance thought for a moment then unbuttoned his tight leather vest and draped it over the woman's shoulders. "My name is Lance, let’s talk about this inside." He quickly guided her into the safe house and after making sure Mal was inside as well, he sat her down in the parlor.
Al appeared in the door way of her room and nodded when she saw the woman. She ran off to find her a change of clothes and something to eat. Al returned seconds later her arms full. "Miss?" She asked kindly and knelt before the woman to place the food of the coffee table. "My I ask your name?" Al stood and started to help her out of her to take off the vest. She took up a warm, damp wash cloth and started to wash her face soothingly, getting all of the soot off of her skin.
Lance watched carefully, and went to fetch a blanket. He returned and wrapped the blanket around the girl’s legs and waist. "Just keep breathing and life will go on." he said his voice low and calm. He started to remove her burned sooty clothing making sure not to move to quickly.

Lillith put up no fight as she was guided to inside the house and sat down. She looked up at the woman talked to her. "I'm Lillith Hellborne..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "I... I sing... at the Blood Moon..." She slowly wrapped the blanket around her as her clothes were removed. "Someone... burned it... and we... we were inside... some of the people inside..." she looked down into her lap as she silently started to sob, tears slowly running down her cheeks.

Al nodded and helped her into the silk night gown she had found that would fit the girl. "Shhhh. Calm down or you will go mad." She said and started to work on combing out the girl's hair. She worked quickly, but gently, never tugging hard enough to feel. "Franky, I'll be up soon." She said with out looking away from her work.
Lance started to wash her arms and feet with a damp cloth. They were black with ash and the cloth came away black as well. "Lilly, Don't worry, your safe now," He cooed and looked up at her from is place near her feet.
