Finally finding Lila asleep on the couch, Derrik actually smiled. Wasn't she just the cutest thing? He almost hated to wake her. But then, she might like to actually try sleeping in her own bed. Derrik takes Lila's shoulder to gently shake her awake. "Come back to me now, Lili. this is no place to be taking a nap." Speaking of places to sleep... where the devil was he sleeping tonight anyway? Assuming he stayed in at all. He had not quite made up his mind.

I ran away as quick as possible from the angry muffin people. "Dear lord, why did I take a bite off the leaders head?!" I shouted on the tip of my lungs, than the earth started shaking, opening a giant hole in the ground. The muffin people and me fell in, the muffin people getting bigger and ready to gobble me up!

"AHH! Get away from me you no good muffins!" I screeched out loudly and failed my hands around and when my fist made contact with something solid, I opened my teary eyes to see Rick. I had accidentally; unintentionally hit him on the forehead. His head was bent backwards and before I knew it. I glomped him, and screamed random gibberish. "Dear god, save me from the evil muffin people! I really didn't mean to eat the leaders head! I didn't mean to hit you in the forehead either!"

Derrik was dizzy and disoriented. Also, a hysterical girl was clinging to him and yelling nonsense. This time he really did topple to the floor, dragging Lila down right on top of him. Well, at least now things were finally getting back to normal around here! Derrik laughed, one of those deep and uncharacteristic for him laughs. "I will protect you, Li. For I am the voracious muffin slayer. My trusty butter knife blade will assure my victory. Then I will abscond with you to your father's castle to demand your hand in marriage in return for my brave and manly deed." He hoped Lila calmed herself soon; he really couldn't help but just laugh while she was like this.

Nathan finished his lunch much more slowly then everyone else. After he was done, he went to his room and laid on his bed for a bit, trying to recollect himself from the brush up with Derrik. But, after a good 20 minutes, Nathan became bored and decided to go downstairs. As soon as he reached the living room, he heard a loud scream of nonesense from Lila and watched Derrik and her fall to the ground together. When he saw Lila land on Derrik, and heard his words, something tugged at Nathan's heart. He couldn't quite describe it. He felt...jealous. Nathan quickly ran to the pool through the kitchen's back door. He head out to the pool house and walked to the nearest chair. He quickly stripped of everything he had on, except for his boxer briefs, and dived into the pool. Nathan swam to the nearest cornor and leant his head against the edge. 'Damnit. What the hell is wrong with me? God!' Nathan sighed and closed his eyes, trying to think through his emotions.

... A few seconds past and when my head finally cleared out the dream, I heard what Rick said and I mentally slapped myself. "Wah! Sorry!" I flushed a deep crimson when I realized that I was on top of him on the floor and hurriedly got up and turned around and slap my face several times. Trying to get the heated feeling away. When I did the third slap, I winced in pain. The cut I had made earlier had come back and haunt me at the worst of times. That was when I felt a very irk some aura emitting behind me. I turned around and saw Rick looking at me like I was a comedy movie. "I don't think my father would accept your proposal when the muffin people eat you up too, bleh!" 'Besides, I have no father...'

Derrik's expression sobered very quickly and he groaned at his poor choice of words. "I'm sorry, Li. That was careless of me..." Was that Nathan? Where was he running off to? Derrik almost wanted to shout One unexpected drama at a time! Of course, this one was in own fault. He picked himself up from the floor, all traces of mirth gone from his expression. "In fairness, you already hit me, so let us just say I deserved it in advance and move on?"

Arnold sighed and walked out of the house, sitting on the smal porch-bench. They probably won't even notice my absence... Or even if the do, they won't care. Frowning, he looked at the ground and tried to think about hisa options. Arne knew that he needed to get treatment soon, but all of them that he knew of were to noticable. He really didn't want to bother his friends. If they even cared... Arnold knew, in his subconcious, that these thoughts were the result of his depression, but he didn't recognize that fact as reality and he thought that no one would ever really care for him. Sighing once again, he got up from the bench and walked over to the lawn. He lay down in the cool grass and gazed at the sky. He was so comfortable that he didn't realize that ants were crawling on him. Realizing how much he enjoyed just laying there, he continued to do just that.

When I herd Nate's name, it hit me as to why he would run away like that. 'Heh, that idiot.' I stood up and emptied my face of emotions and started heading towards the stairs and before I descended upstairs, I stopped and said something very quiet. "Go get him you tiger!" I yawned loudly and went upstairs. "Where am I supposed to sleep tonight? Please don't tell me I have to sleep on the couch tonight too!" I groan loudly and folded my hands behind my head and just walked back and forth the long hall way of rooms.
