eva's face seemed to mess up into what appeared to be a happy smile. "that was a compliment, asha. dont try anf think on it to much."

"Thanks then. Oh, you don't have to worry about that..." Of what Eva could see under Asha's arm her face was flushed and she was breathing uneasily. "I still don't feel too good..." Ruby climbed up onto the bed and trotted across Asha's knees around to her face to snuggle again.

"Thats.....kinda cool....no.....I think I'm just tired. I can barely stay awake.." As she spoke asha kept drifting, too tired to stay awake. Ruby was fussing about something, and kept rubbing against Asha's hand.

"ok asha, we'll let you sleep. the sun is setting anyways, so we should probably go eat....." eva said the last part with a wince in her voice because she didn't want to say it.

The pain in Eva's voice was apparent and struck Asha deeply. 'I wish I knew how to comfort her...' It was obvious to her when others were hurting. Something had always pulled Asha toward those she saw suffering. She would feel their distress and want deeply to help in any way she could. But this was harder....'All I can do is listen when she wants to talk to me....its pathetic...' Ruby rubbed against Asha's face hissing and snapping her out of her daze. "Huh? Whats wrong now?" She asked picking up the soft kitten.

"I doubt thats it...How long have you lived here? She would have done this before but...she hasn't." Asha said picking up the paniced cat and petting her. "There there Ruby, calm down. They wont hurt you see? They're just like me. Hush now." Ruby kept staring out the window hissing quietly until Asha sighed getting up. "Over there?" She walked to the window and stopped short when she saw where Sebastion had been sitting. "Oh....thats it?"

"I cant believe thats whats bothering you?! You fuzzy little rat! Your such a cat!!" Asha gave Ruby a tiny noogie pointing at the puddle of wolf blood on the floor where Sebastion had dripped. "I don't care if it smells like dog in here! If you hiss at me or your new friends again I'll bop you!! Shame on you Ruby!"
