Kay sighed as she saw Khana headed their way. This is not going to end well... she thought shaking her head. She listened to what Khana said and shook her head. Not everyone planned on coming back after this.

"This cannot be good," Satori said watching Khana and Kimmi.

((Couldn't think of much.))

Kimmi glared a Khana. Her sunshine and smiles shoved to the back, the real girl underneath coming out. She yanked her hand out of Kay's. "I'm not a child to be coddled and saved all the time." She hissed at them. "You wanna know what use I can be, this puppet master must have some kind of kick a** security to not have been taken out early on. That tells me he's in some kind of high security base with high tech lock down. I'm an A class hacker. I can hack my way into anything and everything." She snatched the gun from Khana. "As for the gun." She pulled the ammo clip checked it and the slammed it back into place. Pushing Khana aside, without stopping to take aim she shot the whole clip at a target that had been set up. Every bullet hitting its mark to make a perfect heart at the center. "I never said I couldn't use one." She shoved it back at Khana. "I said I wouldn't use one." Her tone was cold and harsh. "I play my role and do my part. Some times people need a smile and a few bright words more than they need a gun and a bullet in this hell."

She whirled away from them and headed back for the dirt bike she had pulled down. "You don't know me. You haven't even tried to know me. You just take what I offer and slam down my ideals. You don't care why I won't use a weapon just that you think I need one so I won't be such a burden to you. Well guess what sunshine is tired and taking a damn break. So deal with it and maybe I'll be back in a couple hours." She started the bike and took off.

Kay followed behind Pinky and waited until she stopped. "If you say we don't understand you, then why don't you try explaining it to me? Please." she asked.

"Thats the point! You have to survive long enough to get there!!" Khana yelled after Kimmi. She was also mad. Kimmi didn't exactly get why she was doing it either, though she did realize she was being insensitive. Not wanting to use a gun if you can help it, and completely refusing, were two completely different things. The fact that Kimmi was a great shot wasn't exactly relevant at the moment either.
Walking back into her tent, Khana's expression was hard. She got more clips out and went to the back of the camp.
Their were more targets set up out there, and Khana needed to get some of her anger out, so she started blasting them to pieces, making X's with her bullets instead of hearts.

((heh, this is turning out good, i thought it would be fun if two people that were going were fighting lol))

"Seriously, leave me alone." Kimmi snapped at Kay. "I'll be fine I just need some time to be alone and then I can go back to the way things were." She just needed to clear her head and remember why she was who she was. They needed her to be smiles and sunshine or their moral tanked. Any change in her attitude could cause them to loose faith. Any faultier in her smile could make the children have nightmares or become withdrawn. "It doesn't matter you don't need to understand me. I was just mad. I'll apologize to Khana when I get back." She said as she climbed the last rung of a fire escape and onto a roof. "I just need some time to pull myself together."

It was so hard to wake up every morning in this hell and smile all the time. Keeping up the cheeriness enough to convince even herself was getting harder by the day. When she had arrived with the group it had been who she really was, now it was more of who she forced herself to be for them. They needed her to be smiles and sunshine. They needed to hear her brighter outlook and giggles. It made things more tolerable for them. They needed her silent support and silly antics to keep them going. So that's what she gave them. She bounced back from upset and reassured them that no matter what every thing would be ok.

All of them had lost so much, giving them that little bit seemed the least she could do. But sometimes it was harder than they realized. Sometimes her smiles cost her more than she let on. She was tired and having someone you considered a friend shove a gun in your face made it hard for even her to force a smile. At the same time she didn't want them to know how tired she was. How she hardly slept anymore because of the nightmares. How she usually gave most of her portion of meals to the kids because she just couldn't bring herself to eat. They didn't know she was unsure of who she was anymore or that she often stopped somewhere when scouting and had a good cry by herself. She was just a kid, and they all forgot that.

"You know you don't have to take the burden all by yourself!" Kay shouted up to the roof. "That's what friends are for! To lean on each other for support... Not just on themselves." At least that what I feel friends are... Kay put her hands in her jacket pocket, and pulled out a cigarette to light. "I'll be down here whenever you're ready to go back!" she shouted to Pinky. I won't let you all suffer for all this...

Kimmi sighed. Everyone else had their role and she was the only one who refused to use a weapon. It was only natural she contribute extra somehow. Besides she wasn't the kind for telling her problems. She sat on the roof and looked over the city. So much death and violence. Was it really surprising that a bright spirit would be crushed by this? She layed back so she could only see the sky. Without realizing it she drifted off to sleep.

She didn't know how long she had fallen asleep for but she was jolted awake by a scream. Only to realize it was her own. She sat up and laughed at herself as she ran her hand through her hair. She had woken herself up with her own scream. She sighed and put her hat back on her head as she rubbed her eyes.

Khana stayed out, shooting at the targets for hours till their weren't any left, but were completely blown apart. When her last clip ran out she pulled the trigger a few times to only hear a clicking sound and finally threw the gun at a tree, regretting it instantly. She put her hand to her head, like she had a head ache and walked over to pick up the gun.
But before she reached it she smelled the stench of rotted flesh and ran over to the gun quickly, picking it up before turning toward the scent. She still had one clip left in her other gun.
And then a lone zombie walked casually into the clearing, like any normal person, no moaning or groaning, nothing like that. In fact, she could only tell it was a zombie because of the smell, the grayish tinge to the skin, and the slight pealing on its arms.
It walked toward her and stopped about 10 feet away and spoke "Its futile, you won't find the Master." and pulled out a longsword from behind its back.
At first, Khana had been too stunned by its clear voice to react, and when she finally shot at it, it deflected the bullets with it's sword.
After that it wasn't long before she was out of bullets, and had nothing but her empty guns to work with, but that didn't mean she was helpless.

Kimmi reached in her pocket and pulled out the gps locater and checked on her little dots. Kay was still near her own dot and bubbles was near hero. Khana was the only on by itself and it was bouncing around. Kimmi frowned, if she's mad she's shooting. Why would she be moving around if she's shooting? "Kay! Somethings not right with Khana!" Kimmi yelled down as she slid down the fire escape ladders. It took her seconds before she was on the dirt bike and quickly approaching Khana's location. If only for peace of mind that she was fine.

Khana was now wielding her two guns like hand blades that you hook on your hands... only problem was, they weren't sharp. She could deflect or block the zombie's blade as well as attack with the other, but any blow to anywhere but the head had little to no effect. And even with the head, the brain would have to be bashed in for it to really do anything, and the zombie knew it.

Kimmi quickly asses the situation as she approached. "Khana jump!" She yelled as she tipped the dirt bike and sent it spinning towards the pair. She tumbled a little more roughly than she had intended and winced when she hit a tree and felt her left shoulder pop. Glad I'm right handed. She pushed to her feet as fast as had fallen and retrieved the clip of ammo she kept in her pouch. "Quick!" She yelled throwing it at Khana.

Kay leaped onto the zombies chest and held her blade poised to strike. "What do you want?" she practically growled. "What they hell does your master want with me!" she asked shaking the zombie as she shouted. The zombie only laughed. "Don't worry the master has big plans for you. Big, big plans for the destroyer. You where the first and now you'll be the last." the zombie finished giggling madly. "WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!" Kay shouted shaking the zombie madly.

"Kill it!" Kimmi yelled. "It's not gonna tell you anymore than it's told to!" She looked to Khana. "Shoot it! Before it calls for help and brings more to the camp!"

Khana jumped without hesitation and then caught the clip that was thrown to her without thinking. With Kay on the Zombies chest, Khana took that as her chance, shooting the zombie in the back of the head about 6 times.
That downed it and she said "it wasn't going to tell you anything Kay..." to make up for killing her lead.
Then she muttered, "maybe i should carry a blade too... at least that doesn't run out of ammo..."
