Kirai leaned against him. "Alright then. I'll just have to help you get up and down the stairs until then." She smiled, then laughed. "Now, I'm really happy you were able to treat me so well without your glasses."

"Well, I cheated alittle. My senses, along with my sight improve while and alittle after I shift. So, I worked face. I could just keep my eyes shifted, but its a waste of energy." He chuckled slightly. "Besides, why would I pass up a nice walk down the steps with you?"

Avarice could help but grin, laying out across the bed and pull her close as carefully as he could. "I can think of one reason. She happens to be in bed with me." He laughed.

"That's plausible." Kirai said, blushing just a little. "It is nice again, like how it was yesterday. Except today, we won't have to end it with any sort of violence or depression of the sort."

Kirai hadn't actually noticed, but then looking twords the door in the hall she realized he must of been there for a while. "Do you want to call him in?"

Kirai for a moment had no reaction, then smiled softly. "When he wakes up, I'll have to make him something to eat." She put her head near Dr.Avarice's shoulder. "You know... when I heard Edward's gun go off... at that moment, I truely hated him. And when Mimicry was there and I was with Gregory, even with the knowledge she wouldn't try to take him, I still was ready to fight for him."

He chuckled. "Yes, we're a strange, dysfunctional family we you look at it."
He tilted his head to kiss her forehead. "You're welcome, but I should be thanking you. If not for you, I'd prbably be locked away in my lab, miserable and alone..." He said, tilting his head back dramatically.
