"Rene', sweety, why don't you go in the back and get one of your pick me ups? I have them in the cooler for you." Akash said eyeing the flush. "And you're worried about having babies?"
Rene' settled A'shi down giving the little one a pat on his curly head and went to the back to find the cooler.
Raffh smiled weakly. "Tell Fire top I'm all right if he asks." he rested his head on the coon as they went up the stairs. "I don't want him distressed."

Chiron looked away, rubbing the palm of his hand up and down his arm. "...I saw my mother while she was with child. She looked miserable. It scares me."
"Don't worry about Chiron right now." He leaned down, brushed his lips against the kitten's forehead, and then pulled back to gaze at him lovingly.

Akash tilted a eyebrow. "Was she in love with the man who child she bore?" He asked clipply. "A babe can be a wonder or a curse and how you feel about your relationship with the sir makes the different."
AKash eyes laughed. "Morning sickness is a pain and the bloating of your belly makes you feel fat but the love in your mates eyes and holding something that is made of both yoru love is worth it."
Raffh ears flickers, and he reacted to the kiss tilting his face up to look up into Demetrius face. His hand raised up and shakely ran down the other's cheek. "All right..." He needed to get himself back on track..fix his own hurts right now.

"I..." He bristled, honestly, just thinking about Aaron. "I don't know. I think she loved him. Maybe it was only lust. But...he wasn't her husband. It was the child of her lover...her...slave, actually." He paused, canting his head to one side, and then sighing. "I suppose she couldn't have been very happy, knowing that Saturnius would be within his rights to kill her, or make her a prisoner again, if he found out."
Demetrius leaned into the caress, a gentle murr of pleasure coming from him, and then he smiled again softly, halfway up the stairs.

Akash looked back checking on Rene'. Seeing the vampire was happily sucking down his blood pack, yummy, he turned to Chiron. "I can't tell you to have children, but do not base your judment on just that. You could have no problems what so ever."
The murr made him smile slightly, he was around people who loved him. Brother loved him it was just brother was angry. That was all he needed to know right now.

It was good that this talk was being had while Chiron was still in a semi-serious mindset. Well. Not that that it probably wouldn't cause a serious mindset, but had he been more...himself, he probably would have brushed the topic off entirely, chosen not to deal with it. Blocked Akash out. As it was, he was actually thinking about things. "I...know. At least, I think I know. But it's still frightening, to me. And..." Sigh. "I don't think I'd make a very good parent, honestly. But it would make Raffh happy, wouldn't it? Demetrius too, I'm sure he'd be thrilled. And Rene'. My entire family. Am I just being selfish?"
Demetrius sensed the change, and continued smiling down at Raffh, bending to plant yet another kiss on his forehead.
Tobias led Arick out of the shop and onto the road outside, tugging him with a smile in the direction of the Apartments.

Arick really didn't needed to be tugged, but he follows the other cat happily. He keeps his tail wound around Tobias' leg, purring happily as he snuggles against the cat, purring gleefully.

"I'm lucky I met you tonight." Tobias purred. He had actually managed to sober somewhat - never having been that drunk in the first place - and thoroughly enjoying the cat's company.

The black kitty raises his golden orbs up to look at Tobias, grinning lightly. "Far from lucky." he smirks, "A fair warning, though I should tell you, since I am to help brake in your apartment."

"Extremely gifted my friend." he looks up into the night sky, the moon shining down on his face, almost making his skin/fur glow. "A warning that I am an amazing partner in bed. My housemate and previous lover couldn't get enough, and my other previous lover was almost the same. I seem to have a special talent in bed." he nods, eyes flicking towards the other cat to see his reaction.

Tobias blinked, and then smirked long and hard. "Are you now? I don't see how that's a warning, really. Unless you're afraid of me trying to stalk you." And perhaps...perhaps, if this were true...he could distract Tobias for a while. Not that the cat was in danger of completely forgetting Ari. He was fixated on his kitten, or, as Tobias would more flatteringly put it, very determined.

"Well, just warning you that you may want more than one night." he giggles and flicks his ears, continueing his previous actions of snuggling. He mentally chidded himself, then why did the other two leave you? Angel, for once, had a mate and children and hell, grandchildren already! As for Gazali, he just dissapeared one day.

Arick shudders at the purring in his ear, then giggles happily at the nibble. That's what I'm partially afraid of. He continued to mentally chid himself.
