___________ Do I know you?

A little disappointed, though he wasn't expecting anything and merely asked for complete closure, his face fell slightly.

"Ah, well thank you," he replied quietly, "I was in a very bad accident a couple months ago, and I lost my entire memory. I've had to start my life completely over, and I'm hoping that by wandering the Muse I can find someone who's known me before the accident, and possibly help me figure some things out."

Explaining his situation was always a little awkward for Jack, like admitting a deep, dark secret, but he was happy to share any and all information with complete strangers. What did he have to lose? Trying to lighten up, he smiled and gave Electra a faux-confused look.

"Where is Kendal? Huh! She probably ran off..."

{ - Kendal - }

As if on cue, two riders shoot around a corner not far down the street. The drivers seem to be racing as they tear through the corner and start a dramatic weave between other cars on the street, totally oblivious to which side of the road they are supposed to be in. Horns sound and high beams are flashed, but in vain as the bikes have often passed the offended vehicle a split second before the driver has gotten a chance to respond. In a heartbeat, the Ducati, claims the win, skidding to a halt just in front of where the group is waiting. The other bike pulls in beside her, and a man dismounts as Kendal removes her helmet.

"Not bad, Simon." she calls to him enthusiastically, "But you still got whipped by a girl." The other rider turns as he pulls off his helmet, giving Kendal a one fingered salute before passing the headgear to Jack. Kendal responds with a laugh. Shifting her attention to Emily, she gives her a grin. "You ready Sugar?"

Emily Kane-Living Doll

Emily watched what she could of the race, only to be startled by Kendal's appearence. Emily smiled, completely impressed by Kendal's win. its was somthing she had not seen before, bikes or races. And Kendal seemed extremely good at on both. Emily paid little to no attention the man, Simon, but took the few steps between her and Kendal and said, "Yes," Enthusiastically, it was all she could think to say, not knowing what else there was to say to such a question.

Kendal laughs, finding Emily's honest surprise amusing and endearing. "Alright then!" she tells her, offering the helmet to the girl. "Slip that puppy on and slide on up here behind me." Her other hand lightly pats the seat cushion. Turning her attention to Jack, "There is another helmet sitting on the back of the bike you'll be using," she points out to him, "One for each of you."

"Em, if there anywhere in particular you want to see first? Bright lights, big city? Dark alleys and dangerous turns?" She grins again, "Big speed bumps to get some air..?"

Electra nodded empathetically, listening to him. There was a portion of her that felt the same. She'd always wondered about the memories the human had befor her. The scientist nor Electra had been able to recover them. It was a pity.

And then Kendel showed up. Smiling, Electra picked up the helmet and slipped it onto her head. "I'm ready when you are," she told Jack enthusiastically.

Emily Kane-Living Doll

Emily accepts the helmet from Kendal, puts it on, and slides on the bike behind Kendal. She then considered her options, the ones Kendal gave her. The circus was unexciting... In her eyes, and she liked the though of dark and danderous. "I don't really like lights," she offered, and it was completely true. At the circus she was only content in her own dimly lit trailer, rather than the bright lights shining down on her when on display. When people come up and touch her porcelin face. Living Doll, She giggled.

"I realise it may sound a little strange, but you do specialise in the extraordinary."

Well, now. One didn't stand there, towering like some gawking giant over the lady once she was seated. It would be impolite, or some such nonsense. Thus, umbrella was deftly flipped upward, leather-clad hand catching the iron-shod tip, the engraved handle snaking out to ensnare a nearby chair. Drag drag, thump, and voila!, the good Reverend settled himself down in the chair, facing the Lady, those gloved hands fastidiously smoothing his coat out. It wouldn't do at all to wrinkle it, now.

The good Reverend listened to the Lady's words while his eyes absently wandered over the various "trim" moving about... he always did love this club. It attracted the prettiest women, in the most easy-access clothing. His eyes refocused at her query, however. Rarely was he called upon for his professional acumen, and business now paid for pleasure later. As such, the good Reverend cocked his head to the side in thought, depositing his grand hat atop the handle of his umbrella and running a leather-encased hand over the bald palate of his skull as he considered.

"My dear Miz Francesca, a request from you is like the summons from a god. Of course I attended to it quickly. But as to your query, well: There is no shortage of evil little circuses wandering about, especially on more... hrmm... primitive planets. As to events such as that here? Well, I have heard from several little birds that a large plot of land in the seedy part of town has been claimed, though I've not looked at it myself. A favour to you I'd be willing to do, if you're curious of having it checked out."

«<{ Thorne }>»

Thorne sat quietly, sipping on the mouth-numbing drink dear Avery had made for her, slowly letting her mind unwind from the nights activities. But when the man in the elegant suit and hat approached the bar, a single thin brow arched in her angular features... usually the only person she ever saw wearing such "finery" was that creep of a man, Reverend something-or-other. As the gent paused, looking for a tender, Thorne took a final sip of her drink, and unhooked her heels from the rungs on the stool, turning to face him.

"Heyas, you looking for something in particular? The 'tenders are a bit busy getting folks their last rounds before they leave for the post-White Noise cool-off, but I can prolly help you out, if you'd like...", Thorne offered with her cheerful smile to Nathan.

"Well then, maybe we'll just take a gander around the gothic sector," Kendal replies, "It's mostly just old street lamps illuminating the roadways, but the architecture is awesome. Lots of creepy gargoyles and tragic angels carved from stone."

Glancing back at Jack and Electra, "You two ready over there?" she asks them. Next she murmurs to Emily, "Hold on tight sugar. There are no speed limits here.."

Impressed with, though not surprised, at Kendal, Jack grinned as he took the headgear with a gracious nod.

"Thanks - great race, Kendal... here ya go, Miss Electra" he said cheerfully as he took the helmet sitting on the back and handed it to Electra, believing it to be the least tainted by sweat and whatnot.

Jack slipped gracefully onto the bike and searched with his hands, legs, and eyes to get familiar with the structure and feel. He was excited to ride, and hoped Electra would take it well, especially the speed.

Strange Little Horror
Leila Bellport
----------------The doctor is in

Inhabitant," Leila murmers, presenting it almost as a question. She listened intently to Marie's explanation, who spoke of the thing as if it was, or had been, a person.

"Mmm, no. I haven't been there..." Leila was quite interested in this shop of which Marie spoke, wondering if there would be anything for sale that she could afford.

"This... shop... is open to the public? To me?" Leila would certainly make her way downstairs to find Nox's as soon as her engagement with Marie was done, though she was in no real hurry.

{ - Marie - }

"Indeed it is," Marie tells her with a smile, "Nox sells exotic items collected from all around the universe. It's really a very fascinating place, even if you are only looking. Sometimes the Mistress will rent out use of some of his items in order to entertain particular groups or functions. Nox himself is quite the character as well." Marie giggles a bit this time, humour lacing her words. "I think his true calling was an actor. He always makes sure to enter and leave with a flourish."

Turning her unfocused gaze back to the tapestry, she tilts her head as if examining it. "Nox is also much more social then he," she murmurs, as if to answer a question.

Nathan made his way rather, begrudgingly towards the bar. It was taking him longer than expected to find what he needed. He couldn't help but grin at all the beautiful women on the dance floor. He tore himself from the spectacle, and sat down at the bar, pondering what he should order.

She stood slowly, still careful of the orb, and squinted in the direction of the camp, as if the exact wagon needed would pop out for her. She nodded, making a face as if determined not to speak or make any noise whatsoever.

[ Sorry for the late post. I'll try not to let it happen again ]

WILHELM

"Come with me, young one. We will find her together." I motion for her to follow and begin towards the main set of wagons. Deftly, I move through the rubble and large chunks of concrete and reach the first wagon. I look back at the girl, bringing my finger to my lips to indicate that we should be very quiet. Without drawing attention to ourselves, I lead the young lady behind and around the various obstacles until we come to a certain wagon. With one last glance back towards Corin and her thugs, I motion for the child to move up the steps to the door.

"This is the one. Knock three times, then pause, then knock twice again. That is the secret knock. It tells her that we are not one of the enforcers. I will keep watch and make sure you are not seen." I tell her quietly.

Freya

Freya stepped out of the taxi cab in the gothic district of New Berlin. As she stepped away allowing someone else to occupy the cab she looked around at the architecture of the district. She reeled a little as her vision blurred momentarily. She cursed under her breath as she steadied herself on a nearby lamp post.

After she collected herself she began walking toward what she hoped was a hotel of some kind, yet at the same time hoping it wasn't considering the condition of the exterior. She was hoping to stay in something a bit more luxurious considering her mood, but at this point she couldn't really risk wandering around too much.

She approached the archaic building, making note of the sign stating the hotel's name "Letum." Her Latin was rusty but she knew that didn't mean something good. She brought the lapels of her coat up around her face, scratching at the headpiece that concealed her ears, and pushed open the heavy doors.
