Her tummy was growling and her lips where a bit parched... that's what was keeping the girl from just standing at a distance from the rest of the group like she felt the urge to do. She knew she would be better off now to stay with them then to be buy herself... So she sighed softly to herself and kept examining one of the closer tree's for coconuts. Chiyoko knew that there were plenty of them around, but she had to work to strain her eyes to find some because she wasn't finding any.

[sorry for the sort post... I'm exhausted....]
Her exhaustion was visible through her tired eyes. She was lagging a little as she looked for her ultimate goal. "Where are they..." she mumbled to herself. Finding coconuts shouldn't be this hard... They should be large and noticeable, but she really couldn't see any and it was rather annoying....

Zoku frowned at Tsuigi's comments. Even thought Zoku had been trying to kill Seiko the first year they knew each other, she didn't think of that and only thought brashly of how he was talking about eating Jio's when Chiyoko was his other half. It didn't seem to bother the ghost girl as she immediately went searching for food. Zoku figured that most Jio's from her time were as daft and spineless as she. She watched the girl look around for food with her sunrise eyes until Seiko called her name. Her eyes immediately looked in the direction he was pointing and lit up. "That's the lizard," she said in surprise, slightly amazed that a Jio who lived on the mainland was able to spot a lizard such as this so quickly. "Catch it quick! Don't take your eyes off of it," Zoku said, immediately taking cash after the lizard, hopefully pushing the lizard in Seiko's direction or pouncing on it successfully herself.

Zoku was amazed that she had the strength to grab the lizard this quickly! As she held it in her hands, she quickly snapped its neck in order to make it stop wiggling. With a smile on her face, she held the small lizard with both hands as she walked over to a fire. The fire had been burning since they had arrived. The Meho's probably hadn't used it for cooking, but it was likely burning now before the sun completely set. "How should we cook it?" Zoku asked Seiko. She had never really cooked since that was her mother's duty in their little hut. She had seen lizard be used for stew and lizards roasted on a stick. She figured that if they wanted to eat and get full they'd make a stew, but Zoku had never done such a thing and wouldn't even know where to start. She was sure this lizard was good to eat raw as well, but that would be rather tasteless and selfish if she were to eat it by herself. "A stew..." Zoku suggested as she looked at Seiko. She then turned to Tsuigi with a frown on her face. "Take back what you said about the Jio's and we'll make a stew for you two as well," the girl offered Tsuigi.

Tsuigi simply smiled at the boy's outburst. These Jios wherent like the ones he had seen before,they seemed strongwilled and more Meho like than he had expected. He turned again towards the boy and pointed at the other Mheo girl with his sword. " Hey wasnt your partner the one just a while ago speaking up that WE no longer where Meho or Jio? WE are supposed to be Heikou right? Stop being so sentimental about it, I just stated the obvious! Ill be glad to take a bite off ya if you still feel like it but it be a shame to eat you." Just the the girl who was starting to cook a lizard they had found He would have just bitten its head off just right there but apparently she was trying to fit in a bit with the two Jios " You insist in calling him a Jio when you yourself called us Heikou.! Ill never understand you people. Besides we are hanging out with the number one Jio eater as a mentor and Im the bad guy? Keep yours stew if you want. I dont go with demands for food. You can have coconuts if you like. After all i do owe touchy guy over there" He wasnt very good at making friends and his way of speech was really harsh and rude but in reality this was the best he had behaved towards a person in a long time. Standing right under some other palm trees he placed the sword leaning on it and placed his hands on the trunk. His right arm still hurt from the spike wounds but he payed little to none attention it and concentrated on looking out for coconuts

As he looked upwards he noticed what he was looking for. On the top of the palm tree there was about 5 to 6 coconuts, ready to be taken down. He walked right to it and walked around the trunk trying to find a way to climb over to it. He tried grabbing onto the edges of the trunk but the shape was so round and even that his hands where no good to hold him enough. " Ok now this will be nice" Tsuigi took off his sash and stretched it completely. He grabbed it by one side and placed his sword on his back. The ripples in the trunk where really thin but with the sash he might be able to hold onto them. Tsuigi placed the sash around it and holding each end with each hand and pulled tightly towards him and pressed his right leg on the trunk. With a little effort he began to climb, Pushing up with his legs making little jumps to move the Sash cloth little by little upward and with his body making wigth backwards to keep the sash tight at the trunk.
Once he was high enough, Tsuigi tied the end he was holding in his right hand around his left hand in order to keep his right hand free. Taking his sword he sticked it into the trunk as hard as he could and then steeped over it. From this pisition here he could stand normally at arms length of the coconuts " Hey! Catch!" With that the boy grabbed the coconuts one by one, ripped them from their holding place and began to throw them down at the others. Once he was done he simply dropped from the sword, and while going down he he grabbed the hilt of his sword using his own weight to dislodge it from the palm tree.

"Mff!" Zoku grunted as Tsuigi corrected her and Seiko. He was right, they were Heikou now and she shouldn't be viewing Seiko as a Jio. "Its hard..." Zoku admitted as she thought about how hard it would be to overcome the fact that Zoku and Seiko were not from opposite sides of the roots of the island. Zoku decided to take an old skull and begin warming water from a nearby pond. Throwing in some grasses and such, she began cooking the lizard. While letting the mixture boil, Tsuigi climbed up a tree. He had finally spotted some coconuts and was going to throw them down. Walking underneath the tree, Zoku caught them. She could bash them open easily, but instead she tossed them over to Chiyoko. "You haven't done anything," the Meho said to the other girl as she let the coconut fly at her with a soft underhand throw. She was going to give the girl her kunai as well, but she realized she didn't have it. Zoku figured she must've lost it in the struggle. She still had those worthless shuriken. "Seiko... I'm not gonna use these. Ya want them? Or should I give them to..." Zoku asked, her sunrise eyes looking over at Chiyoko. She then realized just how even their group was. There were four of them, pairs of two. "Mmff," she grunted scratching at her eye rather roughly. It reddened quickly as she scratched at it, feeling uncomfortable with everyone around her.

Seiko stood up as he listened to everyone. When Zoku began to speak he remembered he had left his weapons in the mehos he had dropped. Standing and walking towards the fallen bodies he stopped next to Zoku and grabbed her hand. "We aren't even, we are stronger, we work better together. Besides Dhan is here." Seiko knew Zoku's habits well, she was always uneasy with things being even. Walking closer to the Meho bodies he yanked the Kunai out the mans skull and let the body fall. "Give it to her, I will show her how to use it when we have time. She needs to be prepared for whats ahead of us. " Seiko said knowing he would have to be a step ahead because he gave away valuable weaponry. Which now meant he couldn't miss. As he placed his own kunai in his bag he held onto Zoku's. He had spotted a lizard in his view. It was crawling over the first Meho he had killed. Looks like there would be more lizard on the menu.

I'm trying to keep up with my posts, but thanksgiving break is yea... a pain and keeping me busy. But I'm gonna post as often as I can!!! Chiyoko wasn't exactly sure what everyone was talking about... but that comes with walking into the group at a very seemingly stressful time for the group... She was still unsure of the whole Heikou thing... but all she really did understand was that she needed to stick close to shark-tooth... he had saved her and even with the rotten attitude he was giving everyone, she knew that she had to stick to him... and to this strange group, otherwise she was sure to be eaten alive by the meho's still running around the island. She bit her lip as she listened to the soft conversation between the other jio, and the female meho. I'm not the only one confused.... the girl mumbled as she began to think aloud again. Just then, she looked up to see the girl toss a coconut at her. With a mumbled, "Sorry..." she caught the coconut and then turned to the Jio boy as he began speaking about teaching her and making sure that she was prepared for what was ahead... In some ways it was a bit comforting knowing that someone was looking out to make sure she was prepared for what was coming ahead... All she could do was turn her head down to the ground with the tiniest of smiles and then turned back up to see if she could spot anything else while she figured what to do to get this coconut open....

Dhan was busy looting anything of value in the tent when the cat interrupted and voiced his concerns. " That's exactly why we are leaving the island, they won't follow us." He replied with no indication of concern. " We'll make camp somewhere in the mainland and I'll train the children to fight." Guessing the cat would ask his plans he spoke up first. Dhan seemed to have gathered everything he wanted from the warlords tent into a bag which he now tossed over his shoulder. " Tell them my plan, make sure they gather what we will need to make our own camp then outside Runners bay later, I'm going to scout ahead." He laid out his orders and ducked out of the tent. Outside Dhan went straight for Ikatsui - Ago with a cloth in hand he wiped the blood clean from the weapon and secured it on his back under the pack of supplies. Afterwards he wrapped Rakkou's head in the bloody cloth and tied it to his belt, later it would be turned into a trophy. Without a word he left on his own. Too many thoughts cluttered his mind he needed time to think on his own, besides the children looked like they would not be able to handle another fight and Runners Bay was a powder keg waiting for a spark.

"Very well," Neko-Jiji said with a nod as Dhan left the tent. "Hrmmmeow~" the cat hummed to himself as he began to purr. Maybe Dhan wasn't as thoughtless as he anticipated! Walking out of the tent, the cat smelt a terrible and foul smelling stew. He heard their bickering from the tent and shook his furry orange head. "Eat quickly. We have some training to do..." the cat grumbled as he hopped up on a pile of rubble before sitting down. "Zoku, Tsuigi. Come," Neko-Jiji beckoned the two Meho's over first. "I must teach a technique used by the Meho's in order for you to protect your Jio counterparts. Alone, you are Meho's. Together you are Heikou. We must draw out your individual strengths first before you can become complete Heikou," Neko-Jiji explained as his tail flipped back and forth. "I am going to teach you about ninjutsu. It is a physical form of attacks and as Meho's you use the physical form of water to aid in your ninjutsu," Neko-Jiji coughed and gagged as he felt another hairball coming up. "You're going to learn the twelve seals of ninjutsu," Neko-Jiji said as he raised his head behind the Meho's. "Seiko! Open the book of Heikou to the tenth page," Neko-Jiji said as he hopped down from the rock to round over to the book. "Study these twelve hand seals and commit them to memory. I'm going to ask you what each one stands for as well," Neko-Jiji said, sitting down by the book that Seiko would lay out. "Begin with the basic, Ox, for damage," Neko-Jiji said, reading the book to them, putting a paw on the first old drawing of two hands in the Ox seal.
Tsuigi and Zoku: Hand Seals
Meho's are more adversed and talented in Ninjutsu than the Jio's. Neko will train you to understand the basics of Ninjutsu in order to learn powerful techniques later on. You'll understand and learn three seals with one successful roll.

After not finding anything else up in the tree's Chiyoko sighed quietly to herself and returned her gaze back to the coconut in her hand. "Might as well figure out what to do with this...." she mumbled to herself as her face scrunched up a little bit into a thoughtful scowl. It was rather tough and she knew she wouldn't be able to pull it apart with her hands. "I need to break it open with something..." she mumbled as she began searching the ground. She knew she either needed something sharp or something really hard to break it against. With a small sigh, she looked at one of the close by trees, and an idea hit her. Without a word, she shuffled her feet over to it. Biting her lower lip, she brought the coconut up over her head and tried smashing it against the bark of the tree.

The coconut was almost cleaned and ready to be cut in half. Tsuigi had lifted his sword with both hands over his head ready to strike down to cut a hole at the top of it when the cat came out of the tent and called out his name. He jerked his face in the direction of the tent and bared his teeth in disgust as he was used to doing." We loose the hag and now a Furball is going to teach e how to fight? Hey Ghost girl, save me some juisce of that." He lowerd Yoku-Akogii and headed in the felines direction curious in a way to see what this talking beast could offer.
Once in place the cat Neko-Jiji showed them the handseals commonly used to perform ninjutsu. Tsuigi placed his blade in the ground, sticking the tip on the earth and fixed his Sash before speaking. " Agh, handseals. I never understood that. Give me something heavy and ill be sure to make it hit hard. This Ninjutsu nonsense i never got." The cat had spoken of being Heikou and how learning Ninjutsu could help them in battle so if he could get stronger with it, hed give it his all, Becoming strong was what mattered. He took a quick glance over the pictures of the book and tried to imitate what he was seeing but as it was expected hi was all thumbs with such technical stuff.

"Bashing this coconut open is going to be harder then I thought..." she mumbled to herself. This coconut was tougher then she had imagined. She turned her head when she heard shark-tooth speak out to her. All she did was nod her head a little bit in his direction, and then turn back to the tree she had been facing. Biting her lip again, she eyed the coconut that he held above her head, and then the tree again. This time she bashed the coconut as hard as she could against the tree, closing her eyes as she swung her arms.
