Tess halted when Arkell whirled around to yell at him. He gave a low whine, suddenly unsure of what to do. He'd followed her out on a mere whim, and he wanted to... well, he wanted to comfort her, or something to make her -not- upset, but he'd never done that for anyone... He didn't continue walking for a few moments, trying to decide what the hell to do. "Damn it... Damn it..." he muttered under his breath, closing his eyes and shaking his head a bit.
"I was being an a** to that jerkwad, and I didn't know it would upset anyone else." he growled out, loud enough for her. He clenched his teeth a bit and found that hurt because his recently acquaintances with a fist, a foot, and the floor. A grimace came, and he shifted forwards to follow Arkell again. "I... You... You could've said something if it upset you, you know!" the only way he knew how to deal with people was anger, and he was yelling at her a bit. "You could've told us to shut up earlier, and then you wouldnt've had to set us on fire!"
Tess translation: I'm sorry for being an a** and making you upset. Let me know next time so I don't have to worry about a cooked tail.

Arkell reached up to wipe her tears away though they were replaced by fresh ones anyways so it was pointless to wipe them away. She stopped again and looked at him over her shoulder, her eyes not meeting his. "I...I know..." Her hands were twitching and she shoved them into her shorts pockets to try and calm them a little. "I...d,don't deal well with s.s.stuff like that." She gulped and bit her tongue trying to calm her hands had only made her start stuttering and it was beginning to annoy her.
"I'm sorry," she whispered and walked away, to a small small tree and sat underneath it in the shade tipping her head back against the bark with a sigh.

Aya saw the girl lash out at the dog boy, obviously signaling distress. She caught up with them silently. She listened to the boy's confession, then looked over at her. "You're intentions meant well." she said softly. "You shouldn't be upset if you meant well. It's when you do something wrong and don't care that you should be sad. Besides, you stopped them from getting even more hurt." She grabbed her left forearm from behind her back, remembering what she would have done if the girl hadn't caused the fire.

Responding only half-aware of Matt's presence even in the middle of conversation, Lite replied drowsily. "What, who changes? Man, I've changed a whole bunch, now I eat my fish with everything on it rather than everything but American spices. Those daft Americans. Hey man, I'm going to split for a while. I have some major cloud gazing to make-up for with all the time I've lost because of whatever we were doing in here." Even before Lite ended his little monologue, he had begun floating several inches above the ground towards the outside. Keeping a steady incline of elevation, Lite found himself back at the dormitories, but instead of on the roof, he planted himself upon the entrance to the dorms. Almost blocking the entrance to the dorms, he gazed and gazed, letting Bear climb all over his body and picking him back up if he ever wandered off. "Man, this is the life...but something is missing. Oh! I know, how could I have forgotton? Bear, let's go surfing!" Lite's epiphany led him all around the island as he was trying to make his way to the docks. Eventually he succeeded after about forty-five minutes worth of scavenging. Finding a plank board on the side of the beach, he made his way out and started spending his time riding the waves.
As spontaneously as he had begun, he finished just as hap-hazardously. Bringing the plank board with him, Bear was lucky enough that Lite got to his destination on the first try. Finally being returned to the dormitory, Lite and Bear went up to the room after a lengthy interrogation of the students as per the location of Lite's room. After finally arriving, Lite took out the window from its place and began an attempt at making a cage for Bear. I hope the roomy doesn't mind, but you need a place to sleep at night, Bear! After some mediocre attempts, a makeshift cage was built from the two panels of glass just making a triangle shape against the wall with no top. Lite flew through the window and decided that his neighbors didn't need their windows, so he took them and put them where his windows once were.

Tess blinked and stopped altogether, watching Arkell go and sit under a tree. A bit of another whine, glancing around a bit. His head whirled to look over to Aya, and he gave her a bit of a glare. "Leave us alone. Can't you see she wants to be alone?" he half growled, and then followed Arkell to the tree, obviously excluding himself from her 'alone time'. He wanted to curl up beside her and make her not sad anymore, some internal instinct saying that laying next to her would do that, but he didn't quite feel comfortable with it.
Instead, Tess sat a few feet away, in a way that he could check over his wounds with his hands, wincing lightly as he checked over his tail to see how badly burnt it was, and to check over his muzzle to see how badly bruised it was. He wiped away a bit of drying blood, keeping an eye out to make sure others wouldn't bother Arkell, at least, and pretending to be minding his own business. It probably would be embarrassing for everyone to see him curled up beside her like some lap dog, anyways. He grumbled softly under his breath as he groomed his tail, trying to clean off some of the singed fur without making it hurt too badly.

Aya blinked at the dog boy. Raising her eyebrow, she just walked forward. "Well then I will leave you alone, but I do believe she has a mind of her own as well as a mouth to voice it. And it doesn't seem that you are following your own suggestion anyway. Weren't you the one that upset her in the first place? With your fighting? I was only trying to ease the stress she undeservingly had placed onto herself." she replied blankly.

Tess gave a low warning growl as Aya continued to bug him. He, and Arkell, according to his mind. "The only thing that could help her is-" he paused and sighed, his shoulders seeming to slump. Fighting would upset Arkell more... Although he had some retorts he wanted to growl at the female talking back to him, he merely shifted onto all fours and walked away, swearing under his breath. What he would -give- for no complications at the moment.
He avoided the dorms like the plague for the time being and went to explore the forest out behind the large field and the training facility. He growled at a gaggle of geckos that were gathered for some strange reason, and they fled as he plopped down on the ground where they'd been and rested his head down on his arms. He'd muttered under his breath the entire way there, but was now quiet and thinking.

Arkell looked over when the dog boy told the girl who had offered to help her earlier to bugger off, and then trotted over to sit beside her a few feet away. The corners of her lips twitched up in a smile at him as he stayed silent, though it was quickly gone as he began to check himself over, and she looked away from him to give a little bit of privacy. She would have been fine if Aya hadn't continued the bickering with a retort. Arkell groaned softly, seeing another fight coming, but to her surprise the dog boy stopped mid sentence and just walked away growling and muttering to himself. She smiled slightly again at his actions. She stood up and brushed herself off motioning for Aya to follow her as she padded silently after the dog boy.

Hm, I haven't eaten in awhile, Harmony remembered when Alwyn went to get food. The last time she had anything to eat was a pear on the way over to the island. Harmony followed Alwyn to get food and made herself a plate of simply just some random fruits, a piece of pizza, and water. Going back to the table, she sat down across from the other girl. Picking up a grape, she popped it into her mouth. "My powers? Simply, I can form solid bubbles with gum or water." Harmony replied once she swallowed the grape. "What about you? Sorry if you mentioned it before, I forgot if you did or not." she said with a smile, but looking down at her tray.
(( I actually did forget if you mentioned her powers to Harmony yet sweatdrop ))

Aya nodded at the girl and walked silently behind. She hadn't wanted to start another conflict. She had only wanted to help, but it seemed to be hard to avoid it. She blew out a breath of exasperation. "I didn't mean to start tension." she stated blankly. But I won't be ordered around by someone I wasn't addressing to. She moved her gaze back to the grass, looking for geckos or something to catch her attention.

Arkell looked back at the girl and gave her a comforting, yet tired smile. "It's alright, I know you didn't mean to. Tension happens easily, especially between very dominant people who don't like to be told what to do. But as long as you don't say anything to rile him up, I think we'll be okay." She gave a soft giggle as she slipped her sandals off scrunching the grass between her toes as she padded silently over to where she saw Tess moping. She walked by him to lay down in the grass a few feet away from him looking up at the clouds as the drizzled by. She turned her head a little to look at Tess and gave him a small smile before looking back up at the sky.

Tess had lifted his head when he heard people coming, and blinked at Arkell as she went and lay down nearby, before looking to Aya. He grunted a bit, and shifted to move a little farther from them, only to lay down again. He had 'no fighting' on the brain for a moment, and he was sore and a bit tired. He gave out a heavy sigh, and rolled over onto his back, stretching out in a star figure, before crossing his arms behind his head.
Eyes closing, Tess took a deep breath and let it out, before opening his green orbs to stare at the sky. It was rather bright and sunny... He'd been indoors a lot more then he'd been outdoors, so he partially marvelled at it. The trees around them made it shady, too, though, and he turned his head to look at Arkell, only to jump a bit as his gaze landed on a Gecko not a foot away from him. He looked to the two girls, and then made a 'hmph' sound as if to say 'I wasn't scared', and settled again.
"Why'd you follow me?" he asked after some more moments' silence.

[Please correct me if I do anything wrong when trying to post again ^.^]
Riley sat silently through the whole talk with the Headmistress. Harmony had vanished and he was alone again, just like at the beginning. Not that it really mattered to him. The more solitude the better. He had to admit he was slightly relieved to find out that Harmony was actually on his team. At least there's one familiar face. The boy set off to find Harmony and his other teammate. But he was completely oblivious to the fight that had just happened, which was probably for the best. After wandering around for a bit, he sucessfully found Harmony sitting across from a girl with white hair. He smiled brightly.
"Hey Harmony. Looks like I'm on your team," he said, glancing at Alwyn.
-----------
Lois couldn't believe this. Teams? What a wonderful way to start off the school year, not to mention the fact that he didn't know either of the girls on his team. Marie and Terra. Who the heck are they, he wondered, glancing around the cafeteria. He sighed, runing a hand through his brown hair. He fixed his glasses before sitting down on a chair to think. He figured finding his teammates was the least of his problems.
