"Big head..." he muttered, shaking it at her. "Lies and falsities, my dear. You should be nicer to your husband."
He pulled out a chair for her and gave her a squeeze. "We'll go flying sometime soon, don't worry."

((NOTE: this has been edited. sweatdrop )) Artemis wandered around the capital, trying to figure out her way through the streets. She hadn't been there since she was so young. Knowing that there was a threat of war, she headed for the castle, looking for the princess. She had been gone for so long, the sadness welling up inside her that she couldn't go back to her home. It was somewhere in the distance behind her, probably a pile of ashes by now. She didn't want to be put into someone else's care, so she ran. People thought she was dead, when infact she was running. She didn't know what the Air kingdom would do when they heard the news. She didn't even know if they already had someone else tell them. She prayed that they would do something about it, but there was no way to know. With the wanting to put things right, she continued to the castle, willing to do anything the princess asked of her.

"I am nice to my husband." She replied with a smile as she took the chair with the utmost care. "Do you think I would honestly treat any other Prince, King, or Duke the way I treat you? I do it because I love you. But if you insist that I stop teasing..." She stuck out her bottem lip and pretended to pout as her fingers began to trace the bumps on the sheet, memorizing where each line went.

Luke ignored her, letting her get on with her learning. He leaned back in his chair, thinking about nothing in particular. He stifled a yawn, then let his eyes close, crossing his arms to hold them still.
He spent a few minutes this way, then huffed loudly and glared at the scribe. "You're dismissed. Thank you for your assistance."
The boy stuttered a goodbye as he scrammed from the room, leaving Illusion and Lucas alone. Luke stood up and draped himself lightly across Illusion's shoulders. "Come on, you, come to bed. You need some sleep. You en't slept in days!"
He picked up her hand and wiggled his fingers between hers. "Please?"

She looked at him with unseeing eyes as he folded up her map and set it too far from her to reach without standing. It hadn't occured to her that she hadn't slept in about 3-4 days now, without having to use her eyes, they didn't alert her that they needed to be moistened over night. It was an odd thing to think about.
"Fine...I'll go." She let out a half hidden yawn into the sleeve of her shirt. She stood up and reached out to him,her legs were much more owbbly than she would have liked, and her wings were dragging. "We're...not far, right? This is the main dining hall, right?" She kinda remembered where that was

Luke smiled and nodded. "Yes, not far at all. I have an idea, actually, to try later on.... for now, take my hand, and let's be off."
He tugged lightly on her hand and led her toward the door and the shafts that the Adepts used to get from floor to floor. "Remember which level we get off at?"

"The 4th level, near the end of the hall." Memorizing where everything is is going to kill me! She fallowed tiredly, practically dragging her feet as they traveled. Finally they reached her, our she corrected herself, room. She knew that it wasn't girlish, but it wasn't a place meant to house two. I'll have to have my things placed in a storage/closet/area.
Lus felt her way along the wall till she found her changing door, "No peaking!" She snapped as she changed into a nitegown with long sleeves and warm silk. She stepped out a few minutes later, it only took so long because her wings constantly got in the way.
"Bed..." She moaned as she tried to shuffle in its general direction.

Luke stifled a laugh at her sleepy expression. "Over here," he called, sitting down on it. "Come toward me."
He reached his hands out to her as she came, smiling at the way the simple white cloth fell around her light frame.

In a few timid steps she reached him, nearly falling over him because she underestimated how close she had been.
"Oh!" She cried, catching herself just in time.
She crawled up beside him, then pulled up the covers and buried herself in them. "See? I'm not completely useless yet..." She trailed off, her muscels relaxing, as she fell asleep without warning.

He laughed quietly and kissed her forehead before slipping out of his shirt. "No, never useless," he murmured. "You're a fine princess."
He curled up beside her in the bed, above the covers, letting the cool air blow through the windows and keep him comfortable. He stroked her hair absent-mindedly, then fell asleep, his head resting lightly on her stomach.

hidama fell to the floor and let out a disgruntaled sigh. she was tired but it was best if she left that night. they were in a war and the faster news crossed could mean life or death for hundreds. its not like she wasnt happy to serve her nation. she was just a bit sad that it had interupted her wonderful night.
hidama stood up slowly and started to pack her bags. she was out of dried meat and fruits so she would have to stop by the kitchen. she was a bit excited to go to the earth kingdom. she had heard storys about the place and had always wanted to travel there but she had no clue where to look for talia. i guess i better start a their castle

Moriarty watched in earnest as she began to pack her bags. Kat and he never owned more than their home, and the clothes on their backs. "You do realise I will be coming with you, right?" He said. It was more of a command, than a question, but he did his best to make it an irresistible one. "I promise, I'll make it enjoyable..." He said, walking up behind her, and kissing her on the neck.

Lus woke up late the next morning, she opened one eye, and then the other, and saw nothing. She would have screamed, but when she tried to turn she felt someone next to her. Who is that?! Then it all came back to her, the attack, the castle, the spell, the blindess, and the marriage. She relaxed as she leaned against Luke, waiting for him to wake up, they had a lot to do, and in time that they barely had.

Luke slept on contently, realizing that she was awake, but keeping her in the bed with himself.
"Morning," he mumbled, smiling faintly. He stretched a little, curled up in a ball beside her, and rubbed his fingers lightly around on her stomach. "Sleep well? You should still be out, considering."

((NOTE: this also has been edited.)) Artemis walked into the castle, wandering around for a bit. She had never been in here and didn't know where to go. She could feel the sadness tightining in her stomach. She didn't really want to talk about it, but the Air kingdom had the right to know. As she was wandering, she wondered what she would say. She sighed and sat against a wall, now terrified. Her whloe body was telling her to run, like she had always done her whole lifetime, but this was different. Now wasn't the time to run to keep herself from getting in trouble. She couldn't let this go without having done something about it. She didn't know if there were any fatalities, but she wasn't about to let that make a difference. She closed her eyes and tried to relax herself, letting the the soft currents running through the halls calm her nerves. She found a small crevice in the floor. She set all of her daggers in there. It wouldn't be smart to approach the princess armed.
