-Slightly shocked that she did a half spun and not running into something he continued walking casually looking at her lip print on the glass in the light.- "so your done for the night?"
-he kinda was hoping she would drink the glass so he could take her back to the room and have her get more rest, but she was defiantly proving to be difficult.-

"No," she simply answered.
What she really wanted to do was go back to the woodlands. She was itching to get away from all the buildings and the people already and she had not even been here all that long. She wanted to feel her bow in her hand or practice with her swords on a good thick tree. If she ignored that someone might be alarmed at some random stranger in the having a mock battle in the street with invisible people, she might have just started swinging right then and there. She didn't though. While she could walk and talk, she did not feel like swinging swords around while her drink made its rounds under her skin.
"Why should I be?" she asked as an afterthought.

-Micheal didn't look up from his glass- "I would like you to try to get more rest." -he was about ready to in force it actually, If she continues.- "please.." -was the last thing he said as he waited for her to talk again.-

"As I said, I don't want to try and rest again yet," choosing not to explain anything more about her reasoning as she turned the corner around the next building. Her experiences with trying to sleep after one of these unpleasant nights were not enjoyable to say the least. If she was lucky, she dozed after a long, miserable wait in bed. If unlucky, the nightmare repeated itself. It was easy to forget physical pain, but to forget the rest...
His words had only just barely carried to her over the distance and the drink that was now playing almost a tune to her in not just her head, but her entire body. It had started out slow like the stars moving in the night sky but it seemed to be picking up pace, the tempo starting to dart about here and there as her attention drifted more to the music that was playing for her and her alone (or so she thought). In some ways it emboldened her as the old tunes of her dreams and the past week were being drowned out. Other sounds made her look to the side and wonder if their brief existance had been from down that not so faraway alley or possibly from something on a second-floor windowsill of a building she just past.
She was still mostly aware of where she was and who was still following behind her, but now she just didn't care.

"Yet.." -he lightly sighed as it eased into a light chuckle and he just tossed the rest of the wine off to the side painting the dirt streets red for a moment.-
-He looked at how the wine splashed as it reminded him of something and he just quietly walked the direction she did and he hand his arms crossed as he played with the glass in his fingers as he lightly smiled at the ranger.-
"you know usually talking about things clears your mind." -he then looked down the streets.-

In the midst of the ranger's waltz, there was the dissonance again, the other tune trying to surface as a harmony. As she tried to ignore the notes, to drown let it drown in the waltz, it only became that more noticeable.
"Yes, talk about it..." A unusual chuckle slipped from the ranger as she confronted the other tune disturbing her melody. "Talking always makes it better," she half sung sarcastically, a memory of her answering about dragons and Micheal storming out surfacing in her mind.
The ranger turned around to look back at her stalker once more but this time didn't approach him. "The same deal as before still stands. You can ask me again after another bottle. It can even be back at the room," she said, throwing her arm in the direction of the inn before letting it drop down at her side, her bow fingers rubbing against each other again. "Otherwise, do not bother me about it tonight."

-He turned and looked in the other direction in disgust at how she was acting- "Fine what ever you wish." -He ran through his thoughts trying to figure out why she would be rubbing her string happy fingers together and he just turned around and he was gone and in someones wine cellar looking at the years in the dark and then he selected the most recent year cause he really didn't care for the taste for it now for things are becomeing bitter so quickly tonight.- "This should do I don't think she would drink it ... " -He then ended up stopping to see Dulcimer and he sat in the stables for the longest time.-

And then the feeling of the waltz returned to her as the other tune seemed to meld more with the song. She turned away from the person tailing her and simply said "I won't be long" before she continued her walk down the street.
The ranger took the long way around back to the tavern, not stopping at the stables but passing them by, heading straight for her little room where she stripped her belt and swords off before sitting down on the bed.

The initial knocking went unnoticed as she sat there, drifting in and out of her drink-induced state, trying to bring back the little bit of euphoria she had found earlier when the song first appeared. When the knocking grew louder though, she stood up to answer the door, unbolting it and letting her visitor pass through the entryway.

-He looked at her oddly and then walked in placing the bottle on the table and he walked to the furthest corner there was an hit his head on the wall closing his eyes trying to ignore her right now.-

The ranger said nothing as she latched and locked the door shut before grabbing the bottle and returning to sit on the bed where she started to fiddle with the cork. It was a while before she managed to get the bottle unblocked and get her first sip of what was surprisingly still cold liquid. When the first sip ran across her tongue, she thought nothing of the taste. Though it tasted nothing like the previous bottle, she had had much worse to drink before. Her palate was nothing like that of the vampire who was hiding out currently in the corner.
Her face clenched together for a moment as the cold drink slipped down her throat, the chill making her head hurt for a moment. When it had passed, she sighed as she considered how to go about her side of the deal. He had brought the drink after all.
"How attached are you to the rest of dragonkind, aside from Dark?" she asked, a grim sound to her words.

-He watched her drink for a moment.-
"I really didn't care for dragons at all in fact they were just a very rare meal if we could ever stumble across one." -he then turned his glass upside down on the floor.- "In fact My intentions were at first to find a new home so I can live in peace with my own rules. Instead I crossed paths with a dragon mother that had a nest of eggs and I had to touch one of them. I was skeptical at first when the dragon told me to take the egg for I tainted it. So if it did hatch I would feed on it and end it's life before it knew anything." "Butt... strange things happen... and surprisingly to me."
-He thought back at the taste of just feeding and not caring.- "Only Dark is tolerable to my living style, till I mention that he should have killed the dragon that was enchanted with the rune."
-he knew that was more than necessary but he felt he needed to say more about Dark right now.-

She agree with a nod that strange things did happen though she included her own experiences in that nod.
"Enchanted with a rune?" she asked, grateful to whatever had given her a reprieve, however brief, from going into her own tale. Maybe even more grateful that it didn't seem as if Micheal gave as much thought to dragons as she had originally believed.
"What was with this 'rune' dragon that you didn't like?" she asked nursing the bottle slowly.

"She pried and ended almost getting killed because of Dark and I. The idiotic Villagers decided to accuse the first dragon they saw and then Dark felt he needed to right his wrong. Eventually the Villagers stepped back from Dark's bluff so no more blood was shed that night or day though the young rune dragon was exhausted from her travels and the fact she was casting magic with her run at a young age. Dragons are one thing but the new hybrids you could say bothers me and in the end it's just me perhaps cause I am technicality a dragon as well."
-he wasn't sure how she would react to that part of the statement, but oh well it might be the wine talking.-
