"But isn't there a strong hope that he's still alive? I mean, I wouldn't count him gone unless you were absolutely sure that...he was never coming back." He was almost very shy to be talking about such a subject, but something was driving him to continue. Something made him want something from this, but he didn't know what it was. Again, the confusion that he could not shake. His thoughts would start to become unclear if things got more complex.

Cat was silent but nodded her head. "I'm still working on a way to gt him back, but it's kind of hard when you have no idea where to start looking, and not one person will help." She paused, noting that her tone had an edge to it. "Sorry..A lot of stuff happened while you were asleep. Micah disappeared. We haven't heard from him since HQ was destroyed."

Justyn was deeply saddened by what Cat was telling him. He placed his hands on her shoulders gently, and spoke in a calming, gentle tone, "Cat..." A relatively long pause followed, "I'll help you find him. I'll do whatever I can for you, I hope you'll come to see that. I hope you'll come to find you're allowed to rely on me for even the toughest of things. I just want to help." By this time it was clear his interest and motives--what he wanted out of the conversation: He wanted to help her. He wanted to make her happy, regardless the cost or effect. He hugged her. "I promise, that if there's anything I can do about, you'll see him again."

She looked up at him as he said he'd help her, something similar to hope reflecting in her eyes. She couldn't do anything else other then nod and hug him back as he embraced her. It was different then when she hugged Tori. it felt...safe maybe?

Justyn became a little nervous after his impulsive actions. "I hope that wasn't uncalled for, I would hate to have offended you." He wanted to bring attention to how close they were, in order to break the tension of what was happening, but something inside him made him hold back, as if it was enjoying the moment. Caught between the two, he was confused, and at that he was speechless--could think of nothing to say. There was a moment between them--some feeling, and he just knew that it was enough: no words needed.

She smirked and pulled away. "No, I think it helped." she let go and skated around him for a moment. "We should get going." She paused and looked back at him, still smiling. "Thank you Justyn."

Justyn smiled unabashedly. "You're welcome. I'm glad you help you any way I can. It's just my way." He shook a little, the conversation made him nervous, but a quick deep breath and some happy thoughts stopped the shivers. "Lead on, I'll be right behind you." It was only an exaggeration in the sense that he was going to leave a proper, safe distance between. There was still a bit of a smile on his face.

Alex sat up in the chair and looked around groggily; his head felt smashed to pieces. "Wha...?" He looked directly into the light by accident and shielded his eyes quickly. Peeking through his fingers he examined the bar. "Ok s**t phew thought i had passed out somewhere bad." He moved around in the seat and just leaned back. He picked up his empty cup and swished it. "Need beer... Or advil." He just let his head hit the table and tried to slip back into a pain free sleep.

Alex shook her head. "Seth, eat something. I'll get your advil." She removed the empty cup from the table and went to get him a fresh glass of water and some medicine. "so what happened? I don't remember you getting passed out drunk....ever actually."

"I dunno. Ask your self how much i usually drink tho." He sighed and looked at her walk away, he enjoyed the rhythm of her step. If not to be rude in his own thoughts a few of her curves. He looked at his watch it was almost eight. "Dont worry about me Alex you need to get ready for the night crowd. You know i hate it when you make a fuss over me."

She came back with the water and advil. "I wouldn't worry about you if you didn't come in asking me for something to knock you out." She handed both to him. "I already turned teh sign to closed, I'll turn it back when I'm good and ready, and that most likely won't be till you explain to me whats going on."

"Well mother im a deeply trouble mutant without the mutant side effects who couldnt be happier with his living arrangements. I like long walks on the beach but we arnt allowed there anymore because of INS. And i have the headache to end them all." He smiled at her without lifting his head and then just swalloed the advil without any water.

She was quiet for a moment. "Your pulse quickened...so either your not telling me something or you lied about something. Lean forward." she instructed, rolling the sleeves of her uniform up a bit.

He leaned forward. "Ok your right my headache isnt that bad." Once he had leaned in he caught a bit of scent from Alex. She smelled like beer and roses, oddly sexy but with his hangover it was making him want to vomit. He held his gag reflex and then the smell got stronger then he rubbed his nose and it was gone. It was odd but then he just looked at Alex.
