(What should be inside for conflict? all I have thought up are the defense bots... And don't say Splicers, Big Daddies, or Little Sisters, or else I'll shoot you... I haven't thought much about Atlantis yet... I know the people are frozen though...)
Sek stepped into what looked like a round blue disc. "get on, unless you'd rather stay in the entrance..." he said wryly.

Noryoku leapt forward, barely making it onto the platform as it began to descend.
((Well, first of all, I'm not obsessed with Bioshock. Second, I was thinking something along the lines of different kinds of turrerts, like stun turrets for early areas and plasma or something later on, maybe some automated defence killbots. Or we could go Indiana Jones style and have spikes shoot from walls and giant pit falls hidden in the floors.))

(I like the Indiana Jones thing. Sounds better for a city of knowledge to have traps instead of guns...)
The lift lurched to a halt, leaving them in a glass dome underwater. around them, hundreds of other glass domes extended, all leading to a massive dark structure.
"That's the city center, It goes to the sea floor, so it's big Under there we have the cryopods. the other domes are the pneumatic lifts and bases of the city's above-water areas... but they're obviously retracted now..."
Sek walked forward with a purposeful gait, straight into a pit beyond the first door. (he fell...)

"Sek!!!" Noryoku shouted, he lunged forward, but the president of Chronos was already falling.
Thoron suddenly shot up through the floor and grabbed Sek by the arm. He carried the man back up and set him down in front of the black-haired youth. "I think you dropped this." he rumbled.
((Excellent job, Mr. President. You had to get saved by a walking/floating tin can.))

Sek smiled like a man who had just experienced a shock of horror. "wasn't expecting that... or the ghost... my last visit didn't have such... pitfalls... h-heh..." Sek laughed a little at his own pun, "but we need to get past that way in order to reach the city center... or we could go the long way through... the labs and security stations..."
(the president is more of a leader than an adventurer... so he's a bit... bad at visiting unfamiliar places.)

Noryoku snapped his rifle up to his shoulder, aiming the gun what appeared o be a floating suit of armor. "Get away from his." He ordered, his voice low and level.
Thoron floated a few feet away from Sek. "My apologies. I did not intend to scare you. I simply noticed that your friend was in danger, and that I could help." He turned to Sek, "In fact, my friend and I have been following you for some time. We would like to aid you in your quest to destroy the Blackfire Alliance once and for all."

"I'd like that... I'd like it very much..." Sek replied, before fainting. The president of Chronos simply dropped to the floor.
(Not to odd for the president of a flying city to have a horror of falling... after all, for him, falling technically means death... It's one thing the people of Chronos dreaded...)

Noryoku ran forward, catching Sek before he fell. "Alright," He said to the unconscious leader, "Lets get back to the ship. We can try again later when we have more people." He glanced over at the spirit, "I suppose you could come along. But where's this friend of yours?"
Thoron pointed to an area just behind one of the spars holding the ceiling up. Aardun stepped out, looking annoyed. "Thoron! What was that all about! I was hidi-..." She stopped short when she saw Noryoku.

Sek's clumsiness had set off an alarm. the lift shot up, trapping the three living souls under the ocean. the unliving one was free to go as he pleased. Sek slowly stirred awake, "that music is horrible..." he mumbled.

Noryoku almost dropped Sek when he saw the girl. He gently leaned the President against a wall. Another movement caught his eye, and he turned around to see their only means of leaving Atlantis streak back up to the surface. "Oh come on!" Noryoku shouted up the lift tube. He slumped to his knees, looking dejected.
Aardun shifted uncomfortably. Umm... she "said" Hi. My name is Aardun. Who are you guys?
Noryoku looked around wildly, searching for the source of the voice. "Who said that?"

Noryoku finally focused on the girl. "The name's Noryoku." he paused. "Pilot of Chronos." He pulled a small bottle out of his pocket. It wasn't labeled, but the amber liquid inside was all the explanation needed. He handed it to Sek. "Come on, Sek. Pull yourself together. We've got to stop Morris. For our fallen city."

Sek drank a bit of it and coughed, "gah! that stuff is horrible!" He looked back at Noryoku, "You're right though... we should get moving to the labs. Let's have the ghost lead... he'll find the traps, no?"

Noryoku took the bottle back. "My brewing techniques aren't what my grandfather's were, but this stuff will knock anyone out of a stuor in minutes." He stood, shouldering his rifle. "Lead on."
Thoron bowed and drifted towards one of the sealed door leading off of the hub.

Sek sighed, "unless he can release the valve on the other side, we can't follow... My idea for the sealed doors is different, though..." He pointed his gun at a flashing light above the door and shot it. the signal turned green, and the door rolled open.
"Cities were built for multiple other city accommodations. sealed door key like that is a Pandora one. find a circuitry puzzle, that's Arc. Eden... Eden... hehe, Eden would probably have a game or something.
