Drachir D Nalem Oh, I can barely hold my frustration in. Soon I have to start writing poetry and listen to MCR because of the INCREDIBLE anguish I am experiencing. Hey Drachir, is MCR an emo or death rock band?

Yarr. Apparently, the other Drows think I'm looking for beatings. So I just feel like I should make them continue believe so to make them NOT try to give me any.

Or you're taking my words too literally. Uxia wasn't calling Drachir 'masocistic' so much as 'contrary'. "Lets frustrate him more by not giving him one" was, in essence "I'm going to ignore him, and I suggest you not let him bother you either."

uxia the drow Sitting down once more and kicking up her feet, the drowess gave a sigh. "Leave it to the revolutionaries to believe themselves more open minded than those of tradition. Faith in Lloth is not empty, nor is dying in her honor. You might not understand our attachment to the great Spider Goddess, but that does not validate your charges against our faith." "Dying for a cause in which you believe if righteous is honorable. Dying for Lloth is, therefore, honorable. This is the stance of many similar cultures to ours... even those of the surface and of times passed." She nodded at Elvanshalee after a pause, "He looks for beatings. Let us frustrate him more by not giving him one." "matron right now i think that the demon, just wants to try our patience and get hated which he is doing but he should not try to take ti to far people in here are less forgiving and will kill with out second thoughts/0 in alot places. deaths and choas is a needed part of the underdark to make it fun. also it could be that maybe Dachire likes to be beaten on." he says lightly sitting on all fours his face only out of the shadows. there are no signs of what he is doing under face to any one in the bar.

Look, really no offense, kitty man, but here: http://www.spellcheck.net/If you want me to be able to understand you, and other not to get bleeding eyes, use that one before posting. Believe it or not, punctuation and capitals at the right place helps tremendously.

I understand that I set a rather critical tone, however most of my smarm is reserved to my character's persona. Yes, spelling and grammar are important things to study and understand, it's just as important to respect one another. We don't want to kill the community with petty squabbles about representing appositives and split infinitives.
Perhaps this would be a good time for some sort of topic change since this was suppose to be more of a 'hang out and chat' thread, I suppose...
How did you first learn about the Drow and the Underdark?

Quote: How did you first learn about the Drow and the Underdark? Well I was like 10 years old and really into Lord of the Rings, elves mostly, when I went into a book store and saw a trilogy of Forgotten Realms books with an elf on the cover, The Return Of The Archwizards trilogy. So I bought it and was fascinated by it, so I went looking for more. Some of the most expensive books by the Forgotten Realms were The Legend of Drizzt series. From there it just took off.

How did you first learn about the Drow and the Underdark? The first time I heard about the Drow was when I played Baldur's Gate on my comp. Soon after that was when I started making Aria's character. Then a couple years ago I read the three books about Drizzt that tell about his early years and how he came to leave the Underdark (Is that the Legend of Drizzt series? I forgot what the trilogy was called sweatdrop )
