Perrian nods. "Lead the way, Vincent. We'll be right behind you." Perrian said to Vincent.

"Right then..." Vincent says as he pushes open the door. He readies his defences as he peaks in, wondering what is on the other side...

The door opens, revealing yet another hallway, leading into the darkness beyond. The trek is a short one however, as you see the darkness fade once again, opening on what appears to be a training salle for the guardians of the Dragon God's faith. The sands of the arena are carefully groomed, as if great reverence is held for the sanctity of the circle; a reverence that is not held for those who enter the temple unbidden. Sitting calmly in the hidden darkness on the far side of the circle, a lone figure calmly rubs a soft cloth across a huge axe, observing your entrance. Seemingly unconcerned by your presence, the creature speaks in a low, brawny tone, filled with energy and repressed enthusiasm. "What manner of fools might you be, to stumble like new-born calves into this place? Know that your lives are no longer your own; now your souls belong to the Dragon God, and his loyal servants. Most particularly this loyal servant." Standing and stretching, the large figure steps from the darkness, revealing a huge man-shaped figure, with one distinct peculiarity; the head of a bull with wide, curving horns. The Minotaur brandishes his axe in an aggressive pose, with an eager glint in his eye. Snorting loudly, and braying a loud call, the Minotaur is quickly joined by two others, brandishing weapons and covered in armor. "Perhaps, if you fall to your knees and beg for mercy, I will allow you to serve as slaves until you become fit to serve in a more, appetizing manner." The Minotaur Lord and his minions laugh ominously, leaving no misunderstanding of the ghoulish comment. "So, what's it going to be? Steak Tartar, or Barbecue?"

Perrian sighed and shook his head as he walked to stand by Vincent's side. Perrian kept the angelic staff close by side, gripped by his right hand. "And why do you think we'll beg for mercy? We're not fools and we don't plan to become fools. Vincent, the choice of what we should do is in your hands, but I think I already know what your idea might be." Perrian said, expecting a battle. Perrian, if Vincent did choose for them to go to battle, wasn't really sure if they could beat these four minotaurs. Even with the power of the angelic staff of their side, could we beat them is the question that pounded through his head. He thought for a little and went into a dazed state, starting into space, before snapping himself out of it and nodded his head to confirm to himself that the group was able to do anything they set their mind to and that his friends and he could take down these beings, if that was Vincent's decision, if they needed to take action like that.

Fury whispers to the others, "It doesn't look like we're getting out of here without a fight. But, that does seem to be the ongoing theme of this place, after all. How do you want to play this?"

((I would like to take one round to study the opponent. All agreed? With my newfound defence, and my huge hp stash I should be able to survive a round if I fail, or we could have Fury or Djanni try.))

Lazarus stood near the back of the group, leaning lightly aginst his staff. A small smile crossed his lips, as he pondered what spell would be best. He knew right away, that with the limitation on the number of enemies he could attack with Flame burst, the spell would do him very little good. Instead he tried to figure out which one would be hurt the most from his over-blast spell. He knew that they wouldn't leave without a fight. And it was a fight he planned to help win.
(( good luck, vincent. ))

((Well, with the majority vote I go onward! *heroic pose* Rolling now...*crosses fingers*))
Vincent, using the instincts he has gathered through years of training begins to study key factors of the four minotaur: muscle, stance, and even breathing are all taken into account as Vincent manages to guess the minotaur's estimated strength...
((Cut that one close! sweatdrop ))

((*Heroic pose rapidly deflates* "mama..." burning_eyes cheese_whine dramallama ))
Vincent, knowing that there is no escape curses as he realizes the power of these minotaur. He turns to his party and tells them of the minotaur's strength before going on in a hushed tone, "There is no escape from this. And so we must fight...Besides," Vincent then turns to face the leader directly and says aloud with a sarcastic grin, "That great axe would make a fine weapon for me...I think I'll take it."
((I don't know if someone has a plan here, because I've got none. I know what I can do (though like Vincent it isn't very tactically minded)...but if anyone has an idea be my guest.))

( Yes, two Minotaurs, and 1 lord. 3 total enemies, not 5. And since this is the first dungeon that I have managed to post more than like 2 times in, I am the weakest link in this chain, and I am mostly a 1 action man. So yea, I'm gonna cast Overblast, just point the way for me to attack. )
Lazarus feels a lump in his throat. Granted, this seams to be a bit... different of a fight from the one with Fluffy, or whatever the creature under the bed's name was. He contemplates his Flame burst, but the damage out-put is substantionally lower than his overblast, espically if he aimed the blast at one of the lower creatuers. He pondered if he should just start with the cast, or if he should empower his magic, taking a round to prepair everything first. He quietly voices this idea to the party, knowing that 48 damage over 2 turns is better than 33 damage, post Power Up - Magic.
