Ruth shot a bolt of ice beneath Eve's feet and began to run. She froze the ground beneath her own feet so she could slide- much faster than running. She'd chosen ice for this one, so she would have to keep drawing heat to avoid freeing her. She shouted to the one with turquoise hair who she'd seen earlier in the Haven.
"Help! Catch her or something! We need her to get Retto back!"

Archer grinned. It was just like old times. Standing beside Raiden and ready to prove how much butt she could kick.
"You're planning now, aren't you? You've got that 'don't know what the heck I'm doing but it's fun' look on your face. So, what do you recommend?" she said, shining the light from her sword into a tank-driver's eyes. She Shifted at the tank, punching it hard at the base until it flipped. A man flew out, screaming. He hit the floor and started running towrds her. She Shifted behind him, slashing down at incredible speed. His head... Well, she now knew what the inside of a brain looked like. It was a perfect cut. She Shifted back to Raiden to hear his answer.

((I know. That's twice Archer has gone off to kick some butt and missed the action. But it's quite interesting as a plot anyway. By the way is it okay if Aika is a kind of a dog Gifted? Most of the things she can do are just enhanced versions of what dogs can do anyway.))
Meanwhile, Aika the dog was growing restless. She knew that Archer and Ruth should have been back ages ago.
Use your supposedly superior brain she thought. If they're missing then they must be in trouble.
Which means there's no point staying on guard duty.
Aika could do many things that other dogs could not really do. She could run much faster. Her hearing was better. And while most dogs could sense emotions, Aika could connect to minds much better. Mostly she used this to stare down other dogs in a fight, making them run off like whimpering puppies. But now she connected to Archer's mind as best she could and ran off to join her.
Why does she never bother to tell me where she's going?
Oh yeah. She never actually knows.

"Well first I need to know why the heck your attacking the agent HQ."He said."But as for now Breaking robots arms is quite satisfying...care to give it a try."He said smiling.'Man I hate robots.'He thought to her.

Retto was still searching for Ana.He was now knocking on her apartment door.No answer.'Great.'He thought.And started walking back towards were he had been sleeping.'Maybe she went back.'He thought to himself.

Eve had no way to move now."I little help here?"She said to the robot as she tried to break loose.

((Maybe they experimented on one dog- Aika, but she didn't show any outward signs of Gift so they concluded that the experiment was a failure. Yeah...))
"Meal ticket? We're trying to get Retto back! You know, the one they took that you were trying to protect... Oh. Wait. You care more about money than you do about Retto. They're probably slicing him up as we speak!" shouted Ruth, struggling to be angry and hold control of Eve at the same time.

Aika arrived at the scene of the mayhem. She sniffed the air. Yep. Burning. Definitely Archer. She saw Ruth yelling and Archer fighting robots, tanks, Agents, a burnt-out car... Yes, definitely the usual order of the day. She picked her way across the ground towards Archer, the tough pads of her paws making no noise. She crept up behind an Agent who was running towards Archer and ripped out the back of his throat. He went down gargling. Lovely. I think not.

Archer saw the man fall and recognised without question her dog's style of brutality. She called out to Aika, who was instantly at her side. She ruffled her fur.
"Raiden, guess who's joined us. Killer Hound. I was wondering when you'd get bored!" she laughed.

Ruth digested what Ana had said.
"What do you mean, not interested... oh."
She finally caught up with reality.
He's a tracker, right?
So he's useful to the government.
And he's no use to the government if he's with them.
So this is probably a bit stupid.
Oh.
Damn.
Well, at least I killed some Agents.

"Fine. Kill her." she said, coldly. She felt a pang of pity for the Agent. She wasn't too bad, really. But all Agents were Agents.
They must die.

"Look I quit.No job is worth this."She pleaded hoping they'd take pity.First day on the job, and already about to die.
