"Well we sent the other kids off to make a list of what is needed so we'll know soon enough" Amon Said walking out of the room and heading for the kitchen.
Ismon sitting down at the kitten table with a glass of water next to him and writing down food items looked up to see his parents and Toran "Hi mom! Hi dad! Hey Toran"
"So what the damage?" Amon said walking into the kitchen and towards Ismon.
"Do you want to good news or the bad news first?"
"What the good news?"
"The good news is that we have enough meals in the house for 3 days that's only applying if the bottemless pit doesn't eat that too! It's not all that bad considering we really need food any way"
"And the bad news?"
Ismon looks at his parents then takes a deep breath "I can't believe I'm going to say this! We really do need a bigger fridge!"

"But Alex will clear out a bigger fridge in just as little time as he does the one we have," Isora said, throwing up his hands in exasperation. Then he heaved a sigh and hastily sat down when he felt his knees start to give. He must have been out for a very long time. He felt weak as a newborn.

"You alright Isora?" Amon said looking worried
Ismon frownd and sighed "It's not just Alex mom it's also how big this family is getting more poeple equles more food and storage needed, the pantry is big enough but the fridge isn't I mean we can put this fridge in our pantry two maybe three times it's not funny I know but still I think Alex was right but needing a bigger fridge either that or a second fridge the same size as this one."

"I'm fine, Amon," the mer said, waving his mate away. Then he turned to his son, with one eyebrow raised and a cool expression on his face. "I realize you've grown up and I missed out on alot because I was sick, but everything you said really doesn't need explaining, Ismon. Anyway, we'll figure something out."

Amon leand against the counter and crossed his arms like he was saying "Alright then"
Ismon slid the list of needed items to his mother "Heres the list, we have food for three days I suggest you two get some rest," Ismon said stading up and walking to the door then turning around and looking at both his parents "since you guys look like crap!"Ismon turned back to walk out of the kitchen
"We can't look that bad Ismon!" the wolf said in a unbelieving tone
"Look in a mirror then say that!" Ismon started walking raising a hand up "Later! I'll be in my room if you need me."

"He's right, you know. You do look like crap, love," Isora teased dryly, making it sound as if he hadn't been included in that observation. He knew if he looked at his mate he would laugh, so he kept his eyes firmly on the list.

Amon chuckled and smiled at Isora "Shall we go get some rest before we do anything else? Or would you like something to eat and drink first?"

Isora glanced at Amon and returned the wolf's smile. "A little something to eat first would be good. Then I'll go for a quick swim and afterwards you and I can cuddle in bed for a few hours. Sound good?"

"Anything's fine as long as it's filling," Isora answered, getting to his feet but using the back of his chair to hold himself up. "And so I don't have to go around trying to pretend I'm perfectly alright: I'm still really weak from being off my feet for who knows how long so if I sway a little or have to sit down hastily, don't panic."

Amon got some food out of the fridge and placed in on the table nearst to him "Well if need be I could carry you, so I think it'll be okay love"

Isora rolled his eyes, shuffling over to check out what Amon had grabbed out of the fridge. "That wouldn't be good. I need to get my strength back. How can I do that if you start carrying me around?"

"You got a point but you can gain strengh by eating and resting and by me carrying you around your body is at some sort of a rest state." push a small plate of food towards the mer "Here eat this while I peel this orange for you."

Isora accepted the food and began to eat, methodically cleaning his plate. He wanted to protest Amon peeling the orange for him but decided against it. If his mate was going to treat him as an invalid, there'd be no stopping him until he was satisfied the mer was back to perfect health.
