She licked the blood from her fingers to distract herself from the pain of the woudn as she walked on and kept her mind blank so she wouldn;t have to decide where she was going or why. she was just going. just like she did before she met Zander.

Zy tried to hum the notes of the song from his past but couldn't remember them.How odd? I can't remember it. Zy gripped his sword as he pasted the town that Shaon attacked the other night.

Shaon, who had been long past the town, sighed. she tried to keep thought away, but she just couldn;t help it. so, she decided to feel angry. It was all Zander's fault. everything. the stupid idiot had to go and be brave and tell her he lvoed her, and watched out for her. it was all his fault. he ruined everything. but he made everythign wond-- she cut the thought off before it could finish. he had been nothign but trouble.

Why do I even care if Shaon left? Just because she looks like Jasmine? That is horrible reason to care abo- to follow her. Zy struggled with the ideas in his head as continued to walk through the dark woods.

Shaon grinned as she stood on the edge of a slopping hill. out of the forest at last. back to square one.... she ran her tongue over her teeth as she put her hand to the wound on her side that throbbed achingly. and this time i'm going to do it right. the cross, her last traces of zander besides her memories, lay far off in the forest trees, most likely dangling from a dumb branch. probably lost forever. just like love. she observed idly.

The more he thought about jasmine the more he understood how Shaon felt. Though he didn't love jasime, despite her confessions to him, he still cared a great deal about her. The thought of Shaons mother crossed his mind, but he quickly laughed at the idea.

Shaon stopped as she looked down across the valley, she sat down. her side hurt too much to continue. she'd rest up. besides, it was almost day anyway.

Zy began to unknowingly hum the tune of his mother and he continued through the woods. He paused after awhile and began to cover up all the skin that was showing. This time he didn't look like a crazy person wrapped in rags, but an almost normal member of society.

For the first time since he could remember, Zy saw the sunrise. his eye where covered with a thin sheet, but he could see through it just fine. The sight was amazing; he couldn't hide his smile even if he wanted to.

Zy started walking again after his little break. his mind was detracted by the morning; so the thoughts of Jasmine and Shaon were on hold. He finally reach a clearing that led to a small river. He was completely lost. and had no idea where to go.

(np ^-^ church=important. i went earlier. wait, i've never heard of a 4 o' clock churh xD weird )
Shaon yanwed, rolling over in her sleep and jumoping. "ow..." she touched her wound, it had closed for now but it was still sore, and pressure hurt it. she stood again, groggy. only an hour or two of sleep seemed all she was going to get, so she continued to trek onward through the slopping hills and valleys.
