Randal sagged back on the couch and nodded. "Much." he said and flung his good hand across his eyes. "I hate the sun." he said.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Kevin laughed and stripped off the glove, then closed the first aid kit.

"Been burnt." he said. "About a hundred something years." he said and pulled up his legs to sit on the couch crosslegged. "Almost forgot how much it hurts." he added, his tone still dripping sarcasm, it was his way of dealing with the pain.
