Akiko glared at Seto, thinking she was included as being a 'moron'. She didn't take well to insults, then again who did? She then rolled her eyes and replied, "Geez, who crapped in your Cheerios this morning?" Luckily for her, the limo had pulled into Seto's driveway. Akiko got up and got out of the car, not wanting to hear Seto's mouth after her comment. She walked away slightly but faced the limo, waiting for Yugi to come out. She kept her hands behind her back and rocked on her heels. She felt bad for Joey, he seemed so out of it, perhaps he didn't want to talk in front of Seto? She wasn't sure.
Atem smirked slightly to himself, Kaiba was annoyed and it was slightly amusing to him. Also because he wasn't telling Atem to stop touching his sister. Kaiba had to get over the fact they were going out, end of story. In fact, did he know they were going out? Or did he just think he was just flirting with her? Hearing Akiko, he looked at her and sweetdropped. He should be used to her strange saying but was caught a bit off guard. He shook his head and turned away. When the limo stopped, he too wanting to get out as fast as possible. After getting out, he extended his hand to Sam to help her out of the car, like a gentleman.
Joey remained quiet, not responding to either Yugi, Akiko, or Seto. He was actually confused on what to do and for once, tried to think it out without acting first. He loved Seto, so he didn't want to do something stupid. But he was upset and pissed, anything he could think of saying could lead to a fight. Worse of all, he was still horny from before. Yes he wanted Seto- badly, but he also wanted a relationship with him. And it seemed Seto was only interested in just a 'hook up'. Which was fine, but he felt Seto led him to believe that they could have something more then that. The limo stopped and he wanted to jump out, but everybody else was beating him to it. He had to talk with Seto, hoping the 'talk' wouldn't lead to 'yelling', which seemed very likely now.

Sam frowned when Akiko made a joke and Joey didnt join in with making fun of Seto. That meant there was really something wrong with him and that made her worry. She rolled her eyes at Seto and looked out the window, seeing them arrive at the mansion. She let out a relieved sigh that they would finally get out of the car. She smiled, taking Atem's hand and getting out. "Thank you."
Seto sat still in the car as they arrived at his home. He waited for everyone to get out before he did so. He got out and spotted Atem and Sam holding hands again. He walked through their entwined hands to separate them and then he grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards the house. He wanted so badly for Joey to stay but he doubted that he would now. "You can all go home now." He said.
"Aw come on Seto, cant they stay?" She asked. They've slept over her house before so she thought he would let them again. They had pleanty of room in the mansion.
Yugi got out right after Akiko. He watched Joey sadly. He was really worried about his best friend and figured that he should talk to him. He smiled at Akiko and then walked over to Joey. "Hey Joey... Whats going on with you tonight?" he asked quietly, a very worried look on his face.

Atem and Sam's hand seperated when Kaiba walked in between the two of them. He watched as Kaiba dragged her away. "Kaiba," he said to get his attension. He had been good, keeping silent until now. "You have to realize by now Sam and I have feelings for each other. You need to stop trying to prevent this," Atem said calmly yet sternly. He knew this was going to be difficult. Afterall, he was his rival. Atem had to stand up for them, but he would speak to him, not fight with him.
Joey, Yugi, and Akiko were a far enough so Seto couldn't hear. Besides, he seemed preoccupied with Sam. "Yug...." he said, unsure how to even explain this. It was nice he had friends that cared. But he wanted Seto to care for him too. Apparently, he didn't. "I'm sorry Yug, I don't mean to act so weird," he said. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and began walking off. "I can't explain it buddy," he added. Joey felt alone, how could he explain himself? He felt none of his friends would understand because they were all straight and he was gay.
Akiko stayed with Yugi and Joey. Poor Joey, what happened? "Joey, don't go. You can tell us. We're your friends," she said sympathetically. She couldn't help but cringe, thinking if this would have been her if she stayed with Seto. In fact, Joey was following her footsteps. But did Seto care for Joey? He had to have some type of feelings for him, he left marks to show that.
Joey turned back to them and smiled to hide everything. "You guys just wouldn't understand," he said in an upset tone. Joey was so frustrated inside he could just explode.
[[Ok then. Or even if it's inappropriate for the guild I'll edit. Also, when Joey leaves I'm going to have him do some shady stuff. I think he'll go home and grab some booze, maybe fight with a group of kids. Oh, they could be the kids from the park. But he would be so drunk that he can't fend for himself. He could wake up in an ally or something. What do you think?]]

((thats a good idea, or would you rather me have Seto stop him from leaving or go out in look for him or somthing?))
Seto turned, glaring at Atem. "I would never let her be with someone like you. She's far too good for you." He said angrily, squeezing her wrist too tight and making her wince. He turned to look at Sam. "Stay away from him or I'll disown you as my sister. Understand?!" He threatened her, letting go of her wrist.
Sam smiled as Atem defended them. She didnt have enough courage to do it herself. As Seto threatened her, her eyes widened and she was shocked and speechless. "W-w-what?" She asked surprised he would go that far. He wasnt serious right?
Yugi frowned. "Oh come on Joey. Who know's you better then us? We'll understand. Please Joey, we just want to help..." He said worriedly, begigng his best friend to trust him.

[[I think Seto should go out and find him, but I'm not sure if he should try and stop him and get into even more of a fight. Well, that could drive Joey to actually go out and do that]]
Atem's eyes widened. He would disown his own sister because of him? His eyes narrowed and he bared his teeth. "Kaiba, you can't be serious," he growled. And what did he mean by 'not good enough'? He didn't believe that for one moment. "Your wrong Kaiba, I am good enough. I love Sam, I would do anything for her and I would protect her as long as I lived. You may not like me, but you must know I am good to my words. We may not get along, but that shouldn't have an affect on Sam," Atem said. He couldn't lose Sam, he just couldn't. But he couldn't let her get disowned. Why did Sam have to be in the middle.
Joey smiled but that same hurt look was on his face. It really felt as if he crashed, he was so happy with Seto and then all of a sudden it was over. The worse thought in his mind that kept playing over and over again, was that this was for one day. It was a deal, not a date. He really wanted something with Seto, he wanted a relationship. But he felt his heart decompose slowly as he realized it will never happen. "It's just hard you know? I'm never going to find somebody to be with," he said feeling his sexuality doomed him for a life of loneliness.
Akiko shook her head, "Joey, you and Seto aren't the only gay people in the world." She tried to help him see reality. As for him and Seto, she wan't sure if Seto was even able to care for somebody. She scolded herself, realizing that even he could care and it was wrong to think.
Joey shook his head, "I can't just walk up to guys and just ask like girls can, Akiko." It wasn't going to be easy for him, he didn't even know where to look.
Akiko frowned, knowing it wouldn't be easy. "Well, maybe you Seto should talk then. I mean, if everything was going well before- there had to be a reason why it.... well... went wrong," she said looking to Yugi to see if he agreed or not.

Yugi frowned as he listened to his friend. He felt like for once he couldnt halp his friend, that Joey was really alone in this. He didnt want that to be true though. But the only person he saw that could help was Kaiba. He smiled, being reminded by Akiko that they could still encourage Joey. "Yeah Joey, give Seto another chance. I'm sure he's not all bad. You cant give up after one fight." He said positively. "Besides, Its Kaiba, if it doesnt work out with him then that is certainly not the end of your love life."
Seto narrowed his eyes back at Atem. "Of course I'm serious. If she wants to be with you then I will have nothing to do with her." seto said seriously. He would never really kick out his own sister but he knew that she would never pick Atem over him so he didnt ever have to make that decision. "She has me to protect her, she doesnt need you." He said protectively. "Besides, love doesnt really exist."
Sam felt like crying. Her own brother would really get rid of her that easily? That really hurt her. She started shaking a little and held her tears back. She looked at Atem. She felt so loved by him and for him. She couldnt imagine not being with him now. How was she supposed to choose? "Seto youre wrong! I love Atem!" She protested but he ignored her.

Atem snarled, but paused. How could sweet Sam be related remotely to stubborn Kaiba. They were nothing alike, or so he saw at the moment. He couldn't have her disowned and kicked out. This was her home and safety. Atem felt disgusted at Kaiba, mentally cursing at him. He loved Sam, he didn't want to give her up. But how could he make her choose him over her own brother? He couldn't, he would be breaking his promise to her. Hearing her stand up for herself made him feel both glad and worried. Worried that Kaiba would kick her out. "Sam shouldn't have to choose. She can have both. Can't you see your hurting her? That she's the one who will suffer? Stop being greedy, Kaiba," he said. He looked Kaiba dead in the eyes and added, "I love her, and there's nothing you can do to ever take these feelings away from me or her." He looked at Sam and smiled, "I'll never give up on you." With that he turned around and began to walk away.
Joey smiled though he still looked sad. "Your right Yugi, thank you. Thank you both," he said. He nodded as he walked towards Seto. However, he kept his distance from him, as if waiting for him to finish with Atem and Sam. He wasn't sure what was going on between them, he was to focused on what he would say to him. He kept his hands in his pockets as he just stared at Seto. He needed to know why Seto changed, why he was embarassed of him.
"Good luck, Jou," she said as she nodded back to him. She glanced at Yugi smiling. He really was a good guy, she couldn't help but feel proud of him. However, the moment didn't last as she saw Atem walk away without Sam, who looked upset and Seto who looked pissed. "Uh oh," she said feeling as if Seto strikes again. "Geez, it's like we're all on Jerry Springer....." Akiko said half jokingly as she face palmed. She held Yugi's hand as they approached Atem. "What happened? Something happened," she said to get his attension. Yugi could probably talk to him better, they were brothers afterall. [[lol wrong]]

((wanna have them have a sleep over at Yugi's or someone's? so they can do something while Seto and Joey do their thing))
Seto gritted his teeth, for once at a loss for words. He still wouldnt allow it. he was far too protective of his sister. The only reason he let her go out with Joey was because he wanted Joey around him. As Atem turned and walked away Seto turned back to Sam. "Get in the house." He ordered.
Sam smiled softly, hearing all the wonderfull things Atem was saying. She took a step back as Seto looked back at her. She pulled her hand from his grip. "Seto, I really do love him..." She said pleadingly. "You cant decide my feelings for me you know..." she said, not able to stop smiling from what Atem said.
Seto growled and was about to respond until he noticed Joey approaching. He stared back at him emotionlessly, not noticing Sam slip away from him as he was destracted by Joey.
Yugi laughed sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck and sweat dropping from what Akiko said. "Yeah it seems that way." He said. "But I'm sure it will all work out for the best. Joey's tough." He said positively. He looked at Atem and frowned. He knew it wasnt going to be simple since Kaiba was involved but Sam and Atem were in love right? So even Kaiba couldnt break them apart. He smiled to try and cheer him up. "Kaiba?" He guessed what the problem was.

Joey stepped forward when everyone was away from Seto. His eyes looked numb, because deep down he was scared about the worse that could happen. He was torn between wanting to just grab unto Seto and just punching him. The only thing that he could manage to say is, "Are you really that embarrassed of me?" His voice was inbetween hurt and aggrivation. He kept his hands in his pockets as he watched Seto. Joey's timing was pretty bad, Seto was already pissed at the situation with Atem.
"I hope so," she said hoping everyone will be happy in the end. "Seto?" she questioned. Rolling her eyes a bit, she figured as much. She never really was used to calling him by his last name. Perhaps because it was Sam's last name and felt by saying Kaiba it would cause confussion of which one.
Atem looked over to see both Yugi and Akiko. His angry look faded into just a plain serious look. He nodded to Yugi. "Of course, I should have seen this coming. Seto just can't let go of his sister." He then looked away angerly, "He can't put aside his dislike for me either."
Akiko thought about the whole situation and analyzed it. "Well, she is his sister. And with no parents he probably protects her like a father to a daughter," she said justifying Seto's view. "However, he shouldn't automatically disallow you and Sam to be together just because you two don't get along. And when it comes down to the nitty gritty, it's not his decision to make. Sam is her own person," she said justifying Atem's view. She had a tendency to try and view all sides of a situation. "What exactly did he say?" she asked.
Atem was shocked to hear her stand up for Kaiba, until he heard her basically take his side. "He basically said he would kick Sam out and disown her if she and I were to go out," he said, "I..... can't make her choose. She shouldn't have to."

"I'm not embarressed of you. I'm embarressed of being with you..." Seto said snottily, crossing his arms and acting as if Joey asked a stupid question. He realized how that sounded and tried to reword himself. He was embarressed to be in love. It proved that Yugi was right about him and he hated that. "Love is for the weak. I dont want to look weak in front of my rivals..." He tried to explain but didnt do such a good job of it.
Sam walked up quietly behind Atem after Seto was destracted. She slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him from behind as she did earlier. She rested her head on his shoulder. "Watcha talking about?" She asked.
Yugi frowned a little as Akiko defended Kaiba, wondering why she was defending him at all. But he knew she was right so he didnt argue with her. he smiled again as Sam came back over, knowing that would reasure Atem that Sam wouldnt give up on him either. "Hey, how about we all go over to my- er our house?" He asked, not wanting to part.

Even though Joey expected the worse, it still hurt. He looked away from Seto, shameful. He was worried more about his image then his feelings? His stomach boiled within. "Love is week huh?" he growled under his breath. He clenched his fists with anger. "You know, I really did like you Kaiba. But if your too ashamed to be around me then f*** you!" He shouted as he shook. "He really can't stand your guts...." he growled as he turned around and ran off. He was upset, but he bared his teeth rather then explained that what Seto said upset him. He didn't even want to look at him anymore. He felt so ashamed at himself, disgusted even.
"No, she shouldn't have to make a choice. She shouldn't have to be put up to a choice either," Akiko agreed with Atem. Seeing Sam she walked behind her and held Yugi's hand, as if hiding her out of Seto's view. "Sam-sam!" Akiko said cheerfully but quiet enough so Seto wouldn't hear. Not like he would even notice at this moment.
Atem gasped slightly but smiled greatly when he saw Sam hugged him from behind. "Sam," he said as he rubbed her arms, happy that she was there.
"Walk and talk, walk and talk," she said trying to get out of Seto's vision. She smiled at the idea of a sleep over. "Oooo, sounds fun," Akiko said. "Quick, time to steal Sam. Your coming with us!" she said playfully.
Atem liked the idea as well but was worried. "What about your brother?" he asked not wanting to but her shelter in danger.
"What Seto doesn't know, won't hurt you two," she said in a chirp.
Atem looked at Sam with hopeful eyes. He wanted to be able to be with her. "What do you say?" he asked her.

Seto growled but felt more empty then angry. he should be furious at Joey for speaking to him like that. But he felt like running after Joey. Hearing Joey say that he liked him only made it harder. Well it seemed like things were going back to normal. He walked inside, slamming the door behind him. He assumed Sam had listened to him and went to her room. He didnt bother checking as he stomped up the stairs, muttering cruel words, trying to convince himself that he was angry and that he didnt care about Joey.
Sam walked but looked back at Seto and Joey. "I'm not sure about this..." She said, letitng go of Atem. Sure she wanted to sneak out but she had never disobeyed Seto before. But all it took was one look at Atem and she couldnt say no. She smiled. "Alright, lets go."
Yugi smiled, glad they could get back to having fun. He was glad they were getting away from Kaiba too. He loved Akiko's personality. She was so fun to be around and always brightened their moods. That was one reason he was so attracted to her. He knew they would always make each other happy. he chuckled.

"Aww.... it'll be ok Sam. Seto will just end up going in his office and work until he falls asleep. He'll think your in your room and won't even think that your out," Akiko said playfully. She tapped her chin and looked up as if in thought. "Gonna need clothes...." she said out loud to herself. She looked at Yugi and smiled, "Hey, I need to get some stuff for the night. I'll run to my house and meet you back yours ok?" She then looked at Sam, "Do you want to borrow some of my clothes for the night? I think it would be too risky to sneak back into your room to get some," she offered.
Atem smiled and caressed her face a bit. He was happy she agreed. They both loved each other and neither of them wanted to be split apart. They would have to keep this from her brother. Atem didn't want it to be this way, but it looked as if it would have to be. He wrapped his arm around Sam has they walked. He was pretty enthused about Sam sleeping over. It was more time spent for her, and also more cuddling time- that's how he looked at it at least. His stomach growled slightly, they hadn't eaten since the park. "Is anybody else hungry?" he asked.
Joey reached his house and opened the door. His mind was like a storm that held too many emotions. One part of his cursed Seto, the other weeped. Why did it have to be like this? He felt tricked, used. If Seto just told him he wanted him for sex, that would have been fine. But Seto led him to believe he also cared about him. He couldn't just go to his room and sleep. He had to forget this ever happened, he just wanted to forget. He snuck into the kitchen, knowing one way to forget. The same way his father does, alcohol. When your drunk, your happy right? Not a care in the world. Joey had never really drank before, in fact- he knew nothing about alcohol. He snatched an unopen bottle of something. It was clear and tall- a bottle of Vodka. He began chugging it, not knowing any better. His father was passed out in his chair, as usual. Joey cringed from the taste as he almost spit it up. It was horrible, but warm as it went down into his stomach. He did it again. He went out of his house and began to wonder with the bottle, taking periodic chuggs at it. It wasn't soon that he couldn't even hear the footsteps behind him.

Like predicted, Seto went directly to his office. He turned on his laptop after angrily plopping down in his leather chair. He propped his arm on the arm rest of the chair and leaned his head against his hand tieredly. Why was he still thinking about Joey? He couldnt help it. He tried to convince himself that he just wanted to have sex with Joey but he was in denile and he even knew that. He sighed and tried to focous on his work. But all he could think about was how Joey smiled at him, his taste, his touch, his hair and lips and body... it was impossible for Seto to focous.
Sam sighed. "I hope so..." She said and leaned into Atem as he wrapped his arm around her. She looked back at Akiko. "Yeah thanks." She giggled as Atem's stomach growled. "Yeah I could go for some food."
Yugi laughed a little. "Ok, you guys go get your stuff and we'll get the food and meet you back at the game shop." Yugi figured out a plan. He couldnt wait to tell Atem all about his day. After all he never would have been able to tell Akiko how he felt without Atem's support.

Joey could already feel a good buzz working up. He felt good, he wanted to feel as good as he did when Seto was with him. This wasn't the same though, not by a long shot. He wanted to feel good and forget Seto and what happened. He kept drinking the Vodka, not caring about the taste anymore. It burnt his nose from the fumes, but the intoxicating feeling was a much better feeling. He walked the quiet streets like a zombie, slowly loosing his senses. He wobbled slightly as he leaned up against the wall. "Stupid Kaiba...." he said not quite sluring yet.
