Chase licked at his wrist and forearm, both having been cut from the shards. His tongue caught a sharp edge in his forearm and he looked at his skin. The red fountain there had lessened but it was still there and a white sharp thing was poking out of it. He picked at it with hsi fingers before his head jerked up at Nikon's entrance. Then Ari's. Chase crouched on the counter, staring quietly at them as he shifted around in the few shards of bowl there was. That wasn't a good hat. Then Ari did something Chase approved of greatly. He picked up a shard of cereamic then threw it at the window! Chase let out a loud 'mrrow!' and leapt down from the counter, scooping up some shards and wincing but not bothering that they were causing more gashes in his hands. He loped over to the neko, and pelted his handful at the window as well, his eyes shining with a glee that he hadn't left for ages. Escape! Although the shards didn't go through the transperant space there and bounced to the floor, Chase looked over as Nikon grabbed Ari's hand, then he snarled. "Escape!" He agreed in a rough voice, scratchy like sandpaper. The boy ran back to the cupboard, sluffling over the shards of bowl to find where the rest of the disfunctional hats were. Maybe they could aid in escaping! "Good idea Ari." The praise was soft but audible. It was the first time in his years in captivity that he had told someone something like that. To him, it was the greatest thing someone could hear from his lips. Praise. He had nothing higher to give, and that praise was never used.

Ari broke free of Nikon's orders and ran over to Chase, deciding to help him out. Their 'master' stood there, dumbfounded. Regrets for picking out the two boys and knowing they had a bad record were beginning to flow to him. Ari grabbed more of the bowls and smashed them on the ground, picking up random pieces and purring loudly. He was having the most fun in ages, and Chase's praise only made his behavior worse. He chucked the handfuls of ceramic shards at the window, a slight crack growing. Happily looking at the boy, Ari waved his hands around and meowed loudly. "Crack... Crack!! Escape!!" he yelled and looked at Nikon who was still just standing there. But, Ari was too caught up in finally having some fun that he paid little attention to the man. Who cared if they were braking the rules? Who cared if they were going to cause the man grief? It was exciting and it was something he had been praised for. Of course he was going to continue attacking the thin invisible shield keeping him from the outside world. Spinning around happily and loudly, Ari gathered up another handful.
Enough was enough. If they were going to continue on like that, then Nikon would have to be forced to send them back to the slavery. But, what would happen to them? Most likely they would end up hating humans even more thanks to his decision... Ari did not seem to hate humans, but a lot of things. Probably being locked up the most. Then there was Chase. He definitly hated humans. He seemed to have a slight detest to the neko, but he was working with him! Had they planned it out? Nikon stood there one second longer before grabbing Ari by the wrist and dragging him back to their room, the neko boy protesting loudly with his meowing. "No!!! Escape!!" he screamed and shook around violently. "Mother!!"
((Angst!!!))

Sirica gasped as her wings unfurled with a slight whoosh. They were instantly open, and the feathers were plainly poorly clipped, her wingspan was only about four feet. Tears sprang to her eyes it hurt so badly to open them but the freedom felt so good. She turned on a dime and wrapped arms and wings around Mordred, silent tears dripping from her eyes. Her slight frame was wracked by sobs, but she didn't wail. She only whispered, "Thank you, thank you m,aster Mordred. thank you..." Again and again. Her crest had gone flat against her head, and any other feathers on her body had seemingly melted back into skin. (I am So sorry about not being on, our computer is totalled right now, I can't even type up my papers for school. I'm borrowing a friend's right now. I also have a musical to be in so I'll be even busier until after Nov. 4. hopefully by then every thing will be back to normal. Hopefully...))

(( I never knew what that word meant. . . but yeah! ^-^ And that window better be reinforced glass ))
Chase pulled out a bowl, holding it in his hands as he watched Ari smash the others onto the floor. A large shard cut into his foot, centimeters away from puncturing a vein and cutting off a toe. He knelt down and pulled out the coloured ceramic before looking up at the glass and seeing a small crack at in it. He grinned preditorially at the bowl in his hand before throwing the whole thing at the glass. It shattered and the crack in the invisible shield preventing them from escaping, cracked and webbed out along itself. Chase frowned, walking foward to insect it as he left a red trail behind him on the ground. "Strong invisible piece o' --!" His next words where cut off by the sudden yell from Ari. He glanced to the side, then watched apatheticly as Nikon dragged Ari off somewhere. In all honesty, he didn't care what happened to the neko, but it had been nice to feel the ardenaline Ari had placed indirectly into his system. Running out of the room. . . throwing the disfunctional hats. Which reminded him: Better throw some more. He didn't really care if Ari was dragged off. Yeah, he was that heartless and uncaring. Hey, you probably would be too after growing up with cheetahs as your family then having them murdered and you taken away an an extoic creature. Then being stuck underground in the dark with meger rations for five years and trying to escape from the cage you were never let out of.
Hell, you would be pissed! So, of course, Chase hadn't very much concern or emotion for others anymore. He just continued to find things to smash against the invisible barrier. Some were to soft. Others were hard but didn't help. He gave a long hiss and eventually turned back to looking for more of those unusual hats. . .

((Angst has something to do with anxiety and dread or whatever the f*** my dictionary said. And, yay!!! Chase shows how heartless he truly is!! Woo-whoo!! And Nikon would have had to buy some strong windows if he didn't want his slave peoples escaping or anyone breaking in easily. Doesn't really seem to be Ari and Chase proof. ^^))
Ari turned slightly and dug his feline fangs into Nikon's wrist, making him yell out loudly and letting go of the neko. Soon Ari was back over at the ceramic bowl shards and continued to throw them at the window. It was beginning to break, but only slightly. How much longer would he have to throw the bowl pieces? Oh well, it was fun! The most fun he had had in a long time. Gathering up more of the pieces, Ari ran over to the window and looked around. Now his mind was working. How to get the little cracked area bigger. He took a big shard he picked up and began to hammer at the crack that was forming. It was always like that. He always escaped. But... Then he would be sent back to the slavery and up for sale again. Was that something he really wanted again? He stopped just before his hand hit the window, and he thought longer. Would it really be better for him to do what he was doing? He was really just making life harder for the human who bought him, but what did he care? Humans never really cared for him. They always wanted to use him for work, always use him for their chores. Humans were lazy beings who could not do their work themselves. They had to get employees or even slaves. Ari sat down and began to growl. Why had he been nice to Nikon before? Well, he had not had the thoughts up until he tried getting out. He looked back at the human, his eyes narrowed.
((Hmm... Don't know what to write form here))

Aneres stepped back quickly when Sirica opened her wings, it had startled her. The vampire watched her turn around and hug Mordred. She could hear what the girl was saying but she just stood there confused for awhile then shrugged. Turning in her heels, Aneres started for her room. "If you need me for anything I'll be in my room talking to myself." She waved as she disappeared from the hall. ((Okay.))

Mordred was shocked by the hug. He didn't know what to do so he just hugged her back. He looked at Aneres as she said she was heading to her room. "Wait, I want you to show Sirica to the rooms that she can choose from and tell her anything else she might need to know," Mordred said to Aneres.

Aneres reapearred at the top of the stairs, she looked down the stairs and the hall amd at Mordred. She sighed. "Okay but she has to let go of you unless you want me to drag both of you to the rooms." The vampire trotted down the stairs over to Mordred and tapped the girls back between her shoulder blades. "Come on or I'll pry you off of him." She threatened. ((Mordred you need to post in Lukitia city.))

Mordred gently pushed her off. "Now look Aneres will show you to the rooms you can chose and when you do take a shower and change back into theses cloths," Mordred said to Sirica. "Then once your all done we will go and get you some better cloths," Mordred. Mordred then felt a stab in his head. His other self was trying to make itself know. Mordred put his hand on his head. "I'll be in my room when you are done," Mordred said as hed head up to his room and closed the door.

((I lied, November fourth is the last day of our play, so I'll be fine by then. ~_^)) Sirica turned to Aneres, holding the overly large t-shirt to her chest and nodded. She folded her wings and rubbed the tears from her eyes. She smiled lightly to the vampire girl and followed her as she began the tour of the house. Her gray eyes were wide with wonder, as she had never been given her own room. Rather she had been kept in large "bird cages" like a pet. Not even a slave just an animal, a thing to look at and enjoy while it sat behind bars. She had only liked one of them, that was the only master she had sung for, and a bird demon's song was something no one could resist. She wondered what the rooms would be like, and if there would be one to suit her.

((Its okay. It would be wierd if Sirica tried to take Aneres's room.))
Aneres smiled back at the girl, she didn't want to scare her. "This way, umm, please tell me if I start to walk to quickly." She started down the hall. "This is the living room." The girl stopped briefly enough for Sirica to look around then continued to the kitchen and the dinning room, again she stopped long enough for the girl to look.
"Once I show you main bathroom then I'll take you to chose which room you want." Aneres looked up at the cieling for a second then continued on. "So whats your favorite color?" She asked. The vampire wanted to get to know Sirica a bit but she couldn't figure out how so she decided to do what she does best. Ask questions.

Mordred went into his still holding his head. When he got into his room he played a record of some soothing music. He hoped it would calm him down enough so that he would gain full control again. When it seemed like it had pasted he looked out his window it look like the sun was comeing up. It looked like it was going to be a sunny day.

Chase grinned and threw the metal strangely shaped stick at the window, narrowly missing Ari's head and denting what invisible barrier there was there. A sharp cchilk! could be heard and the green eyes brightened and their pupils narrowed into eclipse shapes. The cheetah boy looked rather pleased with himself considering he had almost put a huge bump on the back of Ari's head. But then again, he hadn't liked the way the neko had paused in helping him break the window. It was as if Ari was conspiring against Chase, and he wasn't too pleased about that. He took two large steps forward, then the room shook. But it didn't. Chase was feeling rather lightheaded from the loss of blood and his vision was blurrying and dulling before sharpening.
He staggered to the right, then gripped hold of the counter, groaning softly and closing his eyes. He could feel the shard of cemeramic in his forearms, fingers and feet, and the blood the driped out of those cuts. Green eyes flutered open then widened and he grunted as he pushed himself away from the counter and towards the window, stmbling as he felt his knee give out with the third step. "Damn. . . "
(( Nikon could knock him out or shock him or something. Chase wouldn't be strong enough to deal with that yet, and the loss of blood is making him snakey and weak. So. . . I'm making it a bit easier for Nikon ))

Nikon looked around, thinking of a way to take control of the situation. He ran over to Chase, hitting the back of his neck in a place to knock him out. Looking over at Ari, Nikon pointed to the room. "Go, now!" he commanded. For a few seconds, the neko sat there with a confused and scared look on his face. Nikon had hit Chase, Chase had almost hit him in the back of the head. What kind of crazy household had he been brought to? "Now!!" Nikon yelled and made the neko jump in place. Bolting to the room, Ari jumped on the bed and hid under the covers. Nikon carried Chase back to the room, grumbled curses as he set the boy on the bed beside the lump which was Ari. Scrambling from the bed and on to the ground, moving further and further away from Chase, Ari began to hiss. He did not want to be in the house any longer. He did not care whether or not the human had been kind to him in the beginning. Now it was made clear that he had to escape. But, would he assist the boy in escaping as well? He shook his head and glared at the human owner as he left the room, making sure to lock it tightly as he went back to his desk. Resting his head in his hands, elbows on the desk, Nikon let out a long and heavy sigh. What in the world was he going to do?

"Stay away fr-" Chase yelled, before he felt a sharp pain in his neck. His vision slipped into a momentary darkness and his head fell forwards, then he collapsed onto the discarded bowl and plates he and Ari had been using. They smashed and Chase felt one large shard slice open his cheek, but he didn't feel much except for the pleasant nothingness circulating around him at the present time. The boy heard yelling, but it seem to be coming from so far away. . . Then someone picked him up! Chase struggled half heartedly, in reality, his struggles being twitches and slight shakes of his head. He was carried somewhere then set down. He swallowed hard, wincing visibly as hisses echoed in his ears. He whimpered -an unusual sound from the grey haired boy- and rolled over with a great effort.
He didn't feel all that good now. And he was dizzy. Chase let out a small howl, pushing himself up on his elbows, his arms shaking violently then fell over. He wondered what they thought of him now. . . He never liked to appear weak, but somehow Nikon, and maybe Ari, had dwindled him down to this pathetic level. He gave up, lying there and feeling the sheets become sticky under him slowly. "Unhhh. . . "
