Chyna sighed with relief as he let her inside. She felt awkward; interrupting the class, but feel better when -minutes later- a new teacher appear in the classroom. She realize that the new teacher, Jake as he like to be called, was the actual teacher. Though she was still unsure who the man was. She guess that he was the headmaster. "So, Mr....?" She pause, since it sink in that she didn't know his name. "Mr.Headm-master, when am I getting my things?" she whisper, being considerate of the ongoing class.

Akira looked at her watch and noticed she was late for her first class. She sighed and walked in to the building. She walked up to the class room and lightly knocked on the door. She silently walked in throwing an apologetic look at the teacher. She took a seat near the back and opened her notebook. She listened and took notes. After the class was dismissed she left and started to wander the halls. She had a while left before he next class. She took a flight of stairs up to the third floor. She noticed a very handsome teacher in the room 3D. She stopped and looked at him with intrigue. Akira kept in mind to talk to him. She though about joining his class even though she wasn't scheduled for it. She smiled and opened the door silently. She floated to the only empty seat. Akira flipped her long hair as she took a seat. She sat silently surveying the class.

As Chyna waited for a response, she saw a new student enter. She watched her out of the corner of her eye. She watch her silently. If need be she'd talk to her. She felt something different about her. She didn't seem...cooler like the rest of the students. She felt warmer. Like there was a fire burning inside her. She was definitely different from the rest. She felt...different. But Chyna couldn't quite put her finger on what was so different. Maybe she didn't belong in this class, or she didn't have the same abilities. Chyna was seriously stumped.

Akira felt a pair if eyes watching her. She shot her mysterious dark blue eyes on the girl. She smiled at her and motioned for her to take the seat next to her. Akira loved to meet new people and make new friends. Her eyes returned to the handsome teacher. She couldn't wait for class to end so she could talk to him. Akira tugged an elegant hand through her long wavy black hair and tossled it a bit. She had always been told that she looked good with messy hair. Akira knew she was beautiful. She worked hard to keep the figure she had. All her curves needed special care. Akira loved to run. It was like it burned up all the energy in her body. So when she couldn't used her fire powers when she was younger she would run. And thus she was very lean. Her stomach was flat and she had amazing curves. Akira could be mistaken for a model if it wasn't for the stud in her nose.

She saw the girl motion her to sit next to her. She threw a glance at the headmaster before walking to her. She took the seat beside the girl. She felt a bit awkward, knowing inside this wasn't her class and that this probably wasn't even her element. As she sat down, she study the girl. She looked beautiful. The only thing that could've kept her from becoming famous was probably her nose-ring. She made Chyna feel bad about herself. Though she was much younger and wouldn't have as pronounced curves for a while, she couldn't help but wish she'd look as fair as her when she grow older.

Akira smiled at the young girl. "Your right. This isn't my element." She whispered back to her. "My element is fire, but I couldn't help but come in. The teacher intrigues me. He is quite gorgeous." She winked at her and chuckled almost inaudibly. She knew that this was a basic class and Akira was all expert level but she just couldn't help her self. Jake. So thats his name. She thought to her self.

Chyna listen attentively to her. A small smile cross her own lips at her words. "Hmm. The teacher could pass for my dad." she muse, then thinking that he really could. "My name is Chyna. And I'm not so sure this is my element, either. I'm beginner and just got here, thanks to my parents. They took me to a shrink!" she whisper. It was nice having someone to talk to. Maybe she would grow to like this chick. Even though she was much older than herself, the girl reminded Chyna of herself. She was sort of a rebel...punk-like. Especially with the stud in her nose, and other things that stood out.

Akira smiled. She pulled out a mirror to make sure her make-up was in check. She wore dark black eyeliner on the top and bottom lids of her eyes but it made them look cat-like. And it really made the dark blue pop. She turned to the young girl. "Hm I love your name. It suits you. A unique name for a unique person. And as for your parents. Don't hold it against them. They just didn't know what else to do. I mean its not like its normal for me to be able to do this." Akira snapped her fingers and a small flame appeared above her pointer finger. She blew it out and smiled.

She smile. The girl was right. It wasn't normal. "I guess it isn't normal to do that," she whisper, then she smile. She watch her check her make-up, then it reminded her of her own. Thick black eyeliner with heavy gray eyeshadow and hot pink mascara. It made her eye lashes have a sort of orange look, the way the pink contrast to the black. "So what's your name?" she ask with a curious tone. She pause, then added, "You're very pretty." It wasn't just a bland compliment. She really meant it. Then Chyna remembered the headmaster. Her cheeks burned a bright scarlet color, then she got up and swiftly made her way back to the headmaster. She turned around and mouthed sorry to the girl she hadn't learned her name. Maybe she could continue her conversation after class. Maybe she'd even have a class with her. She smile inwardly, then wipe it off quickly. She wasn't sure if she'd get in trouble or not with the headmaster. He seemed more of a easy-going type.

Akira smiled and waved goodbye to the girl. She took out her notebook and slowly started to doodle. She made intricate designs that intertwined. She smiled as she began to shade different parts as she waited for the class to end.

Liriale was about to raise opposition against assistance, but quickly submitted when her head began to get quite dizzy that she just closed her eyes and focused on her breathing until she was set down in front of her door. Raising her head up slightly, since she had already felt embarrassed by the whole scene she made, Liriale walked into the room. Gratefully muttering thanks to Madam Bone who had ordered the water cooler Liriale had requested. She quickly made her way to way to the water cooler and began gulping up cups of nice cold water as if they were shots of whiskey. Finally satisfied, she sipped thoughtfully on her fourth cup as her mind raced through the earlier events. She was full of questions, but she had to remind herself that the incident with Nathan was more imperative then her questions and Aliminius had a class to return to as well. “Thank you” she said softly in between her sips. Releasing a sigh, she began. “To resume where we left off, Nathan LeFran, an air student, came into my office earlier this morning with third degree burns covering the palm of his right hand and the undersides of his fingers. Upon questioning him, he revealed that ‘a man with the cloak and metal had set his book on fire when LeFran touched it.' Further questioning about the cause of the incident only gave me a noncommittal shake of his head. So, I requested to meet with you and would like to hear your side of the story.” Liriale finished and refilled her cup, paused at the cooler and turned around to offer, “Please help yourself to water, if you need some.” Then she settled herself in her office chair crossing her legs and waiting for Aliminius’s reply.

Aliminius watched Liriale carefully as she gulped down cup after cup of water, saying nothing and making no noise or movement. He watched her slow down and sip at the fourth cup of water, relaxing slightly as she seemed to be alright. He then heard her thank him for being there, simply nodding before he listened to her story. He then watched her carefully for a moment, composing his thoughts. Then, he began to speak, pacing back and forth in front of her chair as he spoke, setting the book down as his gloved hands clasped behind his back.

"This morning, I arrived at the school slightly late, Miss Montoya. And as I was in a rush to get to my class, where the children were still locked out of the room, I noticed a group of students abusing another student. Mister LeFran was one of the students harassing this child. I walked over and told them to stop, and apparently they did not recognize me, because one student, I assume the head bully of them, swung at me. I blocked the first few swings, and then when he swung at my face, I let him do so. He will probably be in later with a broken knuckle or two. Unfortunately, the other students all moved in to assist their fallen leader. I incapacitated them without hurting them. No permanent damage was done. However, young Nathan, who was the only student who did not attack me, instead tried to grab my book and run away with it. I warned him not to, but he didn't listen."

H
e then walked back to the book on the desk, running his hand over it. The book started to flame, although the flames did not burn or even singe the desk. He slowly watched them for a moment before speaking again.

"The book is a family heirloom. It contains the deepest and darkest secrets of controlling the flames. I have read it from cover to cover many times, and know all that there is to know about it. However, the book will only let a fire user who has knowledge of the dark arts touch it. All others shall die to its defenses. When he grabbed the book, he triggered its defensive reaction, and I had to quickly stop it. If I had not, he would probably not have been alive to walk into your office this afternoon. The reason the book stays with me and is not locked up is because there are many who would kill to get their hands on this book, and I am wont to let it out of my sight. I apologize that he got involved with it, but I would suggest in the future that students do not touch this book. It is incredibly dangerous."

H
e then picked up the book, slowly holding it against his side as he spoke again softly.

"Did you have any more questions for me, Miss Montoya? My class will be working hard until the end of the period, and so I have some time to answer any questions that you might have."

[[ Note: Delta began his dialogue when "the headmaster left." So all of what he said did not take place until after what I am posting. ]]

The Headmaster was about to answer his question when a girl walked in and began a conversation with her. Though he was slightly annoyed that his conversation was interrupted, it was nothing he made a fuss over. He smiled, seeing that she made a friend. He wrote a quick note to her, placed it on a table where he was once standing, and left, not wanting to disturb the class any longer. Once outside, he could hear the teacher making introductions and talking about his way of teaching. The Headmaster chuckled lightly to himself, then began down the hall, whistling.

The note read:
"You are in the right class now. For second period, go wherever you please. Details will be announced at lunch for all students. The first empty dorm room that you enter will be yours."

~~~
Tsuki watched as the Headmaster wrote the note, curious as to what it contained. Once he left, the teacher began to speak. To show respect, and because she was interested, she sat up and payed full attention.
Though the idea of calling a teacher by his first name made Tsuki uncomfortable, she would do her best to comply. His further words did not repulse Tsuki, but, instead, make her intrigued. She was always open to new ways of teaching.
However, when he flung his book out the window, she gasped, and her hands flew to her mouth. Her gasp was not of delight, but of despair. Books were like precious friends to her, and she was horrified to see them treated as such. She was slightly relieved when he assured them that they were helpful, but his actions could not erase themselves. His speech made her see why he saw books as an enemy, and eventually she got over her shock.
When he asked for questions, she spoke out loud, figuring he would prefer that she did not raise her hand.
"Now that we have covered the safety tips, what will we begin on actual water manipulation?" she asked, eager to begin.
Akira looked out the window and started to day dream. She was getting annoyed at how this class dragged on. She sighed and let her mind wander to random things that tugged at her mind.
The bell rang, signaling the end of first period. Following the bell, there was an announcement, in the headmaster's voice. Everyone could hear the words spoken, yet it was not too loud.
"The newest students may be wondering what class they going to for second period. In many locations around the University, there is a sign posted with the various classes, room numbers, and teachers for your elective class. You may pick anyone you wish. Have a good day," the voice said, then ended.
