"That's pretty likely for two reasons, one, with your guys fighting capabilities, you'll need some sorta power to actually help us, and two, I have a power, I can control wind, but that doesn't mean everyone here has some special power, but I really can't know for sure." Doragon responded as he kept walking.

((It's okay, Siri's just cranky because she hasn't really 'woken up' for a while, and she's getting worried. It makes for a more interesting RP, in any case.)) Siri snorts as she pushes off from the tree to trail after Monollius and Doragon. Passing by Anderson, she off-handedly said, "This isn't some comic book. I seriously doubt this world is divided straight down the line with good and evil." Shaking her head, Siri continued, "Besides, who says we're the good guys? For all we know, we could really be the villians."

Monollius could not quite restrain himself. Without a thought, he reached out one old hand and gently patted Siri. "Do not let that precious mind of yours go to waste. I would dread its absence for even a moment, child." With a faint smirk to himself, his attention returned to the unmarked path ahead. No wonder he had taken a liking to Siri. She was intelligent, quick, and contemplative. She was actually thinking ahead. She was also willing to doubt her own value and role; She was open-minded. Not to mention her words had only echoed his very own doubts about the Earth folk. Of course, only time would tell. "But it may be too late for that," he mumbled to himself.

Aria sent one last apologetic smile toward the actually nice boy and followed the others. It wasn't that she wanted to, not really; most of them were idiots, and Gandalf, who definitely did not fit into the idiot category, made her vaguely nervous. Most of them did, however, know her world. If she mentioned Berkley, California, they would know what she was talking about, and she needed that.
She smiled slightly as Siri spoke; okay, so she wasn't in the idiot category either. Siri reminded Aria of the girls she'd always wanted to talk to, the interesting girls, the ones who had other things to talk about besides tryouts, lip-gloss, boyfriends, and the hopelessly uncool. Of course, she couldn't ever actually do that. Her friends would think she'd hit her head, and the people she was trying to talk to probably would too.
"If we're the nefarious villains, I don't think the heroes have much to worry about," she interjected cheerfully. She was suddenly in a much better mood. "I know I would probably just end up accidentally blowing myself to smithereens and saving them the trouble. But," she added, her expression becoming thoughtful, "There is a certain continuity to that, as well. In most of my books, the heroes start out as nothing, nobody. They only get to the middle of the book by the grace of God, or whoever."
She shrugged. "Anyway, I don't think this is the time or the place to be worrying about the moral implications of our actions. This isn't a comic book; we could easily get ourselves killed, again excepting Monollius and the other more permanent residents. Let's just get to the village, learn how to not suck quite so much a**, and fix the spirit mess as best we can. If we survive, we can look back and reflect on weather or not we were actually the good guys. Or," she clarified, "You guys can. I honestly am perfectly fine with either side of the moral fence."

"I don't want to be a bad guy!" Anderson bristled defensively, "I don't want to be someone who destroys the world! Although I guess to the people we're fighting, whoever they may be, we are the bad guys." He quietened then, it really was all a matter of perspective, but he had never considered for a second that he might be one of the 'nefarious villains' as Aria put it.
He glared angrily at Siri, he knew it was pathetic at how easily he was hurt, and that was part of the reason he was so so annoyed at Siri, because he was so annoyed at himself. It was a vicious circle.

Siri looked up, shocked, when Monollius patted her shoulder. The gesture seemed oddly familiar, as though they had been friends for a long while. Mentally shaking her head, she focused on were she was walking, making sure she didn't trip and fall. It was true. As Doragon had pointed out, they were rather hopeless. It would be a miracle if they got out of this alive, never mind victorious. Whatever this was. Siri still wasn't quite sure what they were supposed to be doing, it was all pretty vague.
Waving a hand at Aria, she offhandedly stated, "I'm an Atheist. So I guess God's grace isn't really going to help me and I'll...you know, die or something." Smiling slightly, she looked up from the path in front of her. "I still want to know what happens if we die here. Do our bodies on Earth just disappear? I was thinking, maybe we'd go into a coma, and never wake. Being that our minds were here but had ded, I think that makes sense."
Out of the corner of her eye, she caught Anderson glaring at her, though she hadn't heard him speak. Her smile widened into a full-out smirk, and she winked at him. "I can tell we're going to get along wonderfully."

Doragon chuckled at their conversation. "You won't need 'god' to help you, you just need me and Monollius. We're strong and ise enough to save yoiur asses. Monollius is quite skilled in magic." Even though he's an annoying know it all. Doragon added in his mind. ((As yopu can see Doragon doesn't exactly like Monollius.))

Kat looked from one person to another, then said. "Am i the only person here that doesn't care if we're really the bad guys? Come on, it's a frikking world, and most of the people i've met here are idiots or people i would happily kill myself. One of them managed to send insane the other person who was living in my head and the only one who would actually help me here! And now you're dragging god into the equation. God can stick his head up his own omnipotent a** for all i care. I really don't care what you lot think, but i'm gonna go to this town. you can all stand here debating about ethics until the world explodes." she followed in the direction that the others had gone. "What are these guys? The X-men?" she shook her head with a smile and vanished into the tree's.

Doragon realized the others weren'y keeping up with him. "You all do know you'll likely die without someone from this world don't you?" Doragon asked, turning his head patrially to see them out of the corner of his eye, revealing half a smile.

Aria rolled her eyes. "Is anyone going to listen to more than a sentence of what I say? If not, don't blame me if you can't keep things in context. Down boy," she added, not unkindly, to Anderson, who was glaring helplessly at Siri.

Anderson turned his gaze to the ground almost at once after hearing Aria's words, feeling very foolish. Given he was now being compared to an angry yet helpless dog he realised he may as well stop his glaring. And - He realised bitterly - dogs were obedient too. "OK, which way is the town?"

Aria felt an odd twinge of guilt as Anderson turned his face self-consciously to the ground. She had to wonder at that. It wasn't, after all, any more than she did at home; in fact, it was probably less.
She pushed it to the back of her mind as he spoke, and smiled slightly at his words. "I would imagine it's probably in the direction the two natives just left in, wouldn't you? Come on." She grabbed his wrist and moved after the other two; hopefully some unexpected movement would help yank him out of his rut of self-pity. If she realized the contact was something of an olive branch to get herself out of her own guilt-ridden-on-multiple-counts rut, she didn't admit it consciously.

Anderson's head jerked up as he felt his whole body be tugged across the ground by Aria. The sudden movement knocked him out of his temporary mourning reverie, and he smiled as he felt the rush of sudden air. He decided to join her pace, wanting to express some of his apology for being so morose.
Sunlight flickered through his curtains, as music started playing all around him. He groaned as he turned his alarm clock off, he didn't care what day it was. He had been happy, even if it had only been for a split second, for the first time in that world. He didn't care if it was a weekday - he was going back to sleep and he wouldn't be woken up.
As he lost conciousness in world he regained instantly in another, guessing that it would probably only be Aria who noticed his blip out of the world. He found he was still running which suprised him.

Siri, now walking in the back, rolled her eyes at the lot of them. They really were a group of misfits, and she was seriously beginning to doubt that a few hours in some random village would keep them from being killed off. There was Doragon, who seemed to think the rest of them were completely hopeless, which wasn't entirely untrue. Anderson just seemed to be socially incompetent, and Aria has the whole holier-than-thou thing going for her. Monollius seemed to be in his own world half the time, and everyone else wasn't here long enough for her to criticize them. Well, except for TK/Kat. That one was kind of self-explanatory. And here she was, trailing along after them and thinking of all the negative things. They sure were a winning team, all right. Siri sighed as Anderson flickered from her vision and reappeared, still being dragged by Aria. That was another thing. She was certain she should have woken up by now...yet she hadn't. So, there were a few options. One: She had rolled off the roof and died. Her mind was now stuck here forever. Siri grimaced at this, not sure she wanted to stay here until the end of time. Two: The whole time difference between their worlds was amazingly screwed up, and it hadn't been long enough for her to either wake up or have someone find and yell at her. Three: Something had happened to make her stay asleep this long. Siri frowned. Of the three choices, she would have to say she'd rather have Door Number Two.

Aria turned back to look at Anderson, raising her eyebrows fractionally, hopefully covering up how spooky it had been to suddenly have no wrist to pull on. "Nice jaunt?" she asked noncommittally, then turned and continued without grabbing his wrist again; that wasn't an experience she cared to repeat anytime soon.
((^-^'' Holier-than-thou! That was the description I was looking for!))
