Raine let himself sort of scoff at Xen's reasoning, he had to completely agree with Kimiko on her feelings, yet he didn't think that what he said could all be just a bluff. None the less he tied his blade back at his waist. "Yeah, Xen. Put away the snake, I've got some flowers to deliver." he pulled up the little pot and it's rider who in reality had no flowers, only little green leaves. Shaking it in front of them to stress this he eased out from near the bed staying as far away as possible. He wasn't particularly afraid of snakes, he just didn't wanted to get bitten by something he was doubtful that his teammate could control.

As he moved through to the doorway and looked at the door next to them he hesitated. "Aren't you guys coming." he didn't want to go in alone. Yet he started out and opened the door to the room. The first thing he noticed was an odd strong smell, some kind of ointment. Even though the room was full of beds, they were empty he couldn't see behind some of the curtains though. Raine checked the number on the door, as well as waiting for the other before entering. It was right. Room 24 on the second floor. He stepped forward on the linoleum and walked past the beds checking them. At the ends near the window he found the man.

Dash was sitting up against the backboard of the bed,his arms up-stretched and crossed behind his head. His closed eyes were revealed from behind his sunglasses which lay on the table next to the bed. The sheet was at his waist and he wore no shirt, revealing four pieces of white medical tape running over a massive purple and yellow bruise on his chest, no doubt from a broken rip. Raine frowned, he knew that was his fault. Not only was his dark skin bruised but all of the scars were revealed. On his gut he had at least seven or eight small jagged scars. Raine had seen these before. Besides that he had long thin slashes around his shoulders and ribs, there were at least four more besides the ones on his stomach. His chest rose slowly and steadily, and the boy knew he was asleep. He was a bit relieved though, even in his state Dash still looked cocky and strong.

The small boy turned back towards the others, whispering closely to them, "He's asleep maybe we should come back later." Raine shrugged, looking at the little pot. At least he could avoid the awkward moment of handing his sensei the gift. He would just leave it. Raine stepped forward next to his bed as silently as he could. He snuck as best he could next to the night-stand. It was a metal table spray painted paige with a few jars and small bottles on it. He chanced a glance at his sensei who was only feet away. Raine could here his breath, it sort of filled him with utter terror. Slowly he set the pot on the table, a tiny clink and Raine snapped to see if he had woken the man. He hadn't, with a sigh he retreated. Throwing up his hand and pulling it over his forehead dramatically to joke with the others. Raine then waved for them to head out to the hall so they wouldn't wake him. He passed them barely before-

(Whoa, you rushed me a bit there getting rid of the snake, no problem though...I'll have to make a ridiculously long post though.)

Xenon nodded with a small grin at Raine's request. Yes, it probably would look a tad suspicious if I was trouncing about with a snake draped about my arm wouldn't it?" He turned his gaze to the serpent. "Although..." He wanted to speak with it after visiting with Dash, and it would be a waste of chakra to simply banish it only to summon it again. "I want to have little chat with it later, perhaps if-" yet the snake seemed to under stand his will, whether through some strange sense granted by the contract, or simple intuition, it suddenly exploded into a brief burst of smoke, and reappeared standing a step behind him as a...child?

User Image

The snake, a girl apparently, was now henged into a diminutive human form, wearing what seemed to be some sort of combination between a sweat shirt, a sleeveless dress, and robe with a hood at the very top. Atop the hood were two sown snake like eyes, giving the impression of a serpent when the hood itself was up, and even the girl's blond hair was tied together up front in two long strands, causing it to resemble, if vaguely, the hood of a cobra. The girl was smiling innocently however and scampered to the chair that lay just next to him, fetching his coat and holding it up for him. If it had had a tail, one was sure it would have been wagging as though to say "I'm a good girl!". It wasn't a flawless henge by any means, and a skilled ninja would be able to tell it for what it was, but at the very least they wouldn't assume that it was a snake of all things behind the facade.

Xenon wasn't fooled for a moment, he'd felt that will during their brief clash and it was far from innocent, yet...he also felt that this creature was indeed subservient to him. He at least, needn't fear it. He'd play along. "Ah, thank you." Xenon said with a pleasant smile of his own as he took the coat and slipped it on.

Kimiko was looking at the Snake suspiciously. She didn't like the look of it, even in it's adorable human form. There was no way that it was really a little girl...no way in heck. Kimiko almost immediately labeled the serpent the minute she saw it on Maboroshi's arm... Everyone knew that villains, and subsequently anti-heroes, had two types of minions. Both were incredibly loyal, but they were also worlds apart. You had your basically neutral good hearted minions who were only following their master, like she'd dubbed Mokutan to be...and...

Her eyes narrowed slightly at the snake. Then you had the more wicked "left hand" of said Anti-hero, who would dirty their hands with all sorts of dark deeds whether their Master asked it of them or not. This one...

The Snake seemed to note Kimiko looking at her and suddenly put on a frightened pout, hiding behind her master's leg and peering at Kimiko as though she was some sort of frightening monster.

Usa-chan?

Sense Motive: 15-1=14

Kimiko instantly broke her suspicions. "O-oh, I'm sorry...I just...I've never...seen an animal do a henge before!" she saved with her best smile.

The snake seemed to brighten, though still hid behind her master's leg. 'What a fool.' the snake chuckled within the confines of it's mind. 'How interesting this is though, a summoner after all these years... one actually capable of subduing me...and such an interesting one too. This may prove to be more entertaining then I could've hoped." she had to hold in her usual mischievous snicker.

Xenon hinted to Mokutan and the bird fluttered over to his master's shoulder. "Mokutan, why don't you go show..." he looked down at the girl expectantly, hinting to introduce herself.

"Usa-chan!" The Snake piped brightly.

"Why don't you go so show Usa-chan outside, wait for me out front." he then said more seriously. "If you've any trouble..."

Mokutan nodded "Sure thing boss." He hopped down unto the snake's head. "Alright there Usa-tan, boss is busy, so should we be. You heard him." Usa-chan seemed nod cheerfully, before bowing to Xenon, and scampering out the door like a child at play, Mokutan atop her head.

Xenon straightened his glasses. "It really is odd...but...I can feel my command over her." he adjusted the contracts strap over his shoulder. "I'll have to ask Lord Kasuke about that. At any rate...lead the way."

Kimiko nodded. She didn't know why she'd been so suspicious, after all, Mokutan was just like a regular person, summon spirits were people too, it was reasonable for there to be little girl snakes...right?

As they entered Dashes room, Xenon held back a bit with Kimiko and Raine set down the plant. For a moment it seemed that their visit would be one of silence...but then...

"What did you learn?"

Xenon's eyes cast back to their sensei, before a small dull smile spread across his face. Yes...he'd thought as much. Where should he start though? There was his revelation about Dash, his talk with Rauban...his battle with his own mind within the labyrinth. From Dashes lesson? "Good Morning Taichou." was all he could say in reply to that.

Kimiko about nearly fell over. Had Maboroshi just called Dash Sensei captain? As in acknowledged his command without a hint of Irony? That...that...she was honestly struck speechless...

(Ha sorry about that sweatdrop )

Raine peeked back with utter surprise. As he turned himself he rolled his eyes, of course, what else could they expect. The surprise entrance was Dash's favorite trick. For a moment Raine was silent trying to organize his thoughts into words but Xen got there first....

"Good Morning Taichou."

Raine whipped over to the boy next to him, an expression of utter surprise. After beating their sensei up in rage he was calling him Taichou! The boy harnessed his face and looked back to Dash who still had his arms up and his eyes closed.

The man coughed deeply, after which he was deadly still for a while. The action may have been agonizing but it was necessary. He poked open an eye upon Xen's answer. "Hmm... fascinating." Dash still held his arm up on the bed but open his bright brown eyes. It felt odd without his glasses, however, he knew this was not the place for them. "Anything else?"

Raine looked at his sensei, "Well, I learned we need to talk to each more. Know each other." he didn't want to burst out with the plan they had just to try and explain themselves, it sounded to much like an excuse.

The man gave a little nod of his head. He wouldn't admit it but he could barely focus on what they were saying, barely hear them. His mind was still getting back on the horse. In fact he had only woken up once since the day before to place himself in this position. "And?"
PostPosted: Tue Jul 13, 2010 11:45 am

Xenon seemed completely at ease, but his eyes darted slightly. His medical knowledge didn't have to be on par with Doctor Gray's to see their sensei wasn't in the peek condition he'd first appeared. He didn't let this show though, he merely continued to give a subdued smile. It was Kimiko's turn it seemed.

Kimiko suddenly bowed as though apologetically. "I learned that I need to try even harder to help my team, or else we'll go off and do stupid things or misunderstand one another...I'm sorry Sensei." she seemed very serious as she said this.

Xenon finally put his hands in his pockets and turned. "And...that we all have something in common..." he looked back at Dash with a small grin. "All of us." he then coughed awkwardly. "If you'll excuse me Taichou...I have to go see the Otokage about a certain matter." he tightened his grip on the snake contract and left.

Kimiko looked after him surprised. "I also learned that Maboroshi can be really shy sometimes." she looked back at Dash. "He really did learn a lot though Sensei, I mean, you really should have heard him." she smiled "Um...thanks for doing that for him sensei...and..." she suddenly looked hysteric "I'm sorry I set you on fire!!"

Dash was quite as they gave their lessons. He was hoping that they would get something more from every one of his lessons, he actually hoped they would get the point of the lesson. It didn't matter, he knew something went wrong. And as a teacher, a new position that he felt oddly comfortable with, he knew that letting them find their own answers was really the best way to get it in their heads, however it was also not the best method for actually showing them the lesson. No doubt they would be given some scrolls on strategy later.

As Xen met his eyes, Dash saw something there that hadn't existed before the fight.

"All of us."

The man managed a smile, Good. Really good. he thought still silent. He asked to leave and Dash gave him a nod for him to go. And Kimiko stepped in, the man knew what she was saying was true. If that meant getting beat up then it was worth it.

"Um...thanks for doing that for him sensei...and..." she suddenly looked hysteric "I'm sorry I set you on fire!!"

Dash let himself laugh a little, careful not to use his lungs to harshly and hurt himself. "Ha.... really It's okay. It's reassuring to know that together you guys can bring down a jounin."

Throughout this Raine was happily smiling at the bedside, completely reassured by Dash's undying personally that eliminated the awkward situation.

Still in a humorous mood Dash flicked his eyes over to Raine barely shifting his head to stay still. "And you've brought me flowers? How sweet." he teased the boy who instantly shot into a red blush. Once again he smiled.

"Ah my Mom made me bring it." he slapped himself on the forehead, "And they aren't flowers. It's a Kava plant. It's for herbal tea and stuff like that. You know soothing stuff." he looked at the floor shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Well, thank you're mom." he felt exhausted from the conversation. Simply being awake was tiresome. "Now stop waisting your time here and beat it." he spoke jokingly, "Go train or something. I'll be out of here by tomorrow." for a moment he managed to keep his eyes open but decided if he shut them. The kids would go away, so he did just that.

Raine smiled, glad to see sensei so up after everything. Without saying good bye he headed for the door. Already planning everything he had to work on today. As he reached the outside, he turned back to Kimiko. "I actually feel really good know. About Sensei and Xen." he looked utterly excited, "He's gotten so much stronger I've got train really hard to beat him!" Raine clenched his first tightly and waved with the other before heading for the open window at the end of the hall. He felt too good to use the stairs, and pushing through the glass like a door he jumped out over the bright village. As he went he imagined Aoshiro.

(Exit to Oto village)

Kimiko's face was bright with her smile as she watched the exchange now, pleased that her sensei wasn't mad at her. Yes, everything had gone better then she'd have hoped. As she and Raine exited out into the hallway, Raine turned to her with a spritied expression of his own in place.

"I actually feel really good know. About Sensei and Xen. He's gotten so much stronger I've got train really hard to beat him!"

She then waved as Raine rushed off and actually jumped out the window, causing Kimiko to let out a small giggle.

"Honestly...I really wish you Ninja would use the front door."

Kimiko jumped slightly, turning about to see doctor Gray standing behind her. "Oh, hello doctor, Raine and I were just-"

But the woman smiled at her, if somewhat scolding "Yes, yes, this is about Xen right and your Sensei right? Xenon just left, the Maboroshi have always been very quick to recover from mental damage and the wound on his shoulder wasn't all that serious..." she looked in towards Dashes room. "Though I do wish he would take my advice about sending in patients from our own village you'd think the son of a doctor would know better."

Kimiko giggled yet again "I'm sorry...if it makes you feel better, I already punished him!" she flexed an arm with a grin.

Gray seemed to grin in turn. "It does actually. You take care Kimiko, tell your mother I said hello."

"Sure thing doctor! I'll see you later!" she barreled her way down the stairs.

"I certainly hope later rather than sooner, but knowing you all..."

((Enter from Outskirts))

Xenon kept up a swift pace alongside Kimiko, apparently entirely able to write in his little note book while still jumping over roof tops with minimal loss in efficiency. "So did you manage to finish your own training Kimiko-san? You were going to try and Master the Dragon bullet technique yourself weren't you?"

Kimiko, apparently likewise undisturbed by carrying the unconscious Raine over her shoulder, gave him a slightly incredulous look. "I guess that means you already mastered it?" she didn't even need to hear his answer. "Of course you did..." she muttered out of the side of her mouth rather loudly. She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that's right. Before Raine showed up that was the plan. I already master the Soshuha you know,"

Xenon looked at her sidelong, his golden eyes shifting from his writning with an impressed light. "Is that so? You'll have to show it to me later. How many blades are you able to control at once now?"

Kimiko shrugged slightly. "I'm not sure, haven't tried anymore then two." she indicated the three swords at her back. "But I'm sure I could do more then that. This may sound really weird but it was really easy. Like controlling them was natural."

Xenon shut his note book, placing it away in his pocket. "I believe you. You've always had an odd talent for completely overwhelming your opponent with the scale of your attacks. Your Shadow Clones are just one example."

Kimiko shut one eyes and stuck out her tongue in a joking manner. "You're just jealous because I won't teach it to you."

Xenon gave his care bemused smile. "Alas...you've caught me."

The pair landed in front of the hospital lightly, both of them not even flinching at covering the distance of roof to pavement. Walking inside, Xenon noticed that his summon remained behind at the door. He gave a slight chuckle. Medusa didn't care for this place...despite it being the very first place he had summoned her.

"Hm?" Kimiko looked around just noticing as they were ushered into one of the rooms off the lobby, the one's for quick treatment of Shinobi. "Where's that Snake of yours gone?" she looked slightly suspicious "I don't like it when I can't keep track of her..."

Xenon adjusted his glasses as Kimiko set Raine down on the table. "You needn't worry so much Kimiko-san, Medusa will not cause any undo trouble...she's not quite as evil as she'd like herself to seem." he turned to the unconscious face of Raine. "Besides, we should be concerned with our dear teammate don't you think?"

Kimiko gave him a dead panned look as she settled in a chair beside the table. "You make it sound like it was someone else that did it." she muttered almost amazed at him.

Xenon merely gave her a gentle smile, that she would know better then to think was anything but smug coming from him. "Why Kimiko-san," he said in a mock scandalized tones. "I've no idea what you mean."

They waited there for some time, Xenon shutting his eyes and resting in a chair in the corner, while Kimiko kicked up her feet beside Raine's Table.

"Why am I even surprised?" both conscious members of team four looked to the door, their gaze falling on the familiar blond haired woman in her usual doctor's attire.

"Doctor Gray!" Kimiko said with a wide smile spreading across her face. "It's been a while."

Doctor sighed, looking visibly exasperated. "Not long enough I think, can you all go a whole week without a visit here?" they both opened their mouths only for her to add. "OR sending someone here?" they shut them. She sighed yet again as she walked over to Raine, checking his wounds. "Let me guess...from the lightning burns..." she checked the boy's eye lid. "And Genjutsu..." she gave a look at Xenon "I'm guessing this was your handiwork? Honestly, You know his mother was SO pleased that he'd be home today and now you've gone and hospitalized him."

"To be fair," Xenon noted. "He DID ask me too. Indirectly."

Doctor Gray whacked him lightly on the fore head, as she often noted Kimiko of doing, only far more firmer, much more like Kimiko's mother Sanako was prone to doing. "If he asked to jump off a cliff would you?"

"No." Xenon said still smiling even as he rubbed his head. "Well...that depends on how high the cliff...but if he asked me to throw HIM over a cliff," she raised her hand again. "I would naturally trust in his judgement as a teammate." Xenon finished still beaming.

She rolled her eyes but lowered her hand. "Well, off with you Xen, there's a messenger here for you... odd that they checked for you here." she gave him another look.

Kimiko was laughing all the while throughout this exchange, covering her mouth slightly before stiffling it and looking up with her generally peppy smile. "I guess I'll see you later Maboroshi."

"And you as well Kimiko-san," Xenon responded, apparently still in a rather good mood. He flexed his muscles. This bit of down time at the hospital seemed to have given him time to recover. "Give Raine my regards." he left out into the lobby only to get a slight surprise to see Saijo there waiting.

"Hm?" The Chuunin looked at him sidelong, before holding up a hand in a still wave, both meeting one another by the door as they stepped back out into the open air. "Yo, Xen." A man of few words as always.

"Yo indeed." he greeted his older compatriot. "What's the occasion Saijo-san? Something come up?" he feared that perhaps Kyojin may have been spotted...or even worse, the threat he'd warned of was here already...

Saijo merely gave a silent shrug, before noting "Message." he handed him a slip of paper.

Medusa, pleased to see her Master was without his teammate's upon leaving, came over peer over his shoulder at the message.

Xenon sweat slightly. "A...substitute teaching mission..." Medusa began to snicker delightedly. "It's like Lord Kasuke is making fun of me..."

Grey had some of the stronger nurses pull Raine up and get him his old bed. She pulled back the curtain and examined him swiftly. He had changed a lot. He was bigger now and his hair had grown. He looked so different from before. She pulled off his blackened cloak and lifted his shirt. He had healed very well, yet the boy would be mutilated forever. The doctor sighed and dropped his shirt leaving Raine and walking out to the receptionist room.

"Would you call up to the third floor, please." Grey asked the receptionist.

"Yes, who do you need." The small woman stood up.

"Could you get Dash for me?" The receptionist nodded, "Oh and would you bring down some Kava as well."

"Yes, Ma'am." The small woman turned and headed up the stairs.

Grey did as well and went back to Raine's side. Hopefully, the boy's sensei would be happy to see him back home. Her hands sparked to a glowing green life as she stared into his unconscious face. There was only harm for these people... A few minutes passed as Grey worked her way over Raine's burns when a knock came on the door. The light fell from her hands as she turned to find a very tired looking man.

"Ah, look who I've found." she stepped back placing her hands in her coat pockets.

Dash stepped out of the hallway and into the room his eyes deep and sullen. He wore a plain white shirt with baggy scrubs and orange socks, the man carried a small container of a green gel.

"Ha." His voice was somewhat horse as if he had just woken up. "What an entrance." Dash handed the container to Grey, as he stepped up to Raine with a wide smile. The doctor placed her hand on his shoulder.

"I knew you'd be thrilled."

"What are you kidding I haven't seen this brat is a while. He's gonna be annoying the s**t out of me." He managed to laugh. "Hell, look at his hair." The man pulled his own hand up through his hair. "So the Kava's for a genjutsu then?"

"Yes." She stepped back to prepared the medicine in a warm drink.

"Mmhmm. No doubt Xen then." He let himself sit down on a stool while Grey back was turned and took a deep breath.

"Who else?" She laughed, "A bunch of misfits those kids are."

"We better watch out. They're getting to not be kids anymore." He leaned back and rolled on the hinge of the stool.

"Isn't it wonderful." Grey turned back with the tea in hand, and watched Dash while he closed his eyes with his head back. She waited for a moment. "Dash."

"Hmm..." He seemed to have woken a little.

"Did you sleep last night." Her voice dropped from that of an old friend to a medical professional.

Dash pulled his head forward with a smile, laughing a little he fell quite. "No." He sighed and then pulled himself up off the chair. "You worry about him. I'm gonna go get dressed."

"Okay." The doctor stepped forward, she knew the man wouldn't be able to bear Raine seeing him like this. "You coming back tonight?"

Dash was already making his way out, "If it's a date with you I'm there."

She laughed and lightly hit his shoulder for the joke.

"Yeah, yeah. Like usual." He sighed and left the room. Grey let he gaze stay at the door behind him for a moment before turning back to Raine. Nothing but harm.

Dr. Grey moved back to the unconscious boy with the Kava tea, as another doctor and his patient came into the room. She pulled Raine's head up and slipped the liquid down his throat. The woman pulled the curtain back and fell into the artificial shade of the room while her gaze lingered on the floor for a moment.

It would take a while for the medicine to work or to even revive Raine so she sat for a few minutes in silence, thinking to herself on the stool Dash had just vacated. She thought of all the shinobi she knew and had once known and pondered the reason that any of them would do what they did. How children could be raised to fight and to kill. It seemed in the end none of them were all mentally there.

Raine rolled over with a groan of pain which snapped Grey from her thoughts. She had work to do, pulling herself up she set back to working on the boys lightning burns. Once again pulling away his shirt and examining his scars in the dim glow of her chakra. To this day, she had no clue where they had come from.

As Grey managed to pull up baby red skin over Raine's burns, his eyes fluttered open, though blank and expressionless they searched primitively for her figure. The boy groaned once more, pulling his hand up to his face.

"Shhhh." She held his arm down with some effort to continue her work, but was meant with a jerk that far surpassed her own strength. "Well, so be it." She stepped back and let Raine roll on the bed for a moment by himself. No doubt still in the torment of a damaged mental capacity mixed with whatever horrifying images had caused his state in the first place.

Grey sat back on the chair for a moment more as Raine tossed on the hospital bed, shaking the wheels on the floor. He clung at his forehead pulled at his hair, but nothing too damaging. His groans filled the room, and a voice from the other corner spoke up.

"Dr. Grey do you need help?" It was the voice of a man, the doctor who had come in previously.

"No, thank you Hu." She didn't look up to him but just intently watched Raine, "Just coming out of a genjutsu." She sighed, how unfortunately 'usual'. Though after a moment of tossing, Raine calmed down and he pulled his hands back to lay on his face as he stared up at the light on the ceiling. "There we go." Grey whispered quietly to herself.

Raine lay still on the bed, his face contorting into a sort of confused pain. He was suddenly aware of a massive headache, and the fact that he was laying down somewhere very bright. "Ah.." He attempted to get up, only remembering the heat of battle, but Grey stood and pushed him down. The figure was a blur to him. A shadowy figure that reminded him of a shadow father. "Ah wow." He dropped his head back onto the bed dizzy, and took a deep breath. A slight concept of what had happened grew in the back of his mind but he couldn't hold onto it long enough to truly remember.

Grey now stood above looking down into Raine's confused eyes. She sighed, and placed her hand on his warm head. Slowly she stepped away to wet a towel and fill the small cup with water. The boy stared off to the light and held himself. She placed the cool towel on his head, which he quickly snapped up to grab but soon realized that he liked it, and held the towel there. Grey let herself have a little laugh at his behavior.

"Oh. That's good." She said to herself noticing his response. She pulled up the cup to his mouth and had him drink some water. "That should make you feel better." He pulled the cup from his hand and drank it, letting it fall to his side once it was empty.

"Can you tell me your name?" Grey asked down to Raine, but the boy just pulled the towel over his eyes. "Hmm... Okay."

Grey waited a moment while he held the towel on his face. She refilled the cup, and waved goodbye to the man named Hu as he finished with his patient.

Raine rolled once more and let out a grown, with an "Oh, man..." The level of consciousness caught Grey and she returned to his side, setting the water away and pulling out a small black flashlight. "Okay, this has got to stay up here." She pulled the towel off of Raine's eyes and flashed down the light, his pupils responded and she smiled. "Can you tell me your name now."

Raine closed his eyes in the light, "No, go away." He smiled, and Grey poked him playfully.

"Tell me."

"Tekkenseisai. Tekkenseisai Raine." He lay his head to the side on the bed, as Grey readjusted the towel. He stared at the curtain and the small metal stand that lay empty. "I guess Xen won."

"Yes well, we can't win them all can we."

He was quiet for a moment focusing, "Yeah."

Raine was quiet for a moment his thoughts still jumbled but trying to straighten them out. Grey interrupted the silence.

"It's nice to see you back." She had sat down once more and crossed her arms.

Raine smiled happily, "Hmm, it's nice to be back." Besides the fact that he had just been humiliated, he was happy, and he did ask for it after all.

"And what better way, to make acquaintance." She laughed, "For once, I wish on of you would come here perfectly healthy."

The boy laughed as well, "That wouldn't be any fun would it." He poked open an eye to watch the woman he knew almost like a mother. "Thanks for dealing with us anyway."

Grey looked down at him silently, "Who else would have the patience?" She stood up and pulled the towel from his head it was dry at this point anyway. "So how did it go?"

Raine rolled up onto his back to stare at the ceiling. "It went." He said with emptiness.

"Oh did it?"

"Yeah, I guess. I mean I haven't spent the last year, training and battling and what not, but I guess I found half of what I was looking for. The other half it for another time. A seriously far away another time." The doctor smiled, at least he had some wits about him. "And my and-" Raine's eyes widened.

"Raine...?" The Doctor suddenly changed her drive.

The boy shot up in bed "Pi!" He yelled, and pushed out of bed, Grey grabbed his cloak and tried to pull him but it was no use. "Raine! Get back here, you not ready to leave yet!" She was on the verge of panic and rage. For a moment he stumbled and grabbed at the metal pole of a standing curtain but he found himself and set of at a run.

"I'm sorry!" He yelled back, "I've got to find Pi!" The boy slammed through the waiting room, as the receptionist stood up in utter surprise.

"What's going on?" The girl called to Grey, who came from the room to watch the door swing closed. Her hand pulled up to rub her forehead. Who else had the patience?
