I don't know where it comes from - folk lore. German people. >__<
Anyway, it's basically a story about a guy who sells his daughter to the devil for money, accidentally of course, but then she's so pure and crap that the devil can't take her so he forces him to cut off her hands. She goes away, marries a king, has a baby, the devil messes with her, but then angels help her cause she's nice, the king finds her and then they all live happily ever after. oh, and her hands grow back. by magic.
there's also other versions where its her brother who is evil and/or wants her, or it's a snake that helps her instead of angels.
good times.
i'm thinking of making my character an athiest with daddy issues.
but that's debatable.
the profile is taking me a while so it may be a few days, what with trivial things like schoolwork getting in my way

Oh MAN. I've been lurking for like three years, and I just have to say that this RP makes me go O_O like A LOT. XD
I reallyyyy wanna crossdress, hahaha, but am also thinking about doing Rumpelstiltskin. Who knows why. xD
I would have liked to play the Mad Hatter, but considering there's already the Cheshire Cat, and they're both fairly eccentric characters, I would rather do something else. Hmm. . .
But really, I worship this RP like WOW. :3
