Right, then by the Scientific Law of Drathonian Semi-Intelligence, they should probably figure out that they need that from now on.

I have posted the new piece of Dratho-Tech on the tech forum, prepare yourselves for... the "Rex". And as an added bonus, to go along the new enemy of pilots everywhere, I am in the process of making a new "sparring buddy" for the Hymn.

Heya all. Been busy with studying recently, haven't had the time to think out a well-formulated post. Could you make up some stuff for me? I'm not very clear on the medical tech, so do you think you could fill in the blanks? I'll try to reply if you come to me.

Basically, medical tech is such that, no matter how bad you're hurt, as long as you don't die, we can replace anything you lost. it's more that way as a plot device than anything else, allowing you to beat the crap out of your character and have them ready to fight by the next battle. So jack having all his bones crushed will be fine, though it would take a quite a bit longer to fix him from all that.
Most likely, he'd still be in surgury right now. if you're busy then we can keep him that way, and i'll wait to start the ground campaign later, saying that the Hymn's soldiers go down as reinforcements or something.

I don't think I can help ya so much on that, I only really have two RP friends, and this is the only thread I've been doing for the past couple months.

I know your struggles, Kai. Recruiting and advertising for Alvirad is damn near IMPOSSIBLE! Not to mention the shortage of advanced/literate roleplayers in this guild. It all adds up (or rather subtracts) and equates to a very weak potential. It frustrates the hell out of me.

yeah.. A lot of the RP's here are good ideas and just die because not enough decent players go on Gaia (in another RP websitie i frequent, Gaia is shunned like the plague) What we really need is a forum frequented by literate players. And Alas, gaia is anything but.
Still, We gotta try! we've given her a good run and she ain't out of steam yet!

It's sad to think back on the development, at least in my history. I have been a member of and frequented even WORSE sites, which I choose not to mention. It was several years ago, though, and jumping to Gaia was a large increase in the amount of dedicated and literate roleplayers. I would say there are about... 20 times as many literate roleplayers here as there are at my previous locations.
And now, it seems, I'm going beyond even the upper limits of Gaia. It's just so damned hard to find DECENT PEOPLE WITH SKILL.
Which, of course, is why I so gladly opted to join this roleplay.

Allright. now is a point where i'm slightly confused as to what to do. As I see it, we have three choices:
1. RP out the ground campaign, and see where it takes us. 2. Timeskip, assuming we won. 3. Timeskip, assuming we lost.
Which idea sounds best to you guys? once we've figured this out, I can figure out where to go from here.

Unless you have a specific story loop in mind, assuming we lost is probably out of the question. Unless a drathonian armada warps to our position while we're still engaged on the ground, we have the battle in the bag. I'm open to either of the other two options.
